A Birth Story

I have been putting the blog off for quite some time now! Honestly I have just been too tired, too happy, and too consumed with trying to figure out this whole mom of two balancing act.

I frankly have just wanted to sit with my boys and do nothing.

It's been a great recovery time and honestly I feel better and better each day so I'm very happy about that.

Three long but short weeks ago we had our second baby boy! It was an amazing and totally different experience.

I had a scheduled c-section date for the 22 of April and just like the boy should, he stayed put and didn't want to come a day earlier. The day before (Sunday) the 21st. I went in to the University Hospital to have blood work done so that it would speed up the check in process the next day and help everything run smoothly. It was exciting and so weird to think that the next day guaranteed my boy was coming. I felt a million different emotions that night. One minute I was excited and the next I was bawling for no reason. I was feeling fear, excitement, guilt for leaving Mason (with my parents who he adores), overwhelmed, and flash backs to the last time that had me a little fearful.

We left Mason at my parents that night because we had a very early morning 5:30 to be exact and it was best to let him sleep there. I cried the whole way home feeling like I had abandoned my child and not knowing what was ahead of us. Sam and I did enjoy a quiet night together though talking about names, packing our bag, and talking over what life is going to be like!!

We arrived at the hospital a little before 5:30 and checked in at the Labor and Delivery wing at the University of Utah hospital. It was quiet and calm and we were of course greeted by the sweetest nurse (all of their nurses were AMAZING).

After changing and getting checked in we were able to just relax and wait until about 6:45 when the anesthesiologist would be in and then at about 7 we would head in for surgery. My experience with Mason wasn't bad in my mind...it was an emergency situation because he was stuck after an hour of pushing and he was under distress....so no having these two experiences I realized how chaotic and scary the first one was compared to this one.

After the anesthesiologist came in and talked to me about what we would be doing etc. They walked me back to the surgery room. I was fully aware of what was going on and casually chatting with all the doctors and nurses as they prepped me, A much different experience than last time. After I was prepped with the spinal and everything was set to go the surgery began. Everyone was so sweet and talking to me, explaining everything that was going on, making sure I was comfortable. It was great.

Sam came in shortly after and was able to watch (yes he watched and took pic's) of the entire thing.

After my doctor had the baby half way out all I could hear him say was "wow this is a big boy" " this is a BIG boy" "beautiful he's just beautiful".

They got the baby wiped off and weighed and then quickly brought him over to me. He was beautiful and cried for maybe a minute which has been his personality so far! He was a big boy weighing in at 8lbs 5oz. and 19 inches long. How he fit I have no idea. I thought the same thing about Mason.

They let the baby stay with me and Sam throughout the rest of the surgery and into the post pardum room. Which was also so different from last time. With Mason he was taken straight to the nursery to be monitored and I didn't see him for well into the day. This time baby didn't leave our side once which was awesome.

The whole time I just kept thinking this was to easy?! Are we sure we had a baby?!

They later took us to our room where we rested for a bit before family and Mason came to visit baby brother. It was awesome to see little Mason and his excitement to see us and the baby. It was short lived with the baby but that's ok. I can't even imagine the thoughts that were going through his little mind.

The rest of the stay at the hospital was great. Baby boy latched well and is honestly the sweetest thing. We didn't hear him cry for the first couple of days! He has this easy and calm demeanor about him. He hardly cries unless he is super uncomfortable ie: bath, or extremely hungry. Other than that he just squirms and kind of grunts.

It only took us until the night of the 3rd day in the hospital to come up with a name. So it goes, we are indecisive! But we think it fits him and his sweet little face perfectly.

He is beautiful and sweet and we are all completely smitten with him.

It has taken some adjusting for of us, especially Mason, but he quickly fell into his role as older brother. He has started acting bigger, he helps me whenever he can, and loves to let me know when the baby needs "baby milk!!". It's been fun to watch and experience. I know their bond will only get better.

