Click View and then click Options. Click in the box to remove the check mark beside Automatically create clips. Now, import the movie file that has interference and drag it onto the timeline. Then save the movie, and during the re-rendering, the interference will be removed.

Switching to Ubuntu doesn’t necessarily mean you have to say goodbye to all your favourite programs on Windows.

It is safe to say µTorrent is the most popular and widely used bittorrent client at the moment. Unfortunately there is no Linux version of the program yet. But you can still install and run it on Ubuntu, and here’s how.

First you have to install Wine on your computer. Wine is a software which allows you to run Windows applications on Linux, MacOS, etc. After you install Wine, download the latest version of ?Torrent from here.

Once the .exe file is downloaded, double-click on it to begin installation. During the installation make sure the installation directory is inside My Computer -> C:\ drive. This is a virtual drive created by Wine for installing Windows applications. (You can browse through this directory by going to Applications -> Wine -> Browse C:\ Drive)

When the installation is completed, you can run ?Torrent by double-clicking on the shortcut created on your desktop, or your can go to Applications -> Wine, and select ?Torrent from there.

Wine is a free and open source implementation of the Windows API which allows you to run Windows applications on Ubuntu (and other Linux distros, Mac OS, Solaris, etc.) In this post you will see how to install the latest version of Wine.

Before installation, get the PGP key for the WineHQ APT repository. This key will be used by your system as a mean to authenticate the repository. You can get the PGP key from here (right-click and save to your desktop).

Then go to System -> Administration -> Software Sources. Enter your password and select the “Third-Party Software” tab. Click Add, copy the following line of code in the box that appears and click Add Source:

deb http://wine.budgetdedicated.com/apt intrepid main #WineHQ – Ubuntu 8.10 “Intrepid Ibex”

After the repository has been added, select the “Authentication” tab, click on the Import Key File button and select the PGP file that you downloaded earlier. Then press the Close button.

Now you can install Wine by opening a new Terminal window (Applications -> Accessories -> Terminal) and executing the following command:

sudo apt-get install wine

Alternative, if you don’t want to use wine, you can use Add/Remove. Go to Applications -> Add/Remove, and search for Wine. After you find it, select it and click the Apply Changes button. This will begin the installation.

Once the installation is complete, you can install and run Windows applications on Ubuntu. You can find Wine in the Applications menu.

Enjoy

Autorun is a traditional feature in windows operating systems that enable media like the CD ROMs, USB Devices, Memory Sticks, DVDs, etc. to automatically launch the programs stored in them. This happens through an autorun.inf file present in the root directory of the USB Device or CD ROM and it contains a list of commands that get executed, as soon as the media is inserted into the appropriates drives of the PC. You will typically find autorun.inf on installation CDs.

Autorun is often confused with AutoPlay, a feature introduced in Windows XP. Though Microsoft intended it to be a useful feature, there are several viruses and malware that abuse the autorun.inf to spread itself.
How to delete Autorun Virus?

* First disable System Restore on all drives. To do this go to Control Panel -> System and choose the System Restore tab. Check the option “Turn Off system Restore on all Drives”
* Clear all temporary internet files in your browser
* Do a Disk Cleanup of all the drives on your PC. To do this, navigate to Start ->All Program ->Accessories ->System Tool ->Disk cleanup, choose the drive that you want to clean up and click OK.Once the drive is cleaned, proceed to cleanup the remaining drives

Autorun Viruses spread themselves through removable media like USB frive, etc. They contain three executable files namely autorun.inf, kavo.exe and ntdelect.com. These are hidden files and they usually disable the Show hidden files and folders option, so that you can never see them. The only way to find these files is through the DOS command prompt.
Delete autorun.inf and ntdelect.com :

* Click Start, enter cmd and press Enter
* Check all the drives for the above three files. For eg: to check the files in C:, type dir c:\ /a/w in cmd prompt and press Enter. This will list all the system and exe files. Look out for autorun.inf and ntdelect.com files.Disable ‘hidden’,’system’ and ‘read only’ attributes for these files by typing

attrib -s -h -r c:\autorun.inf
attrib -s -h -r c:\ntdelect.com

* This Applies to other drives also just replace the drive letter

* Then delete the files by typing

del c:\autorun.inf
del c:\ntdelect.com

* This Applies to other drives also just replace the drive letter

Make sure that you delete ntdelect.com and not ntdetect.com which is a system file
* Repeat from step 2 for all other drives

Delete kavo.exe :

* Search for kavo.exe in C:\windows\system32\
* If you find it, type

attrib -s -h -r c:\windows\system32\kavo.exe

to disable ‘hidden’,’system’ and ‘read only’ attributes
* Delete kavo.exe by entering the command

del c:\windows\system32\kavo.exe

* Click Start, type regedit and press Enter. Navigate to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows \CurrentVersion\Run,and
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows \CurrentVersion\Run. Delete kavo and c:\windows\system32\kavo.exe value.

