In 2002, Sanrio hit a kawaii home run when it released its newest character Cinnamonroll (initially known as Baby Cinnamon). We instantly fell in lubb with Cinnamonroll's floofy ears and curly-bun tail. Especially after seeing this promo vid. It's been around awhile and even was turned into a real toy that performed the same dance and song. But seeing Cinnamonroll rock it out kawaii-style is still kyoot today.

Cinnamonroll even had his own movie! Check the trailer...

Ok, we were cruising around the web and nearly fell off our chairs when we saw this totally kawaii HK touchscreen phone! It features HK decorating the back of the phone and all the interface icons. It even has LED buttons on the side that display adorable icons and messages! Lubb it!! We MUST have.

We at Hello Kawaii. absolootley luv the fantastic illustrations in the adorable children's book, Polar Bear Night. So guess how excited we were to find out from the Drawn! blog that iconic illustrator Stephen Savage has also designed these super-kawaii lunch totes called Munchables. Author/artist, Ralph Consentino has created the cutest character: "Honk-Honk-Ashoo" - a softie-headed pillow guy with a dog named "Swella-Bow-Wow." So kawaii!! The book and plushie are supposed to be available at Target, but we have only seen the products for purchase online. Check out the cutie-patootie website for Honk-Honk...the music makes our tummies giggle...

Electroplankton is one of the cutest games and unique games I have seen in a long time. Interactive media artist Toshia Iwai created this Nintendo DS game in which players move a series of "plankton" creatures to create music. The music sounds futuristic and drip-droppy. We found it strangely calming.

The site features short video clips of the game. It also has wallpaper and screensavers you can download.

What a silly question! Of course it can! Just ask Ngoc, owner of the Cooking Cute site. She demonstrates how to make and pack the most delectable bento boxes. Great recipes and resources for those of us whose tummies cannot take wheat or gluten. Now all we need is a Chococat bento box...

And speaking of cute food, the artistry this Japanese mother displays in creating bento boxes is amazing. I see why she has a blog recording her creations...wonderfully kawaii...