I'm recovering well, the first two weeks were exhausting but now we are cruising, even venturing outside, to dinner, and Target. It's hard, but easier at the same time. It's been blissful and exhausting as well.

We are all just enjoying each other and this new little spirit in our home.

Last Ever Baby Bump Pics- 39 Weeks

It's true...the bump is about to be no longer.

I go in bright and early Monday morning to have this little babe and we finally get to see our nameless little boy! I couldn't be more excited but fear and anxiety are starting to creep in.

I'm nervous for surgery, I'm nervous to be a mom of two. I'm nervous about pretty much everything. But I know everything will be ok and just like with Mason....it all works out and you figure it out as you go.

The last week has been the longest week as I've anxiously been counting down the days. It doesn't help that I've had the worst allergies of my life which add an extra element of tired to my already tired state. But overall I have felt great and have been blessed with an easy pregnancy. I haven't been too uncomfortable, I've stayed close to the same weight as I did with Mason, and I didn't swell this time! Thank heavens! My body does feel tired though. I could sleep all day and not bat an eye. So that's what I'm going to do this weekend, sleep relax, and just enjoy these last little moments with just the three of us.

So farewell baby bump...I will not be missing you....well maybe for a split second but I'm really just excited to have our little baby here!

Happy 3 Birthday (Party) Mason!

His birthday isn't until the 23rd but I'm scheduled for my C-Section the 22nd so we thought we should celebrate before! Last weekend we decided to do a little party for Mase with just a few friends and family. He of course LOOOOVED every minute of the attention being all about Mason.

He had been counting down till his birthday for quite a while so I think he was a little shocked when it was finally time. He had been telling me for months he wanted a "banilla, lellow, sprinkle, mickey mouse cake" and you bet that's what the boy got.

He happily sang Happy Birthday to himself, and ran around the entire night with a balloon tied to his hand. He is your typical spunky, naughty, but so sweet little 3 year old.

I'm still in shock he's 3.

He's the sweetest, SMARTEST little stink around. He loves his family and friends, and loves to always have a good time. He could spend all day outside and I don't think there is a sport he doesn't "love". He has the best imagination, I love listening to him play pretend upstairs by himself.

He's amazing and wonderful and I'm so lucky to be his mom.

I love you to the moon Mason. You are my best little friend, my greatest joy and accomplishment. Keep being the amazing and loving boy that you are.

First T-Ball Game!

After Mason's game on Saturday I turned to Sam in the car and I said "we have a kid, no more baby, no more baby/toddler..he is a kid!" We have practices and games now. My mind was blown at how fast the past three (in a week) years have gone! My big kid has big important games now...like his first T-ball game with his team the Rangers. It was probably one of the more hilarious moments as a parent, that's for sure. I couldn't help but laugh as I watched these tiny little bodies chase and dive after balls, skip to bases, and have verrrry important conversations in the dug out about who has the bigger shirt, who's a big boy, and why are not talking to me? It was amazing. I laughed the entire hour...but I couldn't have been more proud of my little man who hit the ball 3 times only 1 of those times he used the T. He only had two melt downs in the out field because he didn't get a chance to throw the ball, and he ran to all the bases looking like a champ with the biggest smile smeared across his face.

It was awesome!

There are more games to come and I can't wait, he also starts soccer this weekend which will be hilarious as well!

How funny is this picture! It's circa 2005 from the weekend Sam and I got engaged in Huntington Beach with my family.

We look like we are 12!! Who let us get engaged looking this young?!!!

Seriously, baby faced Sam doesn't look a day over 16 and my prepubescent swollen face looks 14.

In reality Sam was 25 graduated from BYU and I was the ripe old age of 19 in hair school.

Oh the good old days. ( I actually think we have gotten better looking with age!) Maybe I should thank Mason for the lack of plumpness (in multiple areas) and the crows feet and dark circles that are forming around my eyes.

