X-Men: Mutant Academy 2 is a 3D fighting game for the PlayStation video game console; it is the sequel to X-Men: Mutant Academy and predecessor to X-Men: Next Dimension. Like its predecessor, the game allows the player to select from several heroes and villains and includes many of the signature moves from the comic. The game also includes a behind-the-scenes look at X-Men: The Movie concept sketches, costumes and other similar material.

There are four modes to play:

Academy Training - This is where alternate costumes can be unlocked. The majority of characters have the ability to unlock two costumes, but six characters cannot.

Arcade - In this mode, it is possible to unlock the ending movies of characters. Another additional feature is the ability to unlock extra characters. This is performed by obtaining all the ending movies for different characters in a row. Psylocke is unlocked for the left row after completing with Wolverine, and Juggernaut is unlocked for the right row after completing the game with all characters, including Psylocke. There are two special characters that can be unlocked after obtaining the endings of special characters. Spider-Man is unlocked if you encounter and defeat him on Arcade Mode, and Xavier is unlocked if one passes with Juggernaut.

Versus - Allows two players to fight each other using available characters, provided two controllers are properly inserted into the controller ports. On defeating Arcade Mode, the Pool Party arena is unlocked, which changes the character's skins to pool/beach themes. Survival -

Survival Mode allows the player to choose a single character and attempt to defeat multiple enemies without losing their own health. When the player's health bar is drained, the game is over. Each game of Survival Mode consists of one round; it counts wins and perfects (defeats without losing any of one's own health) and when defeated, places the player on a leaderboard, which initially has Beast last with two wins zero perfects, and Rogue first with ten wins, four perfects.

Alien vs. Predator (エイリアンVSプレデター) is a beat 'em up video game developed and released by Capcom for the CPS-2 arcade game system in 1994. In the game, the players take control of up to three out of four human and Predator characters in a battle against the Alien hordes and rogue human soldiers. The game was very well received by the public and by media publications, becoming a classic title for many fans of the beat 'em up genre, but was never ported to any home system.

Alien vs. Predator uses a control setup with an eight-directional joystick and three buttons: one to attack, one to jump, and one to shoot. The default cabinet for the game allows as many as three players to play simultaneously, although some smaller cabinets only accommodate two players. Four characters are available for the players' use: two cyborg soldiers, Dutch Schaefer and Linn Kurosawa; and two Predators, a Hunter and a Warrior.

Three of the four characters are equipped with a melee weapon: a katana for Linn, a bladed naginata staff for the Hunter, and an extendable-retractable spear/staff for the Warrior. Dutch has no such weapon, but can hit enemies with his cybernetic arm; in addition, he can hold and swing any melee weapon dropped by another character, instead of throwing it as the other playable characters do.

Each character is also equipped with a projectile weapon for ranged attacks. Linn uses a rapid-firing handgun, Dutch has a smart gun in his cybernetic arm, and the Predators both use shoulder-mounted energy weapons. Ammunition is represented by a meter near the bottom of the screen; when the meter is depleted, the character is unable to fire until it refills. Linn's ammunition refills fastest and allows the most shots, but she is completely defenseless while she reloads. Dutch and the Predators can move and fight while waiting for their ammunition to refill, and unlike Linn's pistol, their meters will gradually refill when not firing.

Marvel Super Heroes es un juego de peleas desarrollado por Capcom para la placa Arcade CPS-2, el cuál fue posteriormente portado para Sega Saturn y PlayStation. El juego presenta a muchos superhéroes y supervillanos del universo Marvel.

El juego esta libremente basado en la saga "El Guantelete Infinito" de Jim Starlin y George Pérez con los héroes y villanos luchando por el control de las gemas del infinito. El Jefe final del juego es Thanos, quien le roba al jugador las gemas que ha reunido y puede utilizarlas en contra del mismo.

