Is twitter becoming a defacto place to find out the latest celebrity death? Well maybe not, as there are other sites such as this dead or alive one. However the recent wave of celebrity deaths have (for me at least) all be found via twitter’s trending tool.

I found out about Michael Jackson’s departing via twitter, Farrah Fawcett and today another celebrity. Is twitter actually becoming the first virtual obituary? It could be at least in the sense that it is real-time. I hardly use news sites anymore due to twitter’s speed.

Probably pretty good I think… Bing.com has launched pretty well and sends traffic to me, so I am pleased, as the old msn/live/whatever the fuck it was called was useless. USELESS. TBH the only thing bing needs to do is improve indexing and crawling speed.

The thing bing.com did well was to re-brand effectively with a short domain name. This was ESSENTIAL. Soo many companies know fuck all about branding and its importance. What they should do (maybe even Google) is go read 22 immutable laws of branding - this is a great book on branding. Even numpties can get it.

I’m f’ing pissed at Apple. I made the mistake of updating to your f’ing 2.30.03 update on the iPhone 3g. It seems you only released that POS for the sole purpose of stopping Yellowsn0w from unlocking it. Well now I’m stuck with $800 brick again which btw I bought in the UK, but because Apple have this f’ing policy about locking it to a phone provider It’s gone back in the wardrobe again. Well actually no. I’m using it as an alarm clock you f’ing tw@ts.

What Apple fail to realise through their inept politics is people move around. In fact all the time. Global economy and village disparities are becoming smaller and less obvious.

So far I’ve managed to use this f’ing ‘SMART’ phone for about 2 months, prior to that I was paying international roaming fees by the f’ing ton.

Thanks to the folks at YS I was able to use it on another local provider, that was until I updated to 2.2.1 and baseband 2.30. DO NOT UPDATE TO THIS VERSION.

Now looking forward I am waiting for the iPhone dev team to unlock vs 3.0 it seems. In the future I will double check before I download anymore crap from Apple sucks.

I think the best bet is to stick it on f’ing eBay and get rid!
