Meet Kitsu. Kitsu is a 6 month old Shiba Inu. I met Kitsu at the Oakland Museum Off The Grid, where I ate some Curry Up Now. Kitsu is very friendly and enjoys being held. Meet Roxy. Roxy is a French Bulldog! I met Roxy while Jonathan and I were biking up to the Golden Gate Bridge. I’m posting several more photos than I usually do, because I think that the story these photos tell is adorable. It took her a few moments to warm up to me and let me pet her.

Meet Cogswell. Cogswell is a Corgi. I met Cogswell at a park by Lake Merritt, where we were both attending a book swap for my friend Lo’s birthday. Cogswell was more interested in his human than getting pet by a stranger.

Did you notice Tanuki in the background? He might be featured in a dog post soon.

Stash Busting Update

Wow, it’s been a while since I’ve posted a non-dog blog. My stash busting has grinded to a halt as work picked up in April. I also started knitting a sample of Kira K’s Sawtooth Skirt, which needs to be done by June 15.

I did finish up all of the cotton yarn though. I managed to make another 15 scrubbies with the remaining yarn.

I also knit my way through some of my Noro Maiku, with Caitlin ffrench’s shawlette pattern S even and Zero.

Booger

Meet Booger. Booger is a Chihuahua. I met Booger at the Happiness Hotel in Oakland, where Jonathan and I went to see a murder mystery dance. Booger has a weird hairless patch on his belly that I enjoyed rubbing.

Asterisk and Napolean

Meet Asterisk and Napolean. They are both Boston Terriers. I met them while walking through Mountain View Cemetery in Piedmont. Asterisk is still a puppy and was very excited to have somebody petting him. I got them all riled up and left them with their human.

Meet Josie. Josie is a pug! I met Josie while driving past her human’s garage sale. Jonathan and I were taking the side streets home from Ace, where I purchased an ironing board. Josie was shedding a lot, but I didn’t mind.

Peanut Butter

Meet Peanut Butter. Peanut Butter is thought to be a Chihuahua/Dachshund mix. Peanut Butter hangs out at the doggy daycare my friend works at. He was going home with her to hopefully find a new home with potential adopters he was meeting the following day. Peanut Butter’s sister, Jam, had already been adopted.
