Joomla is one of the best CMS to create a good website quickly and easily. Installation of Joomla is quick and easy. In this tutorial, the total installation of Joomla 1.7 will be discussed. The tutorial is created as short as possible because we would like to learn it quickly with simple steps.

Steps to install Joomla 1.7

Before installation Joomla 1.7, you need run a web server and a database server of your computer. For this tutorial, we use apache server and mySQL database for Joomla 1.7 installation. So, before starting the installation of Joomla 1.7, you have to confirm yourself whether the web server and the database server is running.

Note: My recommendation is that if you are not familiar with any web server and database, you may use XAMPP or WAMP.

Follow the following steps to install Joomla 1.7 of your computer:

Step 1: Download Joomla 1.7 [Joomla 1.7 download link] from Joomla website (www.joomla.org). After completing download extract it to the web folder. If you are using wamp then extract it to the www folder. At last, rename the extracted folder as joomlaSite.

Step 2: Open any browser and type http://localhost/joomlaSite and hit Enter key of your keyboard. Very soon the Joomla installation window will be appeared.

Step 3: Choose a language and click on Next button.

Step 4: Now, the pre-installation check for Joomla! 1.7 will be checked and you have to resolve all the supported issues form there and click on Next button.

Step 5: You have to agree the license of Joomla 1.7 installation window. And click Next button.

Step 6: In this step, you have to type all the fields of Database Configuration window. Fill the following field information in this page:
[a] Database Type: Choose MySQL or other
[b] Host Name: Type the host name. By default it is localhost
[c] Username: Type the database username. If you are using XAMPP or wamp, then this is root
[d] Password: Type the database password of that user if your database has any password.

After completing all these fields, click on Next button

Step 7: In this step, you need to configure the FTP Configuration of your Joomla 1.7 website. This is an optional step and you can skip this step and click on Next button.

Step 8: After completing all the above steps, you have to configure the Main Configuration of your Joomla 1.7 website. Fill the following field information:

[a] Site Name: Type the site name of your website. For example, we type "My Joomla Site"
[b] Your Email: Just type the email addres of your email. For example, we type hidemytips@gmail.com in this email field.
[c] Admin Username: Type the admin username in this field. For example, we type admin in this field.
[d] Admin Password: Type the password for that admin user.
[e] Confirm Admin Password: Just retype the admin password which you just entered.

Moreover, if you would like to install some sample data, click on Install Sample Data button to install some sample pages on your website. If you are a beginner of Joomla 1.7 then my recommendation is to install some sample data on your website otherwise you can skip this.

Completing these information, click on Next button to move forward for Joomla 1.7 installation.

Step 9: This is the last step of installation of Joomla 1.7. You have to remove the Remove installation folder to finish Joomla 1.7 installation. And that's all, Joomla 1.7 installation is completed.

When you finished installation Joomla 1.7 for your website, you can access the website by typing the following link:

Access font-end of your Joomla site: Type http://localhost/your-site-name to access font end of your Joomla website. For example, we type http://localhost/joomlaSite to access the font end of our Joomla site.
Access back-end of your Joomla site: Type http://localhost/your-site-name/administrator. to access back end of your Joomla website. For example, we type http://localhost/joomlaSite/administrator to access the back-end of our Joomla site.

Now set the Database configuration page. Select the Database type, Database name and Database password. Remember, you have to create a database. After you have entered your database settings, click on the Save and continue.
At the end of previous steps, Drupal will display its progress and after completion of this Configure site option will be available where you have to put several information like Site name, Site email address, Username, Password, Default country and Default time zone. After you have entered the configuration options to your satisfaction, click on the Save and continue button to finalize your choices.
At last a final status screen will be appeared to confirm the completion of Drupal 7. We can finally navigate to our site by clicking on the Visit your new site link.

Follow the simple step by step to create the “Hello World” C++ program in Microsoft Operating system using Microsoft Visual Studio 2010 Ultimate.

Step 1: You must have to start Microsoft Visual Studio 2010 Ultimate or Microsoft Visual Studio .NET or Microsoft Visual Studio 2005. When Microsoft Visual Studio has started, click on File menu, point to New, and then click Project.

Step 2: After step 1, New Project window will be appeared and from Project Types, click Visual C++ [Visual Studio 2005, you have to click Visual C++ under Project Types]. Later under Templates, click Win32 Project and put the name of the project. For example, we type MyTestProject for our C++ project. Step 4: After completing step 3, Solution Explorer will be appeared on Microsoft Visual Studio. From Solution Explorer, just right-click on Source Files folder and choose Add and then click Add New Item.

Step 5: You now have to add your program. Click on C++ File (.cpp) under Templates and write the name of the program in the Name text box with .cpp extension. For example, we type HelloWorld.cpp for our program. At last, click Add button to complete the creation of .cpp file.

Step 6: Now, we have to type the code of our Hello World program. Just type the following lines of code.
