Hair Nightmare!!

BEFORE

I have been growing my hair out for a little over a year and a half (which has been a complete pain in my butt), my goal was to get it to my rear and I was just a couple inches from getting there! I must say I was doing such a good job (giving myself a pat on the back) I was doing everything I needed to as far as keeping it healthy and away from heat as much as possible. Well...one day I had a bright idea that I would get layers in my hair so that it would look like it had more volume! Being that I just moved to Memphis, TN I knew nothing about any of the hair salons out here. I tried the whole YouTube thing to see if I could figure out how to do it myself but I just didn't feel confident enough in myself to do it! I became a member at a local gym and with it they gave me a coupon to a salon for a cheap haircut, I figured I might as well do it. They have an amazing salon AND I was getting such a good price on it.
When I got to my hair appointment I had a bad feeling about it as soon as I sat down in the chair. You know that feeling you get deep down in the pit off your stomach? Yeah that one! I still went thru with it though, like a dummy. The stylist and I were talking and we were getting along and then I happened to look down and see how much hair was on the floor and my stomach immediately starting to hurt! I was sick when I seen how she butchered my hair! She asked me if she wanted me to style it before I left and I said no but for some reason she curled it anyway. Might I add the curls were hideous! Before I left I had convinced myself that it wasn't that bad. I went home and straightened it to see if I could make it look better, there is just no hope! It looks like she cut all my hair off in the middle and left a few strands long! I am so disappointed and every time I look at it I instantly get in a bad mood!! UGH!!