Enable ‘Show hidden files and folders’ option:

Open Notepad, copy and paste the following and save it as a showhidden.reg file.

Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\
CurrentVersion\Explorer\Advanced\Folder\Hidden\SHOWALL]
“RegPath”=”Software\\Microsoft\\Windows\\CurrentVersion\\Explorer\\Advanced”
“Text”=”@shell32.dll,-30500″
“Type”=”radio”
“CheckedValue”=dword:00000001
“ValueName”=”Hidden”
“DefaultValue”=dword:00000002
“HKeyRoot”=dword:80000001
“HelpID”=”shell.hlp#51105″

Double click on the saved file to modify the registry.

That is all!!! You have now cleaned up Autorun Virus on your PC.

IF THE ABOVE METHOD IS NOT WORKING TRY THIS!

Open command prompt. Go to Windows, then Run, and type “cmd” . Press enter.

Type “cd\” and press enter to get to the root directory of c:\ . (if it is D:\ then select D:\)

Type “attrib -h -r -s autorun.inf” and press enter.

Type “del autorun.inf” and press enter.

Repeat the same process with other drives and restart your computer.

Restart your computer and it’s done. Enjoy the freedom to open hard drives on a double click.

“Graphics card must have pixel shader ability of 1.1 or greater for program to run.”I ran Devil May Cry 3 using 3D analyzer

or

The brand new game you just bought launches, but gives you a black screen and nothing else ? Or maybe you can hear some sounds but no video ?

have this ever happened to You ? Ah Well If Yes,then you are stuck like me (period) ,just like you or if you do have, you are having a primitive card. Well, here comes our savior from Tommti systems – The 3D Analyzer Tool. 3D analyzer was created and refined to overcome limitations posed by modern 3D Games and other Applications on several current mainstream 3D Cards.

3D Analyzer sort of “Tricks” your system into thinking it has a Nvidia, or even ATI graphics card! Of course, your games and applications will run in the mode they usually will (with the default graphics and such). If you have an Intel, you can now play games like “Devil May Cry 3″, “The Witcher”, “Resident Evil 4” and or any new gen games which earlier demanded of graphics card.

What it does is,it uses a part of your RAM as Graphics card memory. For example,if you got 1GB DDR2 RAM,then it’ll use 128MB of it as a Virtual Graphics card, and the remaining 896MB will be used as a regular RAM.

Cool right….so you can Virtually emulate NVIDIA GeForce TI 4600,NVIDIA GeForce FX 4900 ULTRA,ATi Radeon 8500,ATi Radeon 9800 PRO.Follow the given procedure:

Select the exe file of game which u want to play,

Next step, select the options as shown.Note that i have selected the VendorID as 4098 and DeviceID 20040 as i want to select the ATi Radeon 9800 PRO graphics card(use the index provided in the screen on the right). Click on Run.Doesn’t matter even if you don’t save the batch file.Your ready to roll ! Please note that the .exe file is to be selected from the main folder, and not the shortcut present on the desktop.

Well, it’s finally here. Although Windows 7 RTM is coming near. However, I don’t think waiting for Windows 7 RTM to be released first wouldn’t be wise enough because there may be tons of changes and need another long delay again. This version is pretty much simple for bug fixes and some in-house updates like ViGlance. But why 2.0 instead of 1.0.1 or 1.1? Because there’re some special updates in this release and it’s just only beginning for me (though some peoplemay aware of this and get bored already).

Seven Transformation Pack 2.0 Keynotes

Vista compatibilities – Starting from version 2.0, Seven Transformation will support Windows Vista operating system and allow user to get Windows 7 experiences in

Windows Vista. It will support XP/2003 and

Windows Vista in same installation package for easy update and avoid conflicts. You may think file size is too large for

Windows Vista user alone but please bear with it.

Bug fixes – some bugs found in previous releases are fixed. This includes clean uninstallation that will remove all installed features and tweaks for real this time. I tested it in Windows XP/2003/Vista and found everything removed properly. Bugs with incorrect icons are fixed also but I intentionly changed closed folder to ones specified in imageres.dll as proper closed folder regardless of Windows Vista/7 keep using opened for both. Vista Rainbar will not longer keep nagging full screen application and have memory leak issue resolved for long-time use.

ViGlance improvements – This is our MVP in this release. You will get the advanced version of ViGlance. It has Aero Peek feature showing live thumbnail on taskbar. You can pin application on taskbar as Windows 7. Options section is now available for ViGlance configuration and yeah…..it has superb graphics updated by Windows X that resembles Windows 7 RTM. The stability is improves a lot too and compatible with vertical taskbar and full screen apps.