WIWW: 37 Weeks-38 Weeks

All I can say is I'm still here...still alive.

No I feel good. The last couple of weeks are a little hard, I'm very large and uncomfortable and I keep getting the most random and annoying pain in my right leg. Every now and then baby decides to yank on a vein and my whole right leg just cramps up and goes numb. It's like a charlie hoarse in your pelvic area. It's funny looking (my reaction) but not fun.

I've had a couple false labors the past week....both times the contractions were 4 min. apart and about a minute long. Both times the contractions lasted 2-3 hours. The first time we called the on-call doctor because we were in Vegas and I was freaking out!! He told me to drink a lot of water, rest and if the pain got progressively worse to go in and get checked. Luckily/ (unlucky cause I'm ready ) the pain stayed the same...it never really got much worse, but never got better and then it just eventually ends.

I'm still feeling good though overall. This baby is definitely sitting much lower than Mason which puts a lot of pressure down there that I didn't experience last time.

I stopped working this week....I just couldn't handle the bending over, and standing on my feet. I'm a little sad about it. I love working and love my job....but I'm hoping I will be able to go back sooner rather than later. I've just got to see how I handle life with two!
I'm kinda freaking out now that it's starting to get so close and the reality of having two kids is starting to sink in. I'm so afraid of juggling two, managing Mason's feelings, no sleep, I don't know how we are ever going to make it out of the house, my recovery, will I ever get the hang of things, will I ever shower again?, how Sam and I will juggle everything, money, will I ever make dinner again?

You know the usual things.

But I also know what a blessing the sweet spirit of a new baby brings into the home and I'm so excited to see how Mason reacts towards his new little sibling.

It will all work out, people do it everyday. That's what I have to just keep reminding myself everyday.

Why Do Vacations Have to End?!

I think I have corrupted our son. He officially loves vacation as much as I do...and he hates coming home even more than I do. That is saying something. He had been asking to go to St. George for weeks....yes he was seriously asking....and we finally were able to make that happen over the Easter weekend. Sam was able to sneak away for the weekend, and Mason and I were able to extend our stay until the next weekend with my family. It was PERFECTO and really helped take my mind off of the baby countdown. Because you know how the last two weeks go...they don't MOVE!

We snuck away to Vegas Friday and Saturday night and stayed at our favorite place, Mandalay Bay. You really can't beat the pool if you have little ones. The beach and wave pool are so much fun, not to mention the lazy river and delicious vanilla shakes and chips and guac. What food? I'm never thinking about food.

We spent our days at the pool.....like ALL DAY...and soaked up ever bit of that desert sun. Then we hit up naps, and then ate dinner. Pretty uneventful...but pretty much perfect! To make it even better...since we frequently hit up the Vegas, we have a little "rewards" card. When my mom made the reservation she asked for two rooms with two beds in each room, so Mase had somewhere to sleep. Well Friday night they sold out of all their rooms with two beds...since we were members they upgraded us for FREE to a SUITE! It was pretty stinkin awesome. It was huge and over the top. But it was so much fun! Mason was running around the room screaming for the first twenty minutes "this is the best place ever!" He was jumping on the bed, the couch, and even made it to the dining room table at one point. What can I say...the kid loves vacay.

And he pretty much stayed that happy and excited the entire week. It was an awesome treat! We ate our chips and guac every day by the pool, hit up Grand Luxe and Yard House for dinner, drank pina coladas, took three hour naps and just acted like we were on vacation or something!

Sunday we headed back to St. George and had an awesome Easter dinner with family. We also did a little Easter egg hunt and opened baskets. Apparently I let everyone down this year by not buying enough Easter Chocolate! I didn't get the memo it was all riding on me this year....but apparently it was! Jada was in tears, Sam almost cried.....so my mom and I made up for it the next day buying all of it at 75% off at the grocery store. Sheesh people!

