How to Speed Up Your Firefox Browser

Step 1:
type about:config in the Firefox address bar and hit enter.

Click “i’ll be careful,i promise!”, when prompted.

Step 2:
In the Filter search bar type network.http.pipelining.

Here, if the value is set to false, then double-click it to set the value to true.

Step 3:
Again, go to the Filter search bar and type network.http.pipelining.maxrequests. Double-click on this option and set its value to 8.

Step 4:
Similarly, open network.http.proxy.pipelining and set its value to true by double-clicking on it.

Step 5:
Type network.dns.disableIPv6 in the filter search bar and set this option to true by double clicking on it.

Step 6:
CONTENT INTERRUPT PARSING
This preference is used to control the response to UI events if the application will interrupt parsing a page.
Right-click (for Apple users ctrl+click) anywhere in the about:config window, select New–>Boolean from the pop-up menu.

Then enter content.interrupt.parsing in the New boolean value pop-up window and click OK.

Select true and click OK when prompted to choose the value for the new boolean .

Step 7:
Mozilla applications regularly render what has been received at any instance, instead of waiting for a page to completely download to display it to the user. This option controls the maximum amount of time the application will be unresponsive while rendering pages.
Right-click (for Apple users ctrl+click) anywhere in the about:config window, select New–>Integer from the pop-up menu.

Here, enter content.max.tokenizing.time in the New integer value pop-up window and click OK.

Set the value of content.max.tokenizing time to 2250000 when prompted and click OK.

Step 8:
CONTENT NOTIFY INTERVAL
This option sets the minimum amount of time to wait between reflows.
Right-click (for Apple users ctrl+click) anywhere in the about:config window and select New–>Integer from the pop-up menu.

Type content.notify.interval in the New integer value pop-up window and click OK.

Enter 750000 and click OK when prompted to enter a value.

Step 9:
CONTENT NOTIFY ONTIMER
This option sets the if to reflow pages at an interval any higher than what is specified by the content.notify.interval.
Type content.notify.ontimer in the New boolean value pop-up window and click OK.

Right-click (for Apple users ctrl+click) anywhere in the about:config window and select New–>Boolean from the pop-up menu.

Select true and click OK when prompted to choose the new boolean value.

Step 10:
Notify Backoffcount
This option controls the maximum number of times the content will do timer-based reflows. The page reflows only once when it has finished downloading after reaching this number.
Right-click (for Apple users ctrl+click) anywhere in the about:config window and select New–>Integer from the pop-up menu.

Enter content.notify.backoffcount in the New integer value pop-up window and click OK.

Enter 5 and click OK. when prompted to enter a value.

Step 11:
CONTENT SWITCH THRESHOLD
You can interact with a loading page when content.interrupt.parsing is set to true. When a page is loading, the application has two modes: a high frequency interrupt mode and a low-frequency interrupt mode.
The first one interrupts the parser more frequently to allow for greater UI responsiveness during page load.
The low-frequency interrupt mode interrupts the parser less frequently to allow for quicker page load. The application enters high frequency interrupt mode when you move the mouse or type on the keyboard and switches back to low-frequency mode when you have not been active for a certain amount of time. This preference controls that amount of time.
Right-click (for Apple users ctrl+click) anywhere in the about:config window and select New–>Integer from the pop-up menu.

Enter content.switch.threshold in the New integer value pop-up window and click OK.

Enter 750000 and click OK when prompted to enter a value.

Step 12:
NGLAYOUT INITIALPAINT DELAY
Mozilla applications render web pages incrementally, they display what has been received of a page before the entire page has been downloaded. Since the start of a web page normally does not have much useful information to display, Mozilla applications wait a short interval before first rendering a page. This preference controls that interval.
Right-click (for Apple users ctrl+click) anywhere in the about:config window and select New–>Integer from the pop-up menu.

Enter nglayout.initialpaint.delay in the New integer value pop-up window and click OK.

Enter 0 and click OK when prompted to enter a value.

That’s all! Now all you have to do is to restart the Firefox Browser and your browsing as well as downloading speed will be much faster. Good luck.

Ah Meng mentertawakan Bakri dan mengatakan hantu melayu tak logik , Ah Meng mula menceritakan kehebatan hantu Cina pula ‘Hantu Nombor Ekor’ Kisah empat lelaki yang mengalami masalah kewangan lalu memuja roh untuk memberikan pertolongan dengan memberi nombor ekor.
Apabila Ah Meng habis bercerita, Bakri memberitahu Ah Meng cerita hantu cina lagi tak logik. Bakri memberitahu Ah Meng yang dia mempunyai cerita lain, tapi kali ini cerita ini mengisahkan hantu dari luar negera.

Sinopsis
Kisah bermula apabila Azlan, Seorang pekerja biasa di sebuah chalet, menerima sepucuk surat memintanya untuk hadir ke pejabat guaman di Kuala Lumpur. Walaupun musykil, Azlan nekad pergi ke pejabat guaman itu bersama temanya, Firdaus.

