Kaspersky is always one of the best security application suites since the day I knew computer and threats from malware. Since 2007, I used to Kaspersky to protect my online activities from being hijack, stealing confidential information and so on. Recently, this renowned vendor has released its newest products: the 2012 version of Kaspersky. Here I want to do a brief review of this awesome product and bring you a small tips regarding activation this application using a key file instead of activation code.

Kaspersky Internet Security 2012 and Kaspersky Antivirus 2012 as well is still in beta phrase but from now onwards, you can start using this application with new interface and a range of new useful features in which are Windows Sidebar gadget, Task manager. However, in general, KIS 2012 has the same core features in the previous one such as Scan, Virtual Keyboard, Application Activity, Safe Run for Applications, Network Monitor, Digital Identity Protection, Parental Control, Safe Run for Applications Websites.
I have tried to test span of scanning time on KIS 2012 beta. The result is definitely better than KIS 2011. It takes 34 minutes to scan a hard disk 47 GB (26.5 GB in usage) and takes 75.7 MB of RAM.
How to activate Kaspersky 2012 via license key
One of the best news for you is that Kaspersky Labs allows you to register 3 months trial subscription freely. However, like 2010 version, Kaspersky Labs doesn’t allow you to activate the Kaspersky 2012 via license key file. In case you do not remember the activation code, just follow the simple steps to activate Kaspersky 2012 license.
1. Turn of your Internet Connection (In the below right connect, click on the Network icon and choose Disable or Access Start à Setting à Control Panel à Network Connection, then Disable Internet access).

2. On Kaspersky Internet Security 2012 Beta, click on“Insert your activation code here” one the right corner. Then click on Activate the application button.

3. Check on Activate commercial version box, then fill up with any number on the Enter activation code field (such as 1231234567, for example:-P). Click on Next.

4. Waiting for few seconds. You will get a notification that informs you don’t have an Internet connection “Internet connection is missing”. Then, you just need to click on Browse in the Key file field and browse the key on your hard disk to activate Kaspersky Internet Security 2012 Beta.

5. Enable your Internet Connection. Update KIS 2012 beta data and scan your computer now.
Note: If you have already activated the trial key (90 days), then click on the red X symbol next to License number to remove the old license.

Remove the old applications
Settings / Application mgr. / Installed Apps
Remove anything you may have installed. In the app manger under installed apps look for 'InternetAdvSetting' or anything that begins with 'SipSettings*' etc. Get rid of them both.
Install 'InternetAdvSettings' by Nokia
You can download the file here.
This file has been extracted from the latest 'SIP_VoIP_3_x_Settings_v2_0_en.sis'. This original file will not work as a standalone installer - but one of the parts within it solves the issues, we have supplied the extracted part for you.
- Download the file above or click here
- Extract 'sis' installer from the ZIP file
- Install the SIS File on your Phone (it is SIGNED by NOKIA so it is SAFE)

Create your SIP profile
Settings / Connectivity / Admin Settings / Sip Settings / New Sip Profile
Name your Profile something you like, such as 'VOIP' - this will be the name it shows up under contacts. For example if you named it 'VOIP' when under a contact it will display as 'VOIP Call'. For a typical install see the bottom of this page. Set the Transport Type to UDP if calls are not working over 3G !
Create a VoIP Service
Settings / Connectivity / Admin Settings / Net Settings / Advanced VoIP settings / Create new Serivce
In order to actually use the SIP profile created in Step 3 you must Create a VoIP service. To do this select 'Create new service' and then select the Profile you created in Step 2. This will add a new item under 'Net settings' if you named your profile 'VoIP' it will show up as 'VoIP Sett'.
Adjust your Codecs
Connectivity / Admin Settings / Net Settings / Advanced VoIP settings / Voip Servies / <your profile> / Codecs /
If you know that your SIP provider supports G.729 then move that codec up to be #1 in the list - this should be self explanitory. If you don't know what you are doing, skip this step!
Enable SIP over 3G
Connectivity / Admin Settings / Net Settings / Advanced VoIP settings / Voip Services / <your profile> / Profile settings
To enable SIP Calls over 3G set both 'AWCDMA' and 'UAWMAC' to ON. Note that you will be charged for data when using 3G - and your phone should warn you when doing so.
Make SIP Calls look pretty in your Call Log
Connectivity / Admin Settings / Net Settings / Advanced VoIP settings / Voip Services / <your profile> / Profile settings
If you only want to see the callers number in your Call Log you can set a parameter that will strip the domain name out of the number calling you. Say the number (555) 123-4545 calls you on your SIP line:

