Goodbye Gallbladder

As requested! I originally designed this embroidery for a co-worker's triumphant return to work. I've had a flood of requests from the Instagram world since. Here is the anti-hospital gift shop option!

I designed and hand stitched this piece from start to finish. Gallbladder is stitched in apple green back stitches. Stitched in my home studio. All supplies purchased locally in Kansas City, MO. Gallstones are depicted by 3 teal french knots. "Goodbye Gallbladder" is back stitched in chunky teal thread on broadcloth fabric. Etsy listing here!

Large Scale Digestive System Diagram, Hand Embroidery.

My love for anatomy and medical diagrams stems from my day job where I am a Medical Case Manager. The connection with our body can sometimes be taken for granted until symptoms occur. Medical art is a fun way to celebrate the delicate inners that make up our bodies.

This large scale diagram is a one of a kind piece. The stitching itself stretches an incredible 11.5" x 8". The giant embroidery hoop measures at 15". The piece can be hung on a small nail or displayed on a mantel.

I spent my first 28 years living in the great state of Kansas. As a kid, I loved celebrating Kansas Day at school. My boyfriend quized me this morning on everything from the State bird (contrary to popular belief, it is not the Jayhawk) to the State motto. I've still got it! I'm looking forward to traveling down the long stretch of I-70 this weekend to visit my family in Western Kansas. This embroidery piece and custom options are available in my Etsy shop and were previously featured in the Ink Kansas City 2011 Etsy Gift Guide.

* All orders are shipped standard speed

* All orders will be processed and shipped from the studio within 2-3 days of your payment (excluding custom orders).

* Each item is wrapped in tissue paper and bubble wrap for safety during shipping.

Textured Owl Embroidery Art

This little woodland owl is a texture lover's dream. The little hoot owl was free handed and hand embroidered with thick back stitches in earth toned floss on grey cotton fabric. The direction and depth of the stitches give a feathered appearance. Stretched on a 3" wooden hoop. Wooden easel is included.

I stitched this little owl during my New Years Eve vacation in San Antonio, TX. All supplies were purchased in Kansas City, MO. He is truly a one of a kind as it will would be difficult to duplicate him.

Set of 2 Seigaiha Patterned Hoop Art

I acquired these remnants and could not let them go unused. This is a Seigaiha pattern, a good omen in the Japanese culture. This 2 piece collection makes a cute burst of color in a nursery or children's room. The art is permanently displayed on 3" miniature embroidery hoops.
