Then I became a bit “lost”. Profound grief due to the loss of my Grandmother, followed by the unexpected announcement by my [now] ex-husband that he didn’t want to be married anymore, then the expiration of my domain name (which I had owned for 10 years that was purchased by the ex) then the expiration of my web hosting, the loss of my previous WordPress theme, etc. My goal for 2012 was to get my website back up (which I did). Gaining momentum has been another story!

Although I am progressing each day, some days are more of a challenge than others. I often feel like a ping pong ball!

At “40 something”, I am not as young as I used to be! Change is tough!

Now I frequently ask myself “What do I want to be when I grow up?”

That answer hasn’t changed.

I want to help others through my story.

• I will do this through Coaching/Consulting
• I will do this through being a public speaker
• I will do this by being a Best Selling Author

At the moment, I have learned a few things:

Trying to do any of these while looking for a place to move, trying to pack, and having your home shown constantly, doesn’t work!

Trying to do this while trying to sell a car, and find one to buy, is insanity!

Trying to do both of these while raising two teen boys without any help is COMPLETE insanity!

My goal for this year [among others], is the same as last year, and the year before: to have the opportunity to “relish in boredom”.

I do at least remember a few of them:

Get my book published this year (better get busy on that one!)

Lose 20lbs in Q1 (since I haven’t even lost 1lb, that one isn’t likely!)

Blog twice a week (that one definitely hasn’t happened!)

Eat healthier – protein shakes and yogurt for breakfast – yes. The hamburger helper that we had last night? Not so much!

Have a new job that I love Q1 – “check” As of 2/22/13, I am a social media manager for www.inside919.com (I am SO excited!)

I am happy to say that I am feeling better and better every day! I have created a budget and am following it pretty well (with the exception of these crazy gas prices!).

Before all of that “mundane” gotta get it done stuff however, I will print and begin editing the rough draft of my first book (that I haven’t touched since completing it 12/31/12)!

First and foremost, I will clean up the disaster area in my office so that I can focus (I have never been diagnosed with ADD, but I am convinced that I have it .

Time management has always been a challenge for me, and today I will put that new calendar to use!
