The Devil Inside is the demon horror movie that the Vatican does not want you to see. Many have been possessed by one; only one has been possessed by many. Paramount Pictures is releasing The Devil Inside January 6, 2012 and I can’t wait to catch this horror film. SEE IT IN THEATERS NOW!

In 1989, emergency responders received a 9-1-1 call from Maria Rossi

(Suzan Crowley) confessing that she had brutally killed three people. 20 years later, her daughter Isabella (Fernanda Andrade) seeks to understand the truth about what happened that night. She travels to the Centrino Hospital for the Criminally Insane in Italy where her mother has been locked away to determine if her mother is mentally ill or demonically possessed. When she recruits two young exorcists (Simon Quarterman and Evan Helmuth) to cure her mom using unconventional methods combining both science and religion, they come face-to-face with pure evil in the form of four powerful demons possessing Maria.

The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo will be released December 21, 2011 and looks like it will be dark, edgy and mysterious similar in regards to The Silence of the Lambs. We have been selected to release photos on set with Lisbeth Salander.

Lisbeth Salander is our heroine in The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo who is as badass as they come. Lisbeth begins her assault on a bully in her youth in which she exacts her revenge on him by hitting him with a bat the next day. Lisbeth gets punished severely but learns a valuable lesson, do not get caught or even suspected! Lisbeth Salander depises her father who abuses her mother and at the age of 12 years old, sets her father on fire. This act of revenge backfires with Lisbeth being sent to a Children's Psychiatric Hospital and declared legally insane.

Lisbeth is released and later becomes a "cracker", a computer hacker with an alias of "Wasp" and is apart of the Hacker Republic.

We can't wait to see Lisbeth Salander in The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo December 21, 2011.

The Hunter 3D is Malaysia’s first 3D horror film. Their official Facebook page released their new poster and teaser trailer. Written and directed by Bjarne Wong and stars Lou Qi, Carmen Soo, Cindy Chen, Koe Yeet, Soo Wincci, Smyth Wong, Tavani and Sharifah Amani. The Hunter 3D is soon to be released in South East Asia theaters sometime in 2012.

A film crew from China is tasked to shoot exotic flora and fauna of the world’s mysterious 3rd largest island, Borneo. Historical treasures and hundred year old human skulls still hang in the almost untouched equatorial virgin rainforests native homes, in this the notorious tribal land of the Head-hunters. Locals known for their supernatural prowess, bravery and fighting abilities to survive had been at uncountable wars, ending always with enemy skulls brought back home as trophies. The head-hunters live by the hundreds under one common roof. They wear exquisite tribal tattoos over their bodies, intricate woven cloth, produce practical tools, and arts dedicated nature. But most of all, they craft the sacred and ferocious blades meant for ending their enemies lives, and without hesitation, separating skulls from the bodies. Blood World Sales is now in pre-production on BloodRayne IV and will begin shooting in early 2012 for home video release in fall 2012. Natassia Malthe will be returning as the hero after starring in both sequels, BloodRayne: Deliverence and BloodRayne: The Third Reich.

The BloodRayne movies are based on the popular video games. The first horror film flopped horribly at the box office in 2006 with only $3.6 million worldwide. Kristanna Loken played the original Dhampir, half-human and half-vampire offspring of a noble vampire.

Evil children are center stage in Childish Games and are our true to life little monsters. Remember Children of the Corn or The Children etc. A psychological thriller that is now in post-production and will be released sometime in 2012. Written and directed by Antonio Chaverrias. Childish Games stars Juan Diego and Barbara Lennie.

Synopsis: "Daniel receives an unexpected, and unwanted, visit from a friend who he hasn't seen since his childhood. His friend is obsessed with his daughter and insists that Daniel has to meet her. Daniel does his best to get rid of him and tries to forget the incident. That same night his friend commits suicide.

Laura, Daniel's wife, suggests they go to his friend's funeral. There they meet his daughter, a little girl, barely seven years old, who since the death of her father has been taken into foster care. Laura convinces all parties that the best thing is for the little girl to go and stay with them.

But the little girl's presence in the house starts to have an adverse effect on the couple when fears and memories which Daniel thought he had long since buried start to come creeping back inside his head. The same obsessions and fears that took the life of his friend start to take control of Daniel. A growing sense of isolation engulfs Daniel in the house, which until the arrival of the little girl, he had thought belonged to him."

