These little things are too pretty to ignore and I am actually thinking of changing my switch covers into something similar to this. Traffic is one of the most annoying situations in the road especially when you are in a hurry. Last Friday when I was on my way to office I encountered this annoying situation and when I found out the traffic was caused by the accidents in one of the intersections going to Trece. I haven't seen the driver of the motor because the police officer said that the roadside assistance was quick to response in bringing the victim to the nearby hospital. The one the really caused the traffic was that because the motorcycle was underneath of the jeepney and it was hard to removed.

In circumstances like this it is better to be patient rather than to exert your energy in getting mad. Traffic is everywhere and there are cases that it can't be avoided. It is always good to wake up early and go to work early because with this you are not stressing yourself on your way to work.

Highlights of 2012 New Year's Celebration

Celebrating with my family is one of the best parts in New Year's Eve. A cup of coffee with my mom and dad is like a toast of Champagne at Eiffel Tower in Paris. New Year celebration will never be the same without my family around. All were busy with the preparations and like always my dad, my brother and my youngest sister went in the coconut plantation to get young coconut for our traditional "Buko Salad" while I, my eldest sister and my mom went uptown to buy other things necessary for the food preparations.

I took that opportunity to have more bonding time with my mom and my sister and so we went to the nearby fast food and had a feast before going back home. Everybody was busy in making sure that all the foods were done before New Year's Eve. We were just so glad that all the things were done before 12:00 o'clock and everyone were ready before the clock finally hit the awaited hour of the day.

We don't have any kind of fireworks to celebrate the New Year but we have each other to make it more meaningful. We sure did our usual noise barrage by singing and dancing which make our New Year more fun and exciting.

Intel Q&R Christmas Party 2011!

I had a blast during the Q&R Christmas Party last December 22 and I was so glad that I attended this Christmas party even if the venue was quite far from where I live. I can say that it was the best 2011 Christmas Party that I attended because it really promotes good camaraderie to everyone of us. The theme of the Christmas party was "Pasko sa Pinas" and the attendees were actually ex-intellites who worked under the umbrella of Q&R department.

As usual, the organizers of the Christmas party did a really good job in coordinating everything. We even had a holiday give away for everyone. We also had games and of course a lot of food which add to the festive mood of the party. It was also because of the party that we think of having a group summer outing next year which I hope that it will come true. I know that it will also be a joyous event and I can't wait that to happen.

What's amazing in our party was that there were many people who were present which include our department managers as well as the section managers who really make an effort to free up their busy schedules just be around. It was indeed a better way of spending your time this season of Christmas. What do you think?

This Christmas I hang the Christmas stockings thinking that Santa will come by and put gifts on it. I know it sounds silly but then I wish that there is a real Santa Claus roaming around every Christmas. Nevertheless, I still got a gift of mens dress boots from one of my friend who is sillier than me. LOL!

Christmas stocking is a sign of hope and faith for little kids because they believe in the magic of Christmas. For adults like us, the true meaning of Christmas is not in the stockings or in any Christmas decorations but it is within our heart. Christmas brings joy to everyone because we believe that it is through the Lord Jesus Christ that we will all be saved. Christmas is the true meaning of God's love to us and we must cherish it in our hearts.

Are you in a hurry to complete your Christmas give away? Oh well, you are not alone as I am also thinking what to buy and I only have a week to go! Oh no! My busy schedules keep me away from going to the mall. Nonetheless, I still have to complete my shopping list. I saw a chippewa boots which I think will suit best for my sister. Then probably I'll just buy clothes or toys for my nephews and nieces but if I buy all of those then bringing it home will be difficult as I need to travel miles and miles away. Huh!

Precious Time with Bespren and with her Family

Last week was one of the happiest week I ever had this year and that was because I finally had a great time with my best friend Wella again and it was even happier because I finally met her family, her hubby and her two handsome boys. I am really happy for my bespren because I know that she is happy and contented with her life now. She has a very kind and loving husband and with two sweet and wonderful boys.

I only spent 3 days with them but I really miss having them around. I was able to have a bonding time not only with my best friend but with her family as well which I really appreciate. Those 3 days were so precious to me because I know that it will take years for us to be together and by then Samuel and Gabe are already grown up in which I can no longer hug them tight and kiss them thousand of times.

I was so sad when they left but then I know that they have to go back to their home. But more than that I was thankful that I was able to spend more time with my bespren and with her family while they were here. I know that I will see them again in the near future and that is what I am looking forward. We might be living thousand of miles apart but we both know that our friendship will remain intact no matter where we are and what we do.

One thing I can promise her that I will always be her bestfriend for life. Thank you bespren for spending your precious time with me. I really appreciate it!

As I was reading the news about the new 7 Wonder's of The World I feel so proud knowing that one of it was actually coming from Philippines. The selection process was very tough because there were more than 440 contenders coming from over 220 countries around the world which later shortlisted to 77. After that it was then trimmed down to 28 finalist by the panel of experts. Looking at it I can say that Puerto Princesa Underground River came a long way which makes the nation proud.

What makes it really difference is that I was able to visit the place way back 2005 and looking at the pictures when the panel of judges visited the place I am proud to say that it remains the same. The locals were able to preserve the natural beauty of the Underground River. Visiting this famous place was one of the quality time I had together with my friends that I will always cherished as I get old.

There's is still a long way to go and Filipinos should vote together to make Puerto Princesa Underground River to be in the final list of 7 New Natural Wonder's of the World. We can do it!

Save our Little Angels - HELP Stop Abortion!

I just received another Baby Invitations from two of my friends in Manila and I just couldn't help but think how their little angels changed their daily life. They said that taking care of their little angels is really tiring but worthwhile. I couldn't disagree to them because even if I don't have a kid yet I know the joy that these little babies can bring to us.

But despite of it there are still parent who are too selfish not to let their little angels in their womb to come to life. Abortion is still happening everywhere which is really bothering. These little angels deserve to live and see the world no matter how bad or good the world we live in. They are God's gift to every woman, to every family. When their heart starts beating inside a woman's womb it means that a miracle of life is happening so let that miracle grow until such time the baby is ready to see the world.

Let's all help stop abortion because these little angels deserve to live like anyone of us.....

Jazz Up My Room

I am trying to give a new look for my room and I think I want to have a log cabin decor all over the place. I am always fascinated in having a log cabin type just like what you see in the picture. But then since having that kind of bed cost a lot I will just transform my room accessories without really touching my present bed. Oh well, I love my bed the way it is right now and so I'll keep it as is.

As for the other room accessories, I already found cheap but classy furniture stores that will help me in decorating my room. I'll jazz up my room the way I wanted it to be.
