Here is a simple way that i found over the internet to get any iPhonebrowser recognize the root of the blackra1n jailbreaked iPhone or iPod Touch.

log into the iPhone using ssh tool (i.e. WinSCP for Windows, Fugu for Mac)
go to /System/Library/Lockdown/ and copy the file Services.plist to ur computer.

edit the plist file using any text editor and add the following entries above the line that reads:

<key>com.apple.crashreportcopy</key>

<key>com.apple.afc2</key>
	<dict>
		<key>Label</key>
		<string>com.apple.afc2</string>
		<key>ProgramArguments</key>
		<array>
			<string>/usr/libexec/afcd</string>

1) Set Folder Options to Show hidden files, folders…

2) Set *.mpg or *.wmv as Desktop Background.

3) Right-click desktop > Personalize > Desktop Wallpaper.

4) Select the hidden *.jpg.

5) Set *.mpg or *.wmv as Desktop Background again.

Works until reboot. Maybe someone can create a file to run at startup for a more permanent fix. I don’t think it would be to difficult but it’s beyond my capability.

It is safe to say µTorrent is the most popular and widely used bittorrent client at the moment. Unfortunately there is no Linux version of the program yet. But you can still install and run it on Ubuntu, and here’s how.

First you have to install Wine on your computer. Wine is a software which allows you to run Windows applications on Linux, MacOS, etc. After you install Wine, download the latest version of ?Torrent from here.

Once the .exe file is downloaded, double-click on it to begin installation. During the installation make sure the installation directory is inside My Computer -> C:\ drive. This is a virtual drive created by Wine for installing Windows applications. (You can browse through this directory by going to Applications -> Wine -> Browse C:\ Drive)

When the installation is completed, you can run ?Torrent by double-clicking on the shortcut created on your desktop, or your can go to Applications -> Wine, and select ?Torrent from there.

Before installation, get the PGP key for the WineHQ APT repository. This key will be used by your system as a mean to authenticate the repository. You can get the PGP key from here (right-click and save to your desktop).

Then go to System -> Administration -> Software Sources. Enter your password and select the “Third-Party Software” tab. Click Add, copy the following line of code in the box that appears and click Add Source:

deb http://wine.budgetdedicated.com/apt intrepid main #WineHQ – Ubuntu 8.10 “Intrepid Ibex”

After the repository has been added, select the “Authentication” tab, click on the Import Key File button and select the PGP file that you downloaded earlier. Then press the Close button.

Now you can install Wine by opening a new Terminal window (Applications -> Accessories -> Terminal) and executing the following command:

sudo apt-get install wine

Alternative, if you don’t want to use wine, you can use Add/Remove. Go to Applications -> Add/Remove, and search for Wine. After you find it, select it and click the Apply Changes button. This will begin the installation.

Once the installation is complete, you can install and run Windows applications on Ubuntu. You can find Wine in the Applications menu.

Autorun is often confused with AutoPlay, a feature introduced in Windows XP. Though Microsoft intended it to be a useful feature, there are several viruses and malware that abuse the autorun.inf to spread itself.
How to delete Autorun Virus?

* First disable System Restore on all drives. To do this go to Control Panel -> System and choose the System Restore tab. Check the option “Turn Off system Restore on all Drives”
* Clear all temporary internet files in your browser
* Do a Disk Cleanup of all the drives on your PC. To do this, navigate to Start ->All Program ->Accessories ->System Tool ->Disk cleanup, choose the drive that you want to clean up and click OK.Once the drive is cleaned, proceed to cleanup the remaining drives

Autorun Viruses spread themselves through removable media like USB frive, etc. They contain three executable files namely autorun.inf, kavo.exe and ntdelect.com. These are hidden files and they usually disable the Show hidden files and folders option, so that you can never see them.The only way to find these files is through the DOS command prompt.
Delete autorun.inf and ntdelect.com :

* Click Start, enter cmd and press Enter
* Check all the drives for the above three files.For eg: to check the files in C:, type dir c:\ /a/w in cmd prompt and press Enter. This will list all the system and exe files. Look out for autorun.inf and ntdelect.com files.Disable ‘hidden’,’system’ and ‘read only’ attributes for these files by typing

attrib -s -h -r c:\autorun.inf
attrib -s -h -r c:\ntdelect.com

* This Applies to other drives also just replace the drive letter

* Then delete the files by typing

del c:\autorun.inf
del c:\ntdelect.com

* This Applies to other drives also just replace the drive letter

Make sure that you delete ntdelect.com and not ntdetect.com which is a system file
* Repeat from step 2 for all other drives

Delete kavo.exe :

* Search for kavo.exe in C:\windows\system32\
* If you find it, type

attrib -s -h -r c:\windows\system32\kavo.exe

to disable ‘hidden’,’system’ and ‘read only’ attributes
* Delete kavo.exe by entering the command

del c:\windows\system32\kavo.exe

* Click Start, type regedit and press Enter. Navigate to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows \CurrentVersion\Run,and
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows \CurrentVersion\Run. Delete kavo and c:\windows\system32\kavo.exe value.

Enable ‘Show hidden files and folders’ option:

Open Notepad,copy and paste the following and save it as a showhidden.reg file.

Double click on the saved file to modify the registry.

That is all!!! You have now cleaned up Autorun Virus on your PC.

IF THE ABOVE METHOD IS NOT WORKING TRY THIS!

1. Open command prompt. Go to Windows, then Run, and type “cmd” . Press enter.
2. Type “cd\” and press enter to get to the root directory of c:\ . (if  it is D:\ then select D:\)
3. Type “attrib -h -r -s autorun.inf” and press enter.
4. Type “del autorun.inf” and press enter.
5. Repeat the same process with other drives and restart your computer.
6. Restart your computer and it’s done. Enjoy the freedom to open hard drives on a double click.

Or Else Try This tool. This works on USB and other hardisk Drives.

I tested it in Windows XP/2003/Vista and found everything removed properly. Bugs with incorrect icons are fixed also but I intentionly changed closed folder to ones specified in imageres.dll as proper closed folder regardless of Windows Vista/7 keep using opened for both. Vista Rainbar will not longer keep nagging full screen application and have memory leak issue resolved for long-time use.

ViGlance improvements – This is our MVP in this release. You will get the advanced version of ViGlance. It has Aero Peek feature showing live thumbnail on taskbar.