Ghost Rider 2 is looking great from the clip shown at the Spike TV Scream Awards. The CGI graphics look amazing and Nicolas Cage will have his hands full in his battle against the Devil. As the synopsis reads, Ghost Rider (Johnny Blaze) will be living in isolation in order to try to keep his demonic powers at bay. He will team up with a religious sect that will take on the Devil before he can possess the child body who is the son of the Devil.

Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengeance is directed by Brian Taylor and Mark Neveldine which stars Nicolas Cage, Idris Elba, Violante Placido, Johnny Whitworth and Ciarian Hinds.

Synopsis: It has been several years since making a deal with the Devil and Johnny Blaze (Nicolas Cage), living in self-imposed isolation, finds himself as the only person who can help save 10-year-old Danny – and ultimately the world – thanks to his unwanted and uncontrollable power – his ability to transform into the hell-on-wheels monster known as The Ghost Rider.

Since Halloween is so close, I thought we needed a nice Top 10 Kids Halloween Movies List. I created this list by asking my own sons for help on this. We came up with Halloween Town, Casper, Hocus Pocus, The Haunted Mansion, Tim Burton’s The Corpse Bride, Coralina, Monsters Inc., Monster House, The Monster Squad and Wallace & Gromit: The Curse of the Were-Rabbit. These must see scary movies for kids will make a great Halloween night.

On Halloween, Grandma Aggie comes to visit her grandchildren and wants to start grand daughter Marnia's witch training before her 13th birthday or Marnia will lose her powers forever. Besides fear of losing her powers, an evil force is rising in Halloweentown and Aggie needs help to defeat it. Marnia follows her grandmother onto the bus back to Halloweentown and gets to see all the amazing creatures living there together. Together they do battle against the evil.

Our friendly ghost Casper finds new friends, Christina Ricci no less, and they must team up to fight an evil force. Caspers' three brothers love to make trouble and there are some good comedy scenes. Casper sets a tone that most kids love and can't stop watching.

Hocus Pocus is one of my favorites as a child. Mostly funny than scary, this film is very entertaining. Three witches return to our world on Halloween and begin to get in to all types of trouble. It is up to two sisters with the help of a new friend to send the witches back to the dead.

The Haunted Mansion stars Eddie Murphy as a father who moves in to a mansion. Unknowingly, the mansion is haunted by ghosts. Packed with loads of laughs that all children will love.

Tim Burton's The Corpse Bride stars Disney favorite Johnny Depp from The Pirates of the Caribbean franchise. While a shy groom practices his wedding vows in the presence of a dead young woman, she thinks the proposal was to her. She now believes herself to be married to him and everything gets funny from there.

Coraline is about a little girl who finds the door to an alternate world. Coraline soon discovers that these alternate world has sinister plans for her. Kids love this movie because every kid thinks they can travel somewhere else and only need to find the door to another world.

Monsters Inc tries to show us the lives of monsters. We also find out why they need us to scream. At the same time, monsters are terrified of humans. One little girl gets past security and travels to the monster world. By the end of Monsters Inc, we find out that monsters and humans can live together.

Wallace and Gromit are in the exterminating business and must get rid of pests terrorizing local gardens. Later on in Wallace & Gromit: The Curse of the Were-Rabbit we discover that the culprit is a were-rabbit. A terrible beast that goes crazy destroying all in its path. Can they save the town? Who is the monster?

One of my childhood favorite scary movies from when I was a child. The Monster Squad features all the classic monsters. Dracula, Frankenstein, Wolfman, the Mummy and even the Creature From the Black Lagoon all make appearances. This was like the kid version of The Lost Boys where kids are hunting these great classic monsters from our horror genre.

Monster House has to be the best of the bunch. DJ his left home with the babysitter to watch him. The neighbor across the street has always been a spooky old man living in a spooky old house. With the help of Chowder and Jenny, they set up a watch on the monster house. They soon discover that the house itself is haunted and learn the true origin of the house. This is one those scary kids movies that you can watch over and over and still enjoy.

