This person is the owner of creating a valuable Human Resources function that can support company through high growth, fast paced change for the next decade.  While many basic processes are already in place, this person will know how to create a more in-depth overall strategy for talent development, compensation, benefits plan design and standardized operating procedures that support a culture of passionate, innovative, collaborative people. Status quo need not apply. We are looking for the exceptional person who can see what needs to be done and move forward by bringing others on board to the vision. You need enough experience to understand what it means to be a strategic partner with senior leadership without losing sight of the importance of the individual. Our people care about our industry-health care-and the ideal candidate shares a passion for consumer driven healthcare and exposure to high deductible and HSA plans . 

DUTIES

*	Standardize and implement processes including manager training and tools for hiring, firing, compensation increases, and other common Human Resources actions.
*	Owner HR processes like performance management, promotions, salary increases, variable pay administration, stock option grants, etc. 
*	Culture and communications expert who knows how to open up lines of communications through formal and non-formal channels, and assist senior management with identifying key messages and performance metrics to create a culture of collaboration and accountability.
*	True strategic partner with management on people issues. Guides, consults, and supports with a firm but collaborative mindset.
*	Owner of compensation and benefits responsible for manpower planning, crafting and implementing the overall compensation and benefits philosophy, as well as the hard tools needed for managers to apply such strategy. 
*	Works with sr. leadership to understand staffing needs and implements strategy to ensure that manpower requirement, hiring and deployment is effectively achieved.
*	Responsible for talent development initiatives to ensure continuous talent pipeline of executives for the present and the future.  
*	Additional duties as assigned


QUALIFICATIONS

*	Must have 5+ plus years experience in a HR Generalist role. Must have handled recruitment, compensation &amp;amp; benefits, and performance Management focus areas.
*	Experience in designing compensations and benefits plans including hands on management tools
*	Experience building talent management and succession planning initiatives that go beyond basic internal promotion policies.
*	Successful track record in designing an HR function and standard procedures.
*	Written and verbal communications, marketing or public relations skill set utilized in driving key messages, and broad communication initiatives with an emphasis on tact and diplomacy
*	Proven ability to consistently and positively contribute in a high-paced, changing work environment. 
*	Ability to work with others in a highly collaborative fashion
*	Skilled at identifying high priorities, creating buy-in and moving those priorities forward 
*	Ability to navigate complex situations with maturity and strong communication and good judgment skills. 
*	Should have 2+ years experience in providing overall HR leadership as a part of senior leadership team and across strategic, operational and tactical levels.
