<p>Chris Webb is an executive editor in the Professional/Trade division at John Wiley &amp; Sons, Inc. where he develops new titles and series for technology imprints. He primarily programs titles for the <a href="http://www.wrox.com/">Wrox</a> imprint as well as books in the <a href="http://www.wiley.com/go/pcmag">PC Magazine</a> and <a href="http://www.wiley.com/go/extremetech">ExtremeTech</a> series.</p>
<p>Webb started his career in 1994 as a programmer and consultant for universities, hospitals, banks, and other financial institutions. In 1998, he entered technology publishing at Macmillan USA (now Pearson) and then IDG Books, Hungry Minds, and John Wiley &amp; Sons.</p>

<p>As a professional journalist, Ford currently writes the weekly column &#8220;From Beaver Dam to Boston&#8221; for The Ohio County Times-News. He won the Kentucky Press Association award for best feature story in a weekly newspaper for his work with The Greenville Leader-News.</p>

<h3>Biography</h3>
<p>Raph Koster got started in virtual worlds back in the days of the text MUDs in the early 90s, working on <em><a href="http://www.legendmud.org/">LegendMUD</a></em>. He was creative lead on the original <em><a href="http://www.uo.com/">Ultima Online</a></em> and lead designer for UO Live and <em>Ultima Online: The Second Age</em> while working for ORIGIN and Electronic Arts.</p>
<p>Koster then went on to be creative director on <em><a href="http://www.starwarsgalaxies.com/">Star Wars Galaxies</a></em> for Sony Online Entertainment, where he also served as chief creative officer for three years until 2006. He�??s the author of the acclaimed book <em><a href="http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/1932111972?ie=UTF8&#038;tag=heretic-20&#038;linkCode=as2&#038;camp=1789&#038;creative=9325&#038;creativeASIN=1932111972">A Theory of Fun</a></em>, and somehow finds the time to write constantly on <a href="http://www.raphkoster.com/">his popular blog</a>.</p>
