I was kindly asked to paint at this year's Metro gallery Christmas party, alongside good mates Drewfunk, Itch, and Mysterious Al. The event is on 17th Dec, from 12 onwards. Free food and drinks, and good tunes. The facebook event page is here.

And my home base, the Blender Studios is having its annual Christmas show, and party on the 23rd of Dec. Live music, live art, exhibition of the Blender crew of artists.. It's always big and loud, and this year won't be an exception. Event page here.

Meanwhile, Artboy gallery had its Artboy VS Fanboy: Sci-Fi Edition group show, where I put the Darth Vader painting, and painted this Darth Maul on the outside of the gallery. Photos of the opening here.

a quick update of what i been up to last few weeks.

hung out with D*Face and E.L.K

Painted this deck for the Board show at the NGV Studio, opening today and going for 3 months. lots of excellent artists involved. very excited to be part of it.

Spent a weekend at Outpost festival on Cockatoo Island. Had the best time hanging out with mates, camping on the island, and painting tazzie devils. i had some pasteups in the Paste Modernism 3 room, and a painting and couple of prints up for grabs at Urban Uprising popup gallery on the island too.

on the opening night VIP party I did a Secret Wars battle along with Ben Bigeni, Mike Watts, and Teem. Estimated 2,500 people crowd. pretty hectic.

Just finished a painting for Dark Horse Experiment gallery's portrait show "Face/Look".

"Frank" - approx 100 x 66 cm, acrylics and aerosol on wood.

Secret wars grand final is on wednesday 17th, at Oxford Art Factory. apparently it's all sold out. they'd have 50 tickets on the door though.

and Colour by Numbers Gallery's second show "Paper Thin" opens a week after on August 25th. I've got a brand new watercolour/gouache/ink painting in it. and it's an awesome line-up too. if you're around Sydney, definitely go check it out. it's well worth it! click the image for larger view of the invite.
