I got to attend a special viewing of the Terra Cotta Warriors -
Guardians of China’s First Emperor, which is on exhibit at the Houston Museum of Natural Science between May 22, 2009 - October 18, 2009.

Our Flickr Group had special permission to photograph the exhibit. What an opportunity! Thank you HMNS and Erin!

Exhibition made possible by the Shaanxi Provincial Cultural Relics Bureau and the Museum of the Terra Cotta Warriors and Horses of Qin Shi Huang, Peoples Republic of China with the Houston Museum of Natural Science in cooperation with The Bowers Museum and National Geographic Museum.

After you’ve seen the exhibit, why not go to Houston’s own Forbidden Garden in Katy? Its an outdoor museum that boasts 6,000 terra cotta soldier replicas!

Matt and I found out we are having another boy! Mason will be sooo thrilled to have a brother to tackle with!