Monsters vs Aliens: Mutant Pumpkins from Outer Space is only 30 minute special but well worth it. I liked this film as it makes the pumpkins be the villains. The aliens transform into pumpkins and attempt to take over the earth. It is up to our favorite monsters to save us all.

AMC The Walking Dead Season 2 killed it with an amazing 7.3 million total viewers. The top zombie TV series sets the record as the No. 1 series on Sunday night, according to Nielsen. I loved watching season 1 and couldn’t wait to see Season 2.

Robert Kirkman's comic series proved its' worth by delivering a great TV series on the AMC channel. I was a little skeptical but all doubts and fears were dismissed. Glad to see that someone is doing the zombies justice.

These demon movies you have to see. Our Top 10 Demon Movies include The Rite, The Devil’s Advocate, Paranormal Activity, Fallen, Hellraiser, Devil’s Rock, The Amityville Horror, Drag Me to Hell, Case 39 and The Exorcist. Stars like Linda Blair, Denzel Washington, Keanu Reeves, Al Pacinio and many more round out the collective cast.

The Rite stars one of my favorite actors, Anthony Hopkins. Hopkins delivers an excellent performance in this duel role. The side of the skeptic is kept in the mix at all times and i loved the eerie mood maintained throughout the horror movie. This felt like a nice companion to The Exorcist. An updated for the modern times and graphically appealing demon movie to watch a few times as replay value is there. The Rite makes good with leaving you questioning yourself about all those demons and angels questions and balancing our modern existence with science. The weirdest scenes are the possession of the pregnant girl and the possession "scary faces" that were created.

The Rite favorite quote: Father Lucas Trevant says "Be careful Michael, choosing not to believe in the devil doesn't protect you from him."

The Devil's Advocate is one of those horror movies that screams crazy as hell. Every last sin in the book is broken and shoved in your face to show you the limits that the devil can push you. Imagine you are unknowingly the devils son and he comes back and hires you on his corporate team and gives every richly desire. Then he comes for his payback. The devil wants you to kill, commit incest and all other types of sick twisted acts of evil. I enjoyed this one a lot and having Al Pacino as the devil is just classic.

Devil says: John Milton who is really the devil delivers a memorable blasphemous lecture, saying, "God likes to watch. He's a prankster. Think about it. He gives man instincts. He gives you this extraordinary gift, and then what does He do, I swear for His own amusement, His own private, cosmic gag reel, He sets the rules in opposition. It's the goof of all time. Look but don't touch. Touch, but don't taste. Taste, don't swallow. And while you're jumpin' from one foot to the next, what is he doing? He's laughin' His sick, f***in' ass off! He's a tight-ass! He's a sadist! He's an absentee landlord!" - crazy as hell!

I remember when Paranormal Activity first came out, everyone was so scared by these newly touched on "found video footage." I watched this horror movie thinking this is just another overrated ghost film. Micah was such an ass that you just had to love his character. As we get deeper into the story, we discover that we are not dealing with ghost but in fact a horrific demon entity bent on causing as much harm and evil as it can possibly cause. I do not want to spoil anything but I was left with one question, whatever happened to Micahs' wife?

Paranormal Activity favorite quote: While Micah is discussing demons, Micah says "Basically, they're these malevolent evil spirits that only exist to cause pain and commit evil for their own amusement. It's pretty creepy- I mean, they stalk people for years, like decades, and sometimes they're really intelligent in the way they do things to freak you out."

Denzel Washington starred in a demon film and yes it was good. The Fallen is about a demon who can jump into any body by just touching them. This opens up all types of possibilities and hopelessness for Denzel. Denzel sets himself to fight an evil entity as old as mankind. The evil fallen angel known as Azazel maybe a body jumper by touch but when the host dies, he is denied no host.

Fallen favorite quote: Azazel the fallen angel announces his presence by singing, "Time is on my side." This is from a Rolling Stones song. (Yes, the demon has got taste.)

Hellraiser has to be one of the most gory movies of all time. I mean full on body mutilations and bloody deaths galore. Clive Barker was nuts when he came out with this one. Demons from Hell unleashed upon the earth and the first thoughts on their minds are to kill everything and anything in sight. These devils manipulate you into doing evil deeds then once their soul has been corrupted to the dark, they claim your soul. Pinhead is the leader and he loves making humans suffer and relishes in it.

