Yup, it’s finally getting off the ground. All you dub crazed bass heads out there in Tokyo town and beyond, get yerselfs down to Toritsudaigaku (on the Toyoko line from Shibuya) Friday, June 26 for some dusk-till-dawn booty shakin’. The club is called UQAN (say ‘you Q an’) and the cost is a measly 1000 yen, which includes one drink, so hey–what’s your excuse? I’ll see you on the dancefloor mofos.

Control Freak is hip deep in Laptop Battle Tokyo 5, check the site for details but all the Heavy7 crew will be in attendance in one capacity or another.

Me, being Laazerbeat, has a track up on Hexawe, yes it an acctual Lazerbeat release. Its a ten minute minimal noise track in the sense that only 300 bytes of sample is used in the whole tune but don’t let that fool you, its a monster. Interested parties might enjoy the inter view I did with Oliver Wittchow, the highly groovy creator of Nanoloop.

Our friendly neighborhood one man riot Luke Chaos hacked and slashed a couple of videos together for fun. You might recognise and old tune or two?

After the rather awesome release of Desert Fox not much has happened on the H7 this week. A few little bits an pieces for you though.

Create Digital Music has a rather interesting article up on edIT of The Glitch Mob, he goes over his live set up. Well worth a read.

I attended Lo-Bit playground 12.0 and was blown away by Quarta330, Hally and Utabi. I wrote a review for True Chip, you can check out the the first part and the second part for details.

Finally, in theory, I should have a ten minute ish noisy track out on Hexawe complete with source files sometime in the not too distant future.