The rest of the week was spent swimming at the pool, riding bikes at the park, and even hitting up Fiesta Fun. I was able to relax my little booty and let Mason enjoy all the attention from Jada, Grandma,and Grandpa. It was so nice to have the help and really just enjoy the fun.

Mason cried on the way home...telling me "he never wants to leave vacation". He's not a homebody this one. I think it's safe to say we had a great week.

Now that I'm home baby is more than welcome to come at any time?! hint hint child

Almost there...almost there

We are going to St. George this weekend and I'm really excited to see what I'm going to be able to squeeze myself into. I don't own maternity shorts, I'm too big for my swimsuit, I have a couple maxi dresses, and I don't own a maternity t-shirt.

Hmmmm it will be verrrry interesting.

I kinda don't care though cause I get to sit outside, by a pool, in the sun...so slap a garbage bag on me, I'm good to go!

Baby's Nursery

Baby's nursery (still no name, not even the slightest idea) is finally complete. I love how it turned out for practically not buying anything! It's so simple and white....(I want my whole house to be white), and cozy. I feel like all we need now is a baby to put in it.

I really kept the nursery simple this go around, I just had no motivation to buy anything and put energy into it. I used pretty much stuff from around the house, printed off a few things, stole some of Mason's old stuff, and purchased just a few finishing touches. All in all I think I spent about $90 which I'm pretty darn proud of!

Ikea Hack

Today was a gettin shiz done kind of day! We (yes Mason included) cleaned the entire house...mop, vacuum, the whole shebang, did a million loads of laundry, went grocery shopping, and made dinner. I will pat myself on the back now thank you.

In the midst of that I for some reason decided to get crafty and this is what I whipped up.

I was at Ikea the other day and saw a cute wire photo line like this

(this one is by Umbra found on Amazon)

but of course I didn't buy it and instead of driving my big sorry self all the way back down to Ikea I just decided I would make my own.

This little craft was super easy and cheap....a win win in my book, It will seriously take you five minutes to make.

You will need:

Craft Wire

(something similar to this, purchased at any craft store....you can find some a little thicker)

(The one shown from Amazon and the one at Ikea are of course sturdier and can hold heavier pins/ photos/ papers etc. I knew I would only be using mine for Mason's artwork and photos...that is why the crafting wire works...but I would not suggest doing it if you are wanting to hang something heavier. )

4 nails

Clothes Pins

Spray Paint (optional)

Steps:

Measure how long you want the wire line to be

Cut the wire to desired length

Next wrap the wire (4-5 times) around the nail head on each end.

Nail into wall pushing the nail and wire flush against the wall.

Do this on both ends....try to stay level if you can. You can allow drooping in the wire if you would like...but since it's so thin I would pull it tighter but its up to you.

Next spray paint clothes pins on both sides ( I chose white and gold)

Then hang pictures

Maternity Pic

Sometimes I can coax husband into taking pictures of me. He has such an eye and really takes great photos.

I didn't want to do the whole maternity photo session but I did want to capture my little basketball baby.

As much as I want to be done, I really have loved being pregnant and have enjoyed every minute. It's gone extremely fast and I really have been blessed with an easy pregnancy.
It's a blessing to be able to carry a child and I don't take that for granted. I'm in awe of the human body and spirit...but I'm completly amazed by my Creator and his hand in all of this.

Sun

Finally a little bit of sun and warmth around here! I can't tell you what it does for the soul! We have been happier, the boy has slept better, and we haven't spent a second inside!

Last Tuesday we went to the park 3 times in one day! Not entirely on purpose...but the sun was shining on my face so I didn't care. We spent all week outside playing. I loved it. I know it's probably going to snow again in a hot minute but for now I'm enjoying this blessed weather.

.....p.s. We spent Saturday at the beautiful Sundance, enjoying the food and beautiful scenery and guess who we saw Robert Redford himself. How fitting right!

We were so happy to spend the weekend with family from out of town...hello Sara and Steve came all the way from NY, and share her birthday with her yesterday. I don't think it gets much better. Family, Fun, and Sun! Hooray!!