Pinhead says: "No tears, please. It's a waste of good suffering," says the lead Cenobite, who is more popularly known as Pinhead.

The Devil's Rock is one of the new horror movies of 2011 and is one of the best of the year. Everyone knows Hitler was deep in the occult and searched desperately for artifacts of power. Super weapons were also on his mind and he wanted to control something of unrivaled power. Set upon a fort surrounded by water, the grimoire which is a textbook of magic was used to summon a lessor demon. This entity wreaks havoc on all of the Nazi soldiers save the summoner and loves to eat the fresh flesh of the soldiers. I loved the back story, setting and the pace of this horror flick. Surprisingly great movie considering that the cast is less then a handful but still shines.

Amityville horror is a great movie that makes you think, "What if the house is haunted by something worse?" Newly weds by their dream house which is just within range of their budget. Various murders were committed in the house but it is okay since the real estate agent forgot to mention it. When the couple moves in they start to experience strange occurrences and after consulting a psychic they thrust in the right direction. The house sits on top a gate to hell and it must be closed. The feeling of foreboding never decreases.

The Amityville Horror favorite quote: While Carolyn is possessed, she says "Find the well... it's the passage... to hell! COVER IT!"

Drag Me to Hell was so funny and is written and directed by Sam Raimi (The Evil Dead). An old woman gets evicted from her home and holds the loan officer responsible. The loan officer has a supernatural curse put on her and this hex is vile. She seeks out a seer for help to get rid of the curse and demons ensue. We even have the joy of seeing a demon possessed goat. Filled with death scenes that are over the top and gory.

Drag Me to Hell favorite quote: "You tricked me, you black-hearted who-o-o-o-o-ore! You b-i-i-i-i-i-i-i-itch!" says the possessed goat. I mean really, a possessed goat.

Case 39 was totally under rated and deserved a little more shine. We have a kind woman who works in cases of domestic abuse towards children. She has 38 cases currently that she is working on when she gets Case 39. She visits the family and gets a weird feeling from the parents. The child calls her and she finds the family about to do terrible things to her. The parents get committed to prison and psyche wards. The child is then adopted but weird things start to happen. People start dying and when she visits the father. She gets the chiller dialogue below... creepy. This scary movie tries to touch on the realism of horrors committed to children and then entangles you in a great plot involving demons.

Case 39 has a great quote: Edward Sullivan says "They say when you're born you're given your eternal soul. The part of you that lives on, lives again. Whatever evil she is, didn't come from us. It was already there. From the moment she came into being, she brought something with her. Something older, destructive. Soul of a demon."

The Exorcist is my all time favorite horror movie as well so of course it would be the best demon horror movie. Everyone knows the iconic peas soup and spinning head scenes that is just why The Exorcist is such a classic horror movie. I saw the updated version where the little girl comes walking down the stairs upside down truly demonic and sinister like a proper demon. A head of the times and still loved today. After the result of demonic possession, a priest is called in to perform an exorcism on the little girl. The results as many of us know, are alarming and reminds us that evil forces are more then just fairy tales to keep little children in church.

Demon from The Exorcist says: "What an excellent day for an exorcism," says the demon to the priest. Demons love to mess with your head in every way possible.

These demon movies are in my opinion the best horror movies. Hard to only choose ten but I tried to make a well rounded out list without repeating what is already out there. For a great scare, you need to see a good demon film!

The Fall season of horror TV shows warrants a nice must see list. We have a lot of new shows in this top list. In the list of returning shows we have The Walking Dead (AMC), The Vampire Diaries (CW), Supernatural (CW), True Blood (HBO) and Being Human (Syfy). Adding to the lineup we have Teen Wolf (MTV) and Death Valley (MTV). Worth mentioning are The Ringer (CW), Fringe (FOX), American Horror Story (FX), Terra Nova (FOX), Grimm (NBC), The Secret Circle (CW), Dexter (Showtime), Haven (Syfy), Warehouse 13 (Syfy), Todd and the Book of Evil (Fearnet) but not really up there in my top rated list but you might want to watch them.

