You can dump the database into a file using: 
 
  mysqldump -h hostname -u user --password=password databasename > filename 
 
you can restore the info to the database again using: 
 
  mysql -h hostname -u user --password=password databasename < filename

'My ipod has done this many times, and it has worked until now. My ipod freezes about 2-3 times a day (I use it a lot while walking to classes around campus...). Now, I plug it into my computer and the recharging battery symbol freezes, and I have NO idea what to do. Basically I wasn't in the vboxusers group:

1) Check if your username is in the group:

cat /etc/group | grep v*box

2) If it isn't add it and logout/login.

sudo usermod -G vboxusers -a YOURUSERNAME

You need to add the galileo update site first:

1) Help > Install new software > Add

2) "Galileo Update Site" : http://download.eclipse.org/releases/galileo

3) Go back to plugin manager and try again
