The top 10 at this stat reveals a "who's who" at the position but a few names stood out to me, namely Kenny Britt and Arrelious Benn. Keep these two guys on your fantasy radar this off-season gang.

Rememeber, Britt had very little QB help last year with the rotation of Young/Collins and household name Rusty Smith throwing him the ball. Character issues are a concern, but that should keep the price affordable in the off-season to acquire him.

Benn is another guy you should be targeting. Yes Williams is the star, but Freeman is putting up monster #s already in his short career and appears to be poised for a true breakout season this year. With 25 TDS, 3400 yards and only 6 yes I said 6 interceptions, this kid is the real deal. Grab Benn while his value is dirt cheap and thank me later.

We've heard Coach P talk about this over and over but we finally go a dose of it this friday night against Notre Dame. Siva landed in foul trouble with 3 fouls in the first half and Knowles popped 2 fouls as well. What can we do with Smith and Justice in the game? Just hang in there. Don't give up, stay alert and do your best.

Let's face the facts:
1. Kuric was solid, playing all 45 minutes. He never left the floor. 14 points.
2. Chris Smith contributed 36 minutes tonight. He shot 1-11 from the field, but he hit crucial free throws down the stretch.
3. We only shot 30% from the 3 point line and still beat the #2 seed in the Big East and eventual #2 seed in the tournament.
4. Terrence Jennings. 3 blocks. 3 gorilla dunks, 16 points.
5. Preston! All I can say is Preston! Perfect 6-6 from the stripe with 15 second half points. The leader of our team.

And what amazing team defense on the BE POY Ben Hansborough. 3-16, 13 points. That's what I'm talking about Ricky P!

I LOVE this team! We will wear down UCONN tomorrow en route to our 2nd Big East tournament title and an eventual #2 seed!

Cards beat Marquette!

The Cards advance to the Semi-Final to face Notre Dame tomorrow night. I'll be doing the Podcast at 11pm EST, so hopefully the game is finishing up as we start the show, otherwise I will certainly be preoccupied.

What did we learn?

1. Marquette looked exhausted. Notre Dame won't be so easy to wear down.
2. Mike Marra found his confidence, hitting 6 3 pointers and beware folks... we have a Kuric clone!
3. Siva continues his excellent passing.
4. This team continues to amaze me with their overall solid play.
5. Chris Smith - POINTS? WHO NEEDS POINTS? 11 rebounds. BAM!
6. Kemba Walker.. remember one thing. Siva OWNS you!

Let's get it on , Irish Cards Friday night. They have the Big East POY and arguably coach of the year, but we have this guys. Remember Irish fans?

We discussed Louisville basketball locking up the 3 seed in the Big East Tournament

We discussed the NFFC being acquired by STATS Inc and Greg Ambrosius. We discussed the fact that it is March 4 and some players are still waiting on their checks, no thanks to Fanball. Scott announced he was throwing his hat back in the ring at the 14 teamer.

We discussed the FFPC adding a co-manager fee of $75. They added the High Society League $10k entry fee, pays $60 k to the highest winner.

We then discussed the WCOFF, and Dustin's email back n forth regarding the boards being hidden from public view. Several players are complaining on their boards about not receiving their prize checks.

We then jumped into WCOFB and their $200k baseball contest gearing up.

I TRADED Chris Johnson! Yes, yes I did... and I'll tell you why...

Well, a few Dynasty trades in the off-season is JUST what the doctor ordered for this team of mine.

First up:

I give: Chris Johnson, my 6th and 7th round rookie picks
I get: 1.1 rookie, 1.3 rookie, James Starks and Jared Cook

Why did I do this: Well, CJ is the undisputed #1 dynasty pick last year but the rest of my team didn't fire like I had hoped, and in this league there are some real power houses. Having Chris Johnson didn't put me over the top like I had hoped, plus he did hit that 350 carry mark, its a real jinx on backs ya know?? Anyway, I needed depth, TE was weak, Starks has some upside and the 2 top picks are looking very promising. I sure hope this works out!

I give: 1.3 rookie and Tony Moeaki
I get: Mike Williams TB

Love BMW. This guy could be elite as soon as this year. Potential Top 5 Dynasty WR in the works here gang. Don't miss out on this guy. Seriously, he's that good. The 1.3 rookie was going to be Julio, and it will really suck not getting to enjoy him on my squad, but I would have likely had to wait at least a year or two for him to get to BMW's production. Big time money league here, don't want to have too much "wait" in the tank. I need some "now"!

