Down 5.5 pounds already!! I have just by lowering carbs and choosing the lower glycemic foods. I have gone to gym only twice in the last week but did the Wii fit for about 30 minutes on 3 other days. It certainly helps that hubby is also in the same boat...sure makes it much easier when everyone in the house is following the low glycemic / low carb plan. Woo! HOO...doing the happy dance..Hmmm

Went to the gym for the second time this week....miracle unto itself. So it happened..I went and established with a new family doctor as the old one's office was just too far and not easy to get to anymore. First thing they make you do is stand on the scale. I did that and am COMPLETELY fed up with my weight. It happened..now it is time to lose the weight. No more excuses. Went to the gym and am starting out slow. We went and spent the night at Blue Spring State Park. (see link over on the right) I had booked a cabin before we left on our trip. The cabins are absolutely beautiful! We were all amazed. So wish that we could have stayed longer. Princess was thrilled that she got to see so many manatees in the spring.

My sister T and her soulmate B were joined in a beautiful ceremony yesterday. There were many tears of happiness for both of these wonderful ladies. The love that was palpable during the ceremony was beautiful. I don't care what your religious beliefs are...if we are lucky enough to find someone who loves us unconditionally, you should be allowed to spend the rest of your life with them.

Well this economy completely sucks. I had my meeting today and my job is saved BUT I had to take a pay cut. I am now back to making my 2001 wage and doing more work to keep it. At least I am still employed. (((sigh)))) Is it time to think about going back to school?
