I have a Cochlear BAHA Intenso (Piano Black) hearing aid/processor in brand new condition. I wore the appliance for less than a week. I was unable to wear this appliance due to the abutment site never healing correctly and I recently had the abutment removed so that the entire site can simply heal over. I purchased the Intenso in April 2011 for over $3000. I would like to recoup a small amount of what the BAHA cost me. This BAHA comes with all of the material and booklets as well as the carrying case. I will also include the 6 pack of zinc-air batteries (minus the one I used) with the BAHA as well as the mini super dri-aid hearing aid dehumidifier. The Cochlear BAHA Intenso haas a factory set Automatic Gain Control output compression (AGCo) to limit distortion. The circuit has a dual time-constant system allowing for improved sound quality in loud environments. The Intenso has programming options allowing the wearer to adapt to noisy or quiet surroundings as well as a mute setting. In addition sound signals alert users to when it is time to change battery.

It has 3 sound settings. Wont be obsolete for some years unlike the DIVINO which will no longer be serviced in June 2012. I had to buy 2 of these for my son who has profound hearing loss. Before we were able to get them fitted the audiologist recomended a cochlear implant in his right ear. So I have this brand new in the box with case desiccants batteries manual and phonak maintenance tool.