I get: Montario Hardesty

I've basically reached the end of my rope with MSW. So inconsistent, and he really hit a wall this past offseason. It's not always about talent, maybe he's not willing to work hard, or he has an ego, I don't know, all I do know is I don't like him on MY roster. I'll take an upside flier type RB. Hillis runs hard and upright, he might be an inury waiting to happen.

I give: Sidney Rice
I get: Brandon Pettigrew

This is the real head scratcher for alot of folks, but I'm a huge Pettigrew fan. #7 in FFPC scoring last year in really his rookie season, and without his stud QB. 111 targets with 71 catches. I'll take it to the bank. Rice just scares me. Hip, bad hip, okay hip?? I hate just worrying about him all the time. After I pulled, somebody mentioned they could give me XX for him had they known. Sometimes those sting, other times not so much.

Well, I think this positions me much better than I was before. I'll be adding Mark Ingram and AJ Green in the draft barring some bizarre mystery NFL draft. Hopefully one of Cook, Starks or Hardesty steps up and contributes!

Year two should be very interesting. Let's take a deeper look:
The QB position is set for a long time. Matty Ice and Mike Vick are a fantastic dynasty combo.
Chris Johnson had what many consider a down year at #7 overall. He should no doubt remain the center of the Titans offense. DeAngelo Williams just might be in a new city this year. Destinations look like Miami, Indianapolis, or my sleeper, Washington. Any of those 3 would be much better than the timeshare he's in at Carolina. Jahvid Best was my 2nd round selection last year. He had a couple games where we saw his potential, but his toe injury kept him out of significance the rest of the way. Here's hoping he can stay healthy.
Wideouts are a mixed bag, but I'm very excited about the 1.2 rookie pick. If Mark Ingram goes as expected, say hello to AJ Green. Some compare him to Calvin Johnson, others to Sidney Rice. I compare him to the closest thing we've seen to Randy Moss himself! He is fast as fast can be, with some of the best hands we've seen in many years. Multiple pro bowls are in store for Mr. Green. Yes, AJ Green has just catapaulted in front of last year's prize Dez Bryant. He's that good.

You guys know how high I've been on Mendenhall since his dominating year in college. I traded Lynch for him straight up a few years back and was ridiculed. Who looks dumb now? Before this season started, I traded Mendenhall away for Dez. Now maybe you know just how high I am on him. My Mendy love still runs deep!

Brady Bunch is FORMED

I participated in my local league draft this past weekend. This is a great group of guys to draft against. I haven't laughed so hard in months. Anyway, to the draft... FFPC RULES 1.5ppr for TEs, 2 flex.

I drew the 3rd choice for draft slot, after 1 and 2 were taken, I chose... 12! That's right, give me the turn this year.

1.12 Andre Johnson - DWill was on the board, but I think I'll be able to find value at RB later and I'm fairly confident AJ if healthy will outscore any RB on the board. No bad picks round 1.

2.1 Randy Moss - DWillw as a strong consideration but in the end, the same holds true for this pick as well. Moss should put up a TON of points with Brady. No bad picks round 2.

3.12 Tom Brady - Wow! Welker almost fell to me, and had this happened, I likely would have taken him too. This is a LETHAL start so far. Hopefully RBs fall.

4.1 Reggie Bush - Okay, this is what I'm talking about. Having a guy the calibre of Reggie Bush fall to the 4th is fine by me. LOTS of bad picks this round - Lendale, Stewy and Hines Ward all went too early for my liking.

5.12 Dallas Clark - Nice. I'm amazed so many players went in front of Dallas at 1.5ppr. Morgan at 5.4 was a bit of a shocker to say the least. Is he THAT good?

6.1 Ray Rice - My draft FEELS complete and I'm only 6 rounds in. Rice makes a fantastic RB2 for a team wielding Brady/Moss/AJ/Reggie and Dallas Clark.

7.12 Devin Hester - Yep, this draft couldn't be going any better for me. I'm stoked to add Cutler's favorite target to the mix as my WR3.

8.1 Michael Bush - Yes, I reached, but I firmly believe he will get the majority of the carries this year in Oakland. Sproles, Wells and McCoy were other options, but this is a Louisville based league and I knew Bush wouldn't make it back to me. I figured since the first 7 rounds were strong, I could afford the risk.

Ahmad Bradshaw/Leon Washington/Burleson/Jamal Charles/Mike Walker/Sam Hurd/Chargers D/Bernie Scott

I think I took enough fliers at RB to hold this position down while AJ, Moss and Hester carry the load at WR.