Not much to say other than I'm still here...still pregnant...and I think my stomach is splitting in two.

This week the skin on my stomach literally feels like it is splitting. I swear I can feel each muscle and tiny fiber of skin separating. It's disheartening and painful!

But I'm keep that old belly lubed up with coconut and vitamin E oil and hoping for the best.

I have actually been sleeping this week?! Who knew and feeling great. Maybe it's all this blessed sunshine that has my spirits up.

(sorry for the repeat of clothes but a girl only has so much to wear when they are packing a basketball under their shirt, and with 5 weeks left I refuse to buy more maternity clothes)

I'm having serious depression about all of the cute spring clothes that are out right now....and I can't buy any of it! (Sam's not complaining!) So many florals, and cute ankle jeans, stripes, and fun colors. I'm super jealous of all of you normal waist-ed people!

So go and buy something, for me, and let me live vicariously through you!

Old Navy

Always a gamble but when they are on they are on! (and everything always goes on sale!!!) So many fun bright things at Old Navy right now. I'm also loving all of their sheer blouses and RockStar Skinny jeans for only $19.95. (I attempted to squeeze my overgrown bun/belly in some the other day....was.not.pretty.)

WIWW: 32-33 Weeks

It's official April 22 is the day (a day before Mason's Birthday...but it's the best the Dr. could do....sad) We called the hospital yesterday to schedule the C-Section. This baby is full speed ahead. I will start going every two weeks now and I'm still in shock that we are to this point, but I couldn't be more grateful and excited!

I'm feeling great (all things considered), I really can't complain. I've been able to work out, I'm still working, and I haven't had any sickness, etc. that sometimes creeps up in the last trimester. Sleeping is eh. I still sleep better in the day then I do at night....which makes days when Mason wont nap a little rocky for everyone.

I do have wicked heartburn and multiple tums are needed before bed and about 3 am every night post roll over from the right side back to the left. But hey at least I'm not swollen yet (knock on wood) so I'm counting my blessings.

I will say round two you notice a lot more aches in the stomach/ groin region...ladies am I alone here?! What the heck?! I feel like I'm tearing muscles multiple times a day!

This boy is a movin and he's strong! Sometimes he gives me some swift punches to the bladder that make me questioning if I need to bolt for the bathroom. My stomach will randomly jerk around and he gets very jealous when Big Brother sits on my lap and puts pressure on my stomach. I feel him start to kick and punch Mason in the head. I ask Mase if he can feel it and he tells me "he doesn't want to right now". Brotherly love already.

My belly looks like it's attached to my boobs and I'm not quite sure how it can go any higher or wider, but apparently its going to, according to the Doc but what does he know!

Life is good and we are getting more and more excited for this guy to come....which is annoying because I think it's making time go slower. So maybe we should stop getting excited and just forget about this whole pregnancy thing ;).

Maybe a vacation would distract me? I don't it's just what I do best.

Crazy Train

I've always known we've been a little cray cray in this house...but it has been made even more apparent...if that's possible, the past couple of weeks. Add a giant pregnant woman, a snow storm, and the idea to start potty training to our crazy train and things are going to get a little CRAZY.

Two weekends ago I returned home from receiving a fabulous pregnancy massage (from the Garden Day Spa) which was the most relaxing and mucho needed thing on my list....anyways I returned home that morning to a wicked snow storm, and a husband that thought that was the day to start potty training. Uh huh.

Well whatever I was already crazy, Mason's only getting his last molars in and has been a total psycho, ya this sounds like a great idea. SO off we went. Luckily we've had the potty for a while. Check. I had bought him underwear a while ago luckily. Check. And I made a home made ghetto sticker chart right then. Check. Yup let's get started.

