ZigBee is being used in an ever increasing array of application and the breadth of capabilities of those applications is constantly increasing. Smart Metering is probably the application we hear the most about. All over the globe utility companies are replacing their existing metering infrastructure with new ZigBee enables Smart Meters. ZigBee had found it’s way into Home Automation, Healthcare, Lighting Control, 3D TV. You can see a full list here.

In my travels I’ve found there’s a lot of information out there, but it’s not always easy to find and it’s not always up to date.

So I decided to create this blog to share my experiences and hopefully act as a resource for others in the constantly evolving world of ZigBee.
