Gypsy has taken a vacation from her usual designs to put the finishing touches on this structure inspired by the 1960's classic television show, "I Dream of Jeannie". It began a year ago and has sat in her workshop nearly completed for months. Evidence of her dedication to quality textures.

This 13 prim structure will fit lovely on a 512 parcel and can fit just about anywhere. It is 10m in diameter and 33m high when uncorked. It features indoor curtain/window options, a floor that changes color via menu and low level lightening inside. There are 8 pose cushions included which can be replaced with your own furniture. - All original textures.

Southern Comfort

A recent release this beautiful gown is located on the second floor east end of the store and comes in several colors, and is patterened with stars all over. This is another of the gorgeous releases from GypsyRainbow done with her usual careful hand and precise touch. A sleeveless top , floor length skirt, and a sweet little white hat with a band matching the dress. Included with this one is a pair of pumps with the same pattern as the dress. The top can be worn waist length or showing a little bit of tummy and with a collar or without, either way looking absolutely cute and comfortable.

This new beautiful offering from GypsyRainbow and Hectic Moon is absolutely gorgeous. It is a beautiful red and black silk lace number that comes with two skirts so you can change your look from sweet and sassy to sexy and naughty. A flexi multi layered longer skirt that has black lace under red silk and a little mini for a shorter sexier look. Underneath you have a sexy little garter set with embellished sheer stockings. Comes with a modifiable but non scripted collar that is just the right finishing touch to this sexy little number.

The Barbary Coast is an absolutely beautiful new release from Hectic Moon. This one took GypsyRainbow quite a bit of time as she made the most beautiful lace underskirt for it, with the utmost care and precision. Accompanied by both white and black stockings, this one has a beautiful vertical striped multi layered flexi skirt, a striped corset, poofy sleeves, a garter belt with straps to attach to your thigh high stockings, and a cute little collar with a bow (unscripted).
Great for a night out on the town this one is perfect for a formal occasion or just going to a party with friends. Comfortable and absolutely gorgeous this one come in Red, Green, Blue, Brown, and Violet and is worth every bit of time GypsyRainbow put into it.

The Snacks and Sweets Hunt

A sweet little number made by GypsyRainbow for The Snacks and Sweets Hunt. This one is another gorgeous mini skirt, black with pink, green, and blue stripes going around the hem. Paired up with a cute spaghetti strap tank with the same colored stripes going diagonally across the front of the top with a small pile of sweet hearts candies by the left hip, with Sweet Heart written over it. To top the whole outfit off a pair of black stockings with the same beautiful pink, blue,and green stripes that come up to your thighs. This is the perfect outfit for staying home with your love or going out on the town for a night of fun.

Traditional Gypsy: Sexy and Elegant

Sexy and elegant in a traditional gypsy design, this skirt set has been in the works for a long time. I just was never satisfied with the result before.

Feeling completely inspired this week to create a traditional sexy Gypsy Skirt. This gorgeous design features a long satin flexi skirt, black lace overskirt and matching belted scarf accented with gold and silver chains. (The layers are all attached to save on precious SL attachments.)

To set off the ensemble, I have added an flirty gypsy top with lace sleeves and lace trim. Available in both cropped and full length these tops are modifiable so you can tint or lengthen as you wish.

The set is sold with Red, Violet or Teal skirts all at an affordable price.

Tattered and Heart Bound

Lately I have just been loving the leg warmers and adorable short skirts. I keep saying "No more short skirts!" But then I start working and that is where the inspiration leads me.
This set revisits soft plaids recycled from the Dusty Gypsy Line. They are patched and show a bit of tattered wear that just adds to the charm of this incredibly sexy set. Available in Blue, Green, Red or Purple.
Complete with leg warmers, arm warmers, flexi skirt, top and cuffed stockings, this hot ensemble is fun and comfortable. As always, the skirt is modifiable and can be sized to fit. Sigh, it is so nice to have winter behind us. Because she is SO excited to be out of hibernation, Gypsy is enamored with dragonflies this month and has created all of the latest hunt gifts with dragonflies in mind.

Just a word to everyone, you really need to come down to Hectic Moon and see the newest designs by the famous GypsyRainbow. I am a puppy at heart and a neko, these designs add a zest to the already incredible atmosphere that surrounds you. They are fun and delectable, along with giving you that statement -- "look at me". She has several colors to suit many tastes and for those puppies out there, a dog bone for a buckle on the skirt, along with one for you as a treat. Crystal Palace in the Sky

Yule Holiday Treasure Hunt

What happens to designs that never get released? Do they end up on the cutting room floor? No way! They get added to our holiday treasure hunt!

The shop is packed with some of our undiscovered gems. Hidden around the shop are 12 wrapped packages containing various items that for one reason or another were never released. There are women's clothing, unisex clothing and some home items. One of the packages contain a freebee of one of our newer Opal Moon outfits, but in an unreleased color.

Most of the gifts are pretty nifty. If you enjoy this, please drop me a line and let me know.

The hunt runs from 12/22 to 12/26/08. So you have plenty of time to search and to tell all of your friends!

Hectic Moon gets a new look

Whew! I have been busy in the shop updating all of the advertisements and signs with the new logo. At first, it was overwhelming but it has given new such life to the designs that now I am incredibly excited about the new look.
So time to review a couple of Fall releases which would be SO sweet for the holidays.

The outfit above is Elegant Gypsy in brown from our Dusty Gypsy series. This set features a corset top and fingerless gloves with a brocade flexi skirt and cincher and a bit of a realistic worn look.

Hello! I am GypsyRainbow Nightfire, the owner of Hectic Moon. This blog has been created to annouce new releases and to get ideas from the Second Life community. Like many designers in Second Life, I am passionate about designing. While my RL friends are in SL exploring and role playing, I find myself at home creating new fashions.
Usually, I start with an idea or a 'look' in mind and from there it develops. As the item takes shape, it gets a personality all it's own.
If you browse through my shop in-world, you can see how my designs have changed and grown as I have expanded my talent and my taste. I have always found that I retain knowledge by 'doing' so designing is how I learn to use my skills in SL.
In the next few months, I will be releasing new designs, revamping old designs and testing new ideas. Please join me in the journey of exploration and style.