I will say Mason has been a trooper and done REAAALLLY well. I have mentally not, buuuut I'm finally relaxing and just going with the flow. We have been at this adventure for over a week now and he's doing awesome! Minimal accidents! Hallelujah cause I can't bend over, and he's pooped in the potty three times. That's amazing. That was my biggest fear, that he would get major constipated yada yada.
He is rockin pull ups at night because the boy still wakes up with poops sometimes and I'm not willing to clean up that mess. So progress. We are making actual progress! I'm so proud of my little man. I think he hates it (just the me asking him all day if he needs to go, but the kid wont tell me!), but I know he's really proud of himself too.
Today at the park I asked him a couple times if he needed to go potty, because it had been a couple hours and I knew an accident was headed our way, finally the poor kid said:

"mom will you just stop yelling at me.....sheesh".

A. I wasn't yelling....anything that involves what Mason doesn't want to hear is considered yelling &

B. Point taken little man.

We also have had some wicked snow which makes everyone have cabin fever and involves a lot of napping......but this week it has finally been nice and we have actually been able to go outside. SO the crazy train is staaarting to look a little less crazy and maybe a little more vitamin D happy?! Maybe?

After potty training, a busy week, an annoying child, and a hormonal wife we decided a date night was desperately in order. Luckily Mason has a Grandma (Grandpa was out of town) and Aunt who love to play with him any chance they can (they are crazy too :) and were willing to take him well into the night. It even started at 4 so I could go work out before our date. Ya, they are that cool.

The Mr. and I went to Canella's for dinner (you must go), had an amazing time, stuffed our faces with Rigatoni and Turkey Tetrazzini, oh and a gelato cookie sandwich for dessert. Um hmm.

and then because we are old farts and couldn't handle a 10:00 movie we decided to hit up the arcade so I could school Sam at basketball ( i really did), and skeeball, and all those crazy games.

It was just what the Dr. ordered to help with the crazy.

when bored give a child a balloon on a stick. Entertainment for hours. who knew.

let's get this potty training party started!

when bored throw child across bed into pile of pillows, next make home-made Go Pro camera by attaching Iphone to their head with duct tape, proceed to throw child across bed, and then make home video and post to YouTube. ( Sam's idea of boredom buster)

we even took Mason to Boondocks on his first night of potty training! See I told you we are crazy! By some lucky wishing star we had no accidents! The boy did great....minus the FULL blown tantrum while leaving. It involved a lot of "I never get to go there, never" and "Pull over right now I need a treat, RIGHT NOW", and "turn of the music, I hate this song, you can't listen to this song". Luckily we live close.

WIWW: 30-31 Weeks

I think the third trimester is catching up to me. I'm still feeling great and treating life as normal, the only thing is the insomnia is starting to kick in. Night time is tricky...I feel like I could stay up till 2 in the morning, but at the same time I'm totally exhausted. I've found I sleep better from 4-8 in the morning than I do at any other time in the night. I wake up never feeling rested...but I guess that's whats in store for me for the next little while anyways.

The bump is growing bigger and bigger everyday and I'm finding more and more clothes are having a hard time fitting! Baby boy is still a mover but it's become a little more relaxed and not quite as often. I still giggle every time I see my stomach randomly jumping and spasming.

I still love being pregnant I'm not to the completely uncomfortable stage...I just wish I could sleep, and that maybe my hormones would chill out a little bit....hello ornery. I'm sorry in advance to everyone who comes around me :)

The Weekend+ Valentines Day

It was a long holiday weekend which just happen to be my favorite. The weekends already go to fast so why not turn the dreaded Monday into an extra day. Perfection. I like where they were going with that idea....way to go Presidents Day.

We spent the weekend lounging, spending way too much time at the Mc Donalds play land (we are begging for spring), ate lots of delicious food (my cute aunt who is in culinary school made us a delicious feast), went to breakfast at Eva's Bakery downtown, saw a movie, hung out with friends, started Downton Abbey (and I'm totally beyond HOOKED!!) Sam played plenty of Halo, sheeesh what didn't we do!