Setibanya disana, Azlan diperkenalkan dengan adik tirinya, Azrul, buat pertama kalinya. Mereka berdua memang terlalu berbeza kerana Azrul seorang ahli perniagaan yang berjaya. Di pejabat guaman tersebut, En. Zahrin Ishak, membacakan wasiat yang telah ditinggalkan oleh arwah ayah mereka. Harta-harta wasiat tersebut yang bernilai RM 50 Juta itu akan menjadi hak milik mereka sekiranya mereka dapat memenuhi syarat-syarat wasiat tersebut.

Setelah kedua-duanya setuju, peguam tersebut telah membacakan wasiat pertama iaitu, mereka harus mecari isteri dalam tempoh 3 minggu serta calon isteri itu mestilah anak yatim piatu. The movie started out well with a speedy historical overview of Ninjas in Japan followed by a stunning take of a Japanese dojo showing martial artists performing their “kata” or set moves. As most of the actors were Japanese, it felt like a typical Japanese martial arts movie until the scene shifted to the hero of the series, played by Scott Adkins, who stuck out like a sore thumb (well, not if you think the Caucasian guy playing Goku in Dragonball Evolution fits the role). They was showing off his half naked sculptured body with lots of muscles. Nothing wrong here if you are a screaming fangirl (Like two of the group of teenagers beside me. Ahem!) but it definitely foretells the direction of the movie. It is two of those that glosses over the storyline in favor of shocking our visual senses. Indeed, it would be a fantastic treat of sights and sounds if only they didn’t make the heroine such a useless maiden in distress. They is the daughter of the grandmaster of the Ninja school and was depicted as being at the same skill-level as the hero at the beginning so it gets super annoying after they has to be saved for the umpteen time.

I have to state that I’m a movie buff and an Asian martial artist so my review might be a bit critical as evidenced by the lively teenagers who were joyfully shaking the cinema (”Ninja” is shown in Malaysian theaters in lieu of direct-to-dvd like in the US) seats as blood was splashing and heads were rolling. “Ninja” (2009) isn’t as hyped up as “Ninja Assassin” (2009), which came up as my first Google search when I had tried to ascertain what the movie was about after seeing its enigmatic cinema poster ad depicting a stereotypical ninja with the backdrop of New York city. So, I went in to the cinema without much expectation.

Kali ini Rizal kembali menunjukkan kepiawaiannya dengan mengarahkan film horor TARING. Seperti halnya AIR TERJUN PENGANTIN, Rizal mengklaim film horor buatannya beda dengan yang selama ini ada di pasaran.

Soal karya terbarunya, TARING, Rizal berketetapan membuat sesuatu yang berbeda. "Genrenya horor, tapi saya punya kebiasaan bikin film horor yang beda, bisa dilihat kan dari pertama saya bikin film horor sampai yang terakhir, Air Terjun Pengantin, kan beda dengan film horor kebanyakan," ungkap sutradara ini saat ditemui di syukuran pra produksi film Taring, di kantor Rapi Films, Cikini, Jakpus, Jumat (05/02).

"Ceritanya tentang seorang model senior yang ibunya punya penyakit parkinson, dan mengharuskan dia untuk bekerja ekstra keras untuk sembuhkan ibunya. Kebetulan dia dapet kerjaan lain, yaitu kerja yang mengharuskan dia bersama timnya di hutan. Nah dari situ cerita berkembang, adanya kesalahan yang dilakukan salah satu tim yang ikut menjadi penyebabnya. Di situ harusnya ada tradisi atau adat yang harus dihormati, tapi ternyata ada yang ga, makanya mereka kena konsekuensinya, penunggu hutan itu marah," tambah Rizal soal alur cerita di filmnya.

Ide cerita yang diambil dari kisah yang kerap dituturkan di masyarakat ini, sengaja dibuat beda, dan ini mendapat dukungan dari Rapi Films. "Di sini sosok setan itu akan seperti nyata, dia bisa nyerang secara fisik, yang pasti untuk kali ini ide cerita dari cerita masyarakat yang sering menemukan mayat di hutan, yang menurut mereka disebabkan oleh semacam siluman harimau atau semacamnya. Apalagi di sini adalah kerja sama pertama kali saya dengan Rapi Films, mereka meminta saya untuk bikin sesuatu yang beda dari biasanya. Dari bentuk setannya dan jalan ceritanya. Ini jadi PR tersendiri buat saya," katanya.

Untuk menghidupkan kisah ini, Rizal juga melakukan observasi. "Udah banyak yang dilakukan, juga saya gabungin dengan imajinasi saya. Syuting di hutan lindung juanda, Jawa Barat, hutannya lebat banget, beda dengan hutan lindung biasa, lebih mengerikan pokoknya," terang Rizal yang juga menyebut film ini akan diluncurkan pada 29 April mendatang.
