Happy Monday, friends!

Since it looks like we’re finally returning home to cooler weather in Texas, I thought it was a good time to share some new fall style finds I’m loving from Anthropologie. I’m always drawn to pieces that feel classic but still have a little personality, and Anthro does that so well.

Here are a few new pieces that are giving effortlessly chic fall!

My Go-To Travel Essentials

Cassie — Mon, 19 Oct 2026 09:00:00 +0000

Happy Monday, friends!

As we’ve been packing up to head home from our epic cruise around Japan, I’m realizing just how important certain travel essentials have been throughout this trip! You guys know by now… I take my travel game seriously! After two weeks of cruising and exploring, I can definitely say that having these staples on hand made things so much easier. It’s those small things that can make a big difference- helping you stay organized, avoid unnecessary stress, and spend more time enjoying the adventure.

After years of traveling, I’ve pretty much got packing down to a science — and since I’m a carry-on girl about 95% of the time, every item has to earn its spot. Hopefully, a few of these will make your next getaway a little easier, too!

Building a Capsule Wardrobe | Everything I Packed + Styled for Japan

Cassie — Fri, 16 Oct 2026 09:00:00 +0000

Happy Friday, friends, and cheers to the weekend!

We’re still cruising around Japan, and are absolutely smitten! This has truly been the most incredible experience. Make sure to follow along with us on my Instagram stories HERE, and in case you missed it, I shared a snippet of our first few days HERE!

I’ve had a lot of questions about my outfits on this trip, so today I’m sharing more about what made the cut! I wanted to create a capsule wardrobe with versatile pieces that could easily mix and match, keeping outfits comfortable for sightseeing and exploring, but still chic enough for dinners aboard the ship. When you’re living out of a suitcase for multiple weeks, having pieces that work together makes getting dressed so much easier!

Here is what made the packing list, and how I styled each outfit to work for both day and night…

My Packing List //

I wanted to focus on three things when packing for this trip: color, comfort, and versatility! I made sure to pack pieces that felt fun and reflected my personal style while still being practical for travel. Comfort was key for all the walking and sightseeing, and versatility was a must so I could mix and match pieces to create different looks without bringing my entire closet. The goal was to pack smarter, have fun with my outfits, and make every piece in my suitcase work a little harder!

sweaters // Purple Sweater | Pink Sweater | Striped Cardigan | Brown Cardigan | Beige Sweater

jackets // Plaid Jacket | Rain Jacket | Utility Jacket | Track Jacket

tops // Maroon Tee | Maroon Halter | Striped Tee | Polka Dot Halter | White Bubble Tee | White Crewneck | White Tank

sets // Navy Crewneck | Navy Pants | Brown Half-Zip | Brown Pants | Maroon Tank | Maroon Leggings
Brown Tank | Brown Leggings

pants // Wide Leg Jeans | Plaid Pants | Red Pants | Chartreuse Pants | Green Pants | White Jeans

dresses & skirts // Black Dress | Navy Dress | Floral Dress | Brown Dress | Maroon Skirt | Polka Dot Skirt

accessories // Hat | Gold Scarf | Pink Scarf | Brown Scarf | Pink Bag | Brown Tassel Bag | Woven Shoulder Bag
Chunky Beaded Necklace | Statement Earrings | Teardrop Necklace | Gold Hoop Earrings

shoes // Netted Flats | Clear Heels | Brown Sneakers | Beige & Black Sneakers | Beige & Green Sneakers

Styled Outfits //

Adding a different layer or switching up accessories made it easy to create a whole new look. It’s amazing how many outfits you can build when you choose pieces that work well together!

Purple Sweater | Pink Sweater | Plaid Pants
Gold Hoop Earrings | Woven Shoulder Bag | Brown Sneakers

Navy Dress | Purple Sweater | Pink Sweater | Plaid Jacket
Brown Sneakers | Beige & Green Sneakers

Be sure to follow along with my Instagram stories HERE to keep up with us on this amazing adventure. I can’t wait to share even more of our trip soon!