The Walking Dead Season 1 was so good that anyone that watched it just loved it. Zombies running loose all over America and the episodes where we go to the city are just awesome. Fast paced zombie mayhem with great visuals and the settings always make you feel like it is a worldwide epidemic. The season finale left us with the zombie fighting crew traveling to the Center for Disease Control and the actions that took place there. Season 2 "announced that the second season will feature Grimes' group of survivors leaving Atlanta for the countryside, including the Greene family farm, a setting in the comic book series."

Season 3 of The Vampire Diaries started with "The Birthday" and immediately kicked us with a gory Stefan who is dubbed "The Ripper." Why, because when he gets into the vampire sucking crazed mode, he drinks so deeply that he just pops the heads off his victims. Stefan is paired with the evil hybrid vampire-werewolf Klaus. Elena and Damon are searching for Stefan in their own ways. Rumors say Caroline and Matt may have some steamy scenes while there is major sexual tensions between Caroline and Tyler. Jeremy is seeing ghosts of his old girl friends. Looks like we are going to have a great Vampire Diaries season.

Supernatural was thought to end at season 5 but due to horror fans demand, CW simply just went along and extended the TV series. The season finale ended with Cass becoming God. This season promises to unleash an all out war in heaven with the continuing war with hell. Will heavens forces be too preoccupied with their civil war to notice hell winning the war. I can't wait to see where the Winchester brothers tie into all the pandemonium.

True Blood has become a serious over the top favorite of mine with all the gory scenes, crazy sex scenes, nudity and in your face action and dialogue while still staying true to the horror genre. Season 4 features vampires, werewolves, witches, an evil fairy race and shape shifters. What's next, zombies? This season so far has been a little less over the top and even featured the vampires Eric Northman and Bill Compton shooting a witch to death, vampire killing like the mob is a little low but let's see what happens in later episodes.

MTV comes out with the teen werewolf fix that we needed. Featuring lots of that romantic teens in love like Twilight that is popular today. Filled with great werewolf fights and werewolf hunters with a story line that leaves you guessing who the Alpha werewolf really is. Scott contracts the werewolf virus by getting attacked in the woods and must learn to harness his new powers, keep them hidden and get the hot girl in school. Friend Stiles is there to fill in the gaps with background information on werewolves and the cast really shines.

Based on the British show, Being Human features a vampire, werewolf and ghost living under one roof trying to fit in and continue with life. Being Human is Syfy's most successful winter season scripted series in six years.

Death Valley is MTV's entry into the horror comedy niche and its funny as hell. Death Valley is about what happens when vampires, werewolves and zombies invade LA. We see first hand as we travel with the police like Reno 911 and see the funny skits of killing zombies, dealing with werewolves and vampires who trade sex for blood on the open market. The police officers have great scenes also of plain stupid moments and in my opinion bring everything together well.

Welcome to our Top 10 Horror Anime Picks including both anime movies and TV shows. Our Anime Top 10 includes Hellsing, Hellsing: Ultimate OVA, Highschool of the Dead, Kakurenbo: Hide & Seek, Vampire Hunter D: Bloodlust, Devil May Cry, Blood+, Yu Yu Hakusho, Death Note and Berserk. Hellsing stars Alucard which is Dracula spelled backwards of course and just like Dracula, Alucard is a monster vampire. This master vampire creates a new vampire fledgling, which he has never done before in all his untold years and is a loose master at best. He protects his fledgling at the last moment. But enough of that, what makes Alucard a real bad ass is that he has no equal. Every vampire that shows their face gets decimated by Alucard. Fun and exciting and leaves you guessing what new power will he use this time.

Hellsing Ultimate OVA continues where the original anime leaves off but upgrades the art direction and graphics with major improvements and vibrant colors. The scenes are in your face gruesome and crazy as hell. Alucard ups the intensity with an even darker mood and theme that takes Hellsing into new levels of horror. Too bad this series didn't see more episodes but you definitely need to see these episodes.

Highschool of the Dead was actually recommended by Netflix and I said what the hell, let's see a zombie horror anime. I was totally shocked by the enjoyment I had with this anime. Like most animes, this one comes from a popular manga but is very close to the manga. We start off at the high school and are characters are immediately exposed to the virus plague creating these zombies. With great characters that are both funny and exciting, this horror anime is extremely recommended to all. There was never a dull moment way in most animes, you have this huge lag period where characters are sharing some huge back story, not here. Battles with the zombies and humans are great and there is lots of guts getting knocked around. Season 2 is on everyone's tongue once they see this anime and I am one of the fans, we may see something before 2011 ends, can't wait.