Valentines even happened in there somewhere. I'm not the most festive, super cutesy mom, so the extent of my craftiness went as far as picking up sugar cookies from Cutler's and surprising dad at work. Mason was in the loving mood and couldn't help but shower dad with kisses.

Later that night Sam and I had a fabulous and oh so delicious dinner with friends at Market Street....one of our favorite restaurants. The clam chowder is ah.mahzing.

It was a wonderful love day and lazy weekend.

Swimmin

We have officially started swimming lessons. We have been to 3 lessons now and it's getting a tinsy bit easier. The first day Mason was pumped. P.U.M.P.E.D. He danced around the house in his suit, he was all kinds of jazzed. And then the lesson came and right off the bat she dunked him under the water...and well things have been down hill since then.

The lessons are awesome and they are private and I really do appreciate them just getting him right in and going...because this kid is a negotiator and he would argue with that poor teacher until her ears fell off so really there is no other option. But he hates it....yet loves it at the same time. I always ask him after if he had fun and likes swimming and he always says yes! he likes it....in between tears and cries of "I don't want to go under again". But I can also tell he's really proud of himself. He has this little grin on his face when he talks about holding his breath, but then he sees me start to get excited and goes back to his crying and "I don't want to go again". So I can't quite figure that out. I know he really is proud of himself I can tell and he sometimes practices in the tub which is really cute.

We will still keep going....and screaming through every lesson. I'm convinced he's going to like it one day!

Maternity Must Haves

I'm getting a littttle closer to the end...which is so crazy to think, but I've found a few things along the way that I just can't live with out. It's all about comfort and whatever makes you happy at this stage in the game!

Here are a few of my favorite things:

Maternity Dress H&M $14.95: This dress is SOOOO comfy..fits perfectly and for $15 you can't complain

MAMA Leggings H&M $24.95: I got the floral print and they literally feel like liquid. By far the comfiest leggings I have EVER put on. I wear them at least twice a week. It would be every day if I could.

Trader Joe's Charmingly Chewy Chocolate Chip Cookies: A perfect little snack. Only 8grams of sugar for two cookies and 130 calories. They are chewy and delish and as close to homemade as you can get.

TUMS: cause the heart burn has now set in and I'm chowing down on these every night before bed

Belly Belt by Fertile Mind $19.95: I have really liked this belly belt more than the belly band. I have been able to wear my regular jeans with out having to buy maternity jeans. It comes with two different sizes for early on in pregnancy to late. It's super comfy. I've really loved it.

Mama Bee Vitamin Oil by Burt's Bee's $16: I rub this vitamin E oil all over my belly and sides every night and every morning. I started doing in the minute I found out I was pregnant. I did this with Mason and (knock on wood) no stretch marks! The oil is very hydrating and moisturizing, vitamin E helps repair skin, and the aloe is soothing on your sometimes itchy stomach

Gilligan and O'Malley Full Coverage Bra $15: Uh for $15 you can't go wrong first off. Second this bra is soooo comfy! The straps are a little wider which I LOVE and are made out of a soft stretchy- nylon/spandex material, it provides full coverage, and the nude color goes perfect under anything.

Smashbox BB Cream $45: I loooooooooooove this stuff. I have had the WORST pigmentation this pregnancy (hello hormone mustache...my mom asked me the other day if I had spray tan stuck on my upper lip). I have crazy dark splotches everywhere, dark circles under my eyes, and a weird blood pimple thing. I'm a hot mess. This stuff is amazeballs and provides amazing coverage and leaves your skin with an illuminating glow. It's a must have pregnant or not. This little bottle surprisingly lasts a long time. A little goes a LONG way.

Liz Lange Open Sweater $24.48: Lets face it the more drape and comfort the better. I've been loving all my drapey and tribal print cardigans this pregnancy. Pair with a leggings and boots you can't go wrong (or flats for spring)