The problem is if you have 'Ignoring Domain Part = Off' it is impossible to call back from say your mobile number or add the number to your address book. For that reason it is best to set this to ON.
Prevent your SIP Client from TIMING OUT with the Server (STUN Server)
If you notice that after a few minutes and you can no longer receive calls you likely have a timeout issue. This can be fixed by using advanced settings and setting up a STUN server.

But you don’t worry if you are having the same problem…as now there is a much simple and easy way out.

Requirement: You need a file explorer like FExplorer which you can download from here.

How to Unlock MMC card:

Method 1:

Insert card into your phone but don’t access it through phone.
Run FExplorer and Open the path C:\system.
You will find a file called mmcstore ,rename the file mmcstore.txt
Copy that file(mmcstore.txt) to your pc and open that file in notepad.
You will find your password in that file.
Method 2:

Applicable to all nokia phones which are s60 2nd or s60 3rd edition series phones.check out here.

Ok I found this other guide which is more easy for newbies to follow. I ahvent checked it on my 6600. Will do the testing soon. Those of you on N-gage & 3650 please try too and post a new topic outside this FAQ section about how it is.

this will work on most s60 phone I guess! it has been tested on an NGAGE and on N3650!

step 1:
Creating an access point on your phone!

tools\settings\connection\access points\options\new access point>default settings...

these are the settings u need there..

Connection Name : Anything (sugestion ADLS or PCGPRS something u remember well cuz u'll need it later!)

Data Bearer: GPRS

Access Point Name: The name you gave to your bt connection when pairing up with the computer...

Username : None

Password : No

Authentication : Normal

Gateway IP Address : 0.0.0.0

and that's all on this on this part..

then go to:

tools/settings/connection, and select GPRS

set the GPRS connection to "when available", and the access point to "none".

The settings on your fone are done! now... the next step;

Create a serial port connection from ur pc to ur phone (u've done this before if u ever used Pcsuite from nokia), this serial connection must be on everytime you want to use your pc internet connection as a gprs connection for ur phone!!

Install the software u need to surf the web (opera, netfront, agile messenger for chat, etc..)

My advise to you is to use netfront, the options are pretty cool and it uses less memory meaning u can still run other program such as agile at the same time (it crashed my 3650 when I tried to do it with opera)..

Voil? ur ready to use ur phone to surf and chat for free!!

How To Unlock And Hack Memory Card When You Forget Your Memory Card Password

Some times it happens that you forgot the password of your memory card and you have lots of your important data in your phone.

So there are two types of methods for recovering the password of your memory card with the help of nokia phone.

For Nokia s60 1st and 2nd edition phones.

1. First Install FExplorer in your phone memory.

2. Got to drive C: , you will find a file called mmcstore

3. Send it to your pc directly and open it in notepad or rename the file.

4. At the end of the file you will find your password.

For Nokia S60 3rd Phones, Nokia N-Series and Nokia E-Series

There is almost no way yet known to hack the memory card password in case of these types of phone but there is a way to do it some of the s60 3rd edition phones and almost all the E-series phones.

The remote lock option in E-Series phone allws you to unlock your phone by sending a sms.

The only thing you have to do is to activate this feature by going to Tools | Settings | Security | Phone and SIM | Allow remote lock menu. The password of your memory card will be your remote lock message.

So you have to just send a sms containing your remote lock message that will automatically change your memory card passsword.