Kakurenbo is yet another Netflix recommendation where children are in a dismal town that is so immensely terrifying that the fear oozes from every character and that fear transfers to you, the viewer. Kakurenbo: Hide and Seek is a 1 episode anime that gets increasingly scarier as the story progresses. We see numerous Japanese Demons and they are huge and gruesome to see and leave a lasting impression.

Vampire Hunter D: Bloodlust is what the original Vampire Hunter D made in 1985 should have been. Based on the popular Vampire Hunter D novels and manga, this vampire hunter is hired to bring back a kidnapped girl taken by a vampire. D for Dracula presumably, I am still reading the horror novels, faces off against other vampire hunters, a race of warriors who are closer to monsters then any human and his very own step-mother, The Queen of All Vampires Carmilla. Vampire Hunter D has his hands full in this installment and can't wait for a third movie.

Devil May Cry comes from the popular video game series tru to the franchise, delivers a kick, laugh and a few bad ass moments that only Dante can deliver. Dante is our hero who just can't be beat and does it all in such an ease that we are left wondering just how powerful is this guy. Dante takes on huge monsters that claim to be the worst demon in hell with nothing more then a stylish execution of pain and punishment. Duel wielding his favorite sword and gun, he is a true demon who is in fact the offspring of Sparta, the great demon of hell.

Blood+ is the immense story of Saya. First introduced to us in Blood: The Last Vampire, we get to see the back story of how Saya came to be and exactly what she is fighting for. Saya has a twin sister in which she must put down because she has zero value for anyone or anything and will bring about the total destruction of mankind if left alone. Saya's blood alone is the only thing that can kill her sister and her sisters' guardians. A bit slow at most instances but really picks up extremely fast in the end when the final battle ensues.

Yu Yu Hakusho is here at the Top Horror Anime List because of it's great storyline and characters who really grow on you. Yusuke is our hero who possesses a spirit gun power which evolves into a spirit shotgun like power. Yusuke has a great team who are not just tag along characters but who also progress the story in great ways. Hei is one of favorites as well because he is the real bad ass of the bunch who carries a sword. Trying not to spoil the ending but the ending really takes the characters from high school bullies to a bigger destiny that has been laid out from the start.

Death Note has us cheering on a killer. This killer named Light has found a notebook in which any name written on it will kill that person in 40 seconds. The notebook belongs to a Shinigami (Death God) named Ryuk. Light begins killing off all criminals until he finally playing mind games with an extremely intelligent detective with the help of the top minds of the police force, including Light. Light must keep himself out of the focus while still carrying out his killing spree. A nice change to the regular horror genre. Throw in another notebook/user and we have all a great storyline.

Berserk is one of my favorites as well and one of my first full anime series that I watched. Berserk tells the tale of Gatts, an incredibly powerful warrior who loses a battle with Griffith who holds the powerful pendant called the Eye of God. Gatts and Griffith travel together and build an incredible army in which Griffith is the leader but that is when all goes totally crazy. Griffith becomes a crazy mad man who cares not for anyone and with the power of the pendant transforms himself into a bringer of death. In this transformation, he abuses the only woman that Gatts has ever loved and tries to kill Gatts with the help of his new army of monsters. Gatts goes insane with rage and destroys everything in sight but loses Griffith as he runs away. Now Gatts trails Griffith with one goal in mind, destroy his former best friend at whatever cost for the betrayal and evil he has left behind.

Just thought we should remind everyone that Straw Dogs is opening in theaters September 16. As a big fan of True Blood, I am looking forward to seeing Alexander Skarsgard the most. Don’t count Kate Bosworth and James Marsden out as they are in the forefront of this battle between locals and strangers. Kate looks like she will be showing off that sexy little body, not quite a horror vixen or scream queen but lets see what happens.

Straw Dogs seems to be a gripping movie from the movie trailer. A young couple relocates from L.A. and the hometown of screenwriter David Sumners' wife is our destination. In the deep south, this should be the prime place for David to work. But as the movie trailer emphasizes, true brutal horrors await. You can count on me watching Straw Dogs in theaters.
