We love spending time outdoors with our Heavenly Havanese after their first vaccines are done and it is safe for them to be Outside with us!

Did you know that Autumn in Michigan is an excellent season to potty train your puppy? The ground is typically dry and not so soggy like the Spring can be! Most families are finished vacationing for the summer and ready to start winding down with normal routines before the Holidays.

Heavenly Havanese are exceptionally intelligent and will potty train rather well with a consistent schedule from you! They love spending time running around playing in the beautiful sunshine and playing in the leaves! I do recommend training your puppy to use a Potty Bell at the door to let you know when they gotta go!

]]> Hi Everyone… Heavenly Havanese Invites You to Meet Reed!

Reed was born on March 21 2020 to Alice and Tobey here at Heavenly Havanese! This little puppy has spent each day with us learning and exploring! He loves to play with all the others… He even loves the cats and kittens! He enjoys watching the horses and loves all of their good smells!

Training is going extremely well… Reed already knows Sit, Come, Down, Place, Let’s Go, Alert, Heel, Leave It, and he is working on scent work too. He can alert to low blood sugar samples on the scent wheel and pick them out of regular blood sugar samples 99% of the time. He also lets us know when he needs to go potty outside.

He really loves to chew on his chew toys and will bring them all to his bed one at a time. He is definitely a little boy… he loves to chase ants and frogs and dig in the dirt! However he is super cuddly too! He really likes to go for walks and discover the world around him. This little fella is super smart and he loves to learn new things! He has already been such a joy here with us!

]]> Avery’s Litter is quite amazing! Avery’s little boy is going to become a diabetic medical alert dog for the little girl who he is going to live with. He is bright, alert, loyal and confident!  A perfect candidate for training for this important job! And these are Avery’s two beautiful white girls… One of them, but only one, will be staying here at Heavenly Havanese. Avery, their mom is retiring at this time. This decision is very difficult as both girls have amazing personalities and solid confidence! Both are extremely smart! Both have great structure and confirmation this far. The one who is staying we will be training to become a medical alert service dog! We are watching diligently and studying their personality traits. Both of these girls are good candidates. Stay tuned to find out who will be staying here with us…

]]> We would love for you all to meet Our Heavenly Tobey… He is a rare red brindle Havanese with such amazing spunk and character!

This fella is incredibly smart! He is always ready for some wrestling, happy to be cuddling, or a game of obstacles! He sits for treats or for pets. He lays down when he is asked and he comes excitedly when we call for him! He loves a good game of fetch too!

He has learned basic commands and is going to be working on a few more tricks with us! Tobey loves to jump on the bed for a nap and knows he shouldn’t if he’s been playing out in the mud!

He is a young ‘teenage’ pup and won’t be a year old until this coming June. He gets along great with everyone here at Heavenly Havanese. We are just so pleased with how this amazing puppy is growing up to be one beautiful dog!

Thanks for visiting! Keep an eye on this beautiful heartbreaker…  We are very hopeful he will one day be an excellent Sire for our future Heavenly Havanese!
