There must be something in the water here in Naples because EVERYONE I know is pregnant! The beautiful Lexi came in last week for some photos of her growing belly. It truly is amazing how the body adapts. It’s such a strange and beautiful thing. I’m amazing by how much this first image resembles the moon. I just love it.

This lovely family was photographed just before Christmas. With the exception of one additional son-in-law, these are all brothers and sisters (with the parents of course)! My aunt had 13 children, so I can related to large a Irish Catholic family. This group was so kind and so loving with each other….and so easy going. I guess with 11 children, you have to be easy going! Here are two of the entire family from our night together.

‘Tis the season for…seniors! Aside from all our family portraits we’ve been busy with this time of year, we’ve had a surge of seniors lately which has been fun for a change. I drug Michael all over town and hopefully it was way more fun that he anticipated. Here are a few of my favorites from our afternoon together.

I love, love, love this senior! She was super enthusiastic and open to any direction…and photographed beautifully! She understood the concept of looking for the light and this truly makes such a difference. Photographing becomes more of a collaboration between artist and subject.

These three melted my heart last week with all their sweet singing and absolutely adorable outfits. In fact, it was hard to get a shot without their little mouths open they were laughing and singing so hard in the studio. And who says good things can’t come in threes? This threesome was just perfect!

My studio manager, Mike, is a man of many talents and hats here in the studio, but this time of year, he’s got one focus only and that would be…holiday cards! He custom designs every single card that comes through the studio which is a tremendous amount of work, but that’s what makes all the cards that come through here so unique and special. This design was so sweet that I thought it really needed to be highlighted. A combination holiday and newborn card that is sure to make any recipient smile upon opening.