El modo de juego es similar a X-Men: Children of the Atom pero con un uso más simplificado del medidor de poderes y con ello sumado el uso de las gemas del infinito. Cada Gema puede ser activada en batalla, dándole al jugador un poder distinto por algunos segundos.

Al final de los créditos de este juego aparece una leyenda en memoria de Jack Kirby .

VA-11 HALL-A: Cyberpunk Bartender Action (also sometimes written as Valhalla) is an indie bartender simulation video game with visual novel elements as well as cyberpunk and anime-inspired visuals, developed by Sukeban Games and published by Ysbryd Games for Microsoft Windows, OS X, and Linux on June 21, 2016. The PlayStation Vita port was developed by Wolfgame and published by Limited Run Games. The game puts the player in the role of a bartender at the eponymous VA-11 HALL-A, a small bar in a dystopian downtown which is said to attract the "most fascinating" of people. The gameplay consists of players making and serving drinks to bar attendees whilst listening to the stories and experiences of these said characters.

VA-11 HALL-A contains nonlinear gameplay, with the game's plotline being influenced by the drinks the player makes and how the customers react to them. There are no dialogue options within the game, with making different drinks being the sole way to influence the direction of the story. VA-11 HALL-A features a diverse range of characters that have been described as "average non-heroes", with developers noting how they were based on side characters that were never truly fleshed out in movies. Over time, the player begins to know the characters well enough to infer what drinks they want, resulting in an intimate experience.

Pokémon FireRed Version and LeafGreen Version (ポケットモンスターファイアレッド・リーフグリーン Poketto Monsutā Faiareddo Rīfugurīn^?, lit. "Pocket Monsters: FireRed & LeafGreen") are enhanced remakes of the original Pokémon Red and Bluevideo games, which were released in 1996. The new titles were developed by Game Freak and published by Nintendo for the Game Boy Advance and have compatibility with the Game Boy Advance Wireless Adapter, which originally came bundled with the games.FireRed and LeafGreen were first released in Japan in January 2004 and released to North America and Europe in September and October respectively. Nearly two years after their original release, Nintendo re-marketed them as Player's Choice titles.

FireRed and LeafGreen are members of the Pokémon series of role-playing video games. As in previous games, the player controls the player character from an overhead perspective, and participates in turn-based combat encounters. However, new features such as a contextual help menu and a new region the player may access have also been added. Throughout the games, the playercaptures and raises Pokémon for use in battle.

The games received mostly positive reviews, obtaining an aggregate score of 81 percent on Metacritic. Most critics praised the fact that the games introduced new features while still maintaining the traditional gameplay of the series. Reception of the graphics and audio was more mixed, with some reviewers complaining that they were too simplistic and lacked improvement compared to the previous games, Pokémon Ruby and Sapphire. HeartGold and SoulSilver take place in the Johto region of the franchise's fictional universe, which features special creatures called Pokémon. The basic goal of the game is to become the best Pokémon trainer in the Johto and Kanto regions, which is done by raising and cataloging Pokémon and defeating other trainers. The games are bundled with a peripheral called the Pokéwalker, a pedometerresembling a Poké Ball which can connect to the Nintendo DS game card via infrared signals.

Game director Shigeki Morimoto aimed to respect the feelings of those who played the previous games, while also ensuring that it felt like a new game to those that were introduced to the series in more recent years. Earthworm Jim is a run and gun platform video game featuring an earthworm named Jim in a robotic suit who battles evil. Created byDoug TenNapel and designed by David Perry, the game was developed by Shiny Entertainment and Playmates Interactive Entertainment. It was released for the Sega Genesis in 1994, and subsequently ported to a number of other video game consoles

The game plays as a 2D sidescrolling platformer with elements of a run and gun game as well. The player controls Jim and must maneuver him through the level while avoiding obstacles and enemies. The player can use Jim's gun as a method of shooting enemies, or his head as a whip for whipping enemies. The whip move also allows the player to grab hold of, and swing from, certain hooks in the game. Some levels have additional requirements beyond merely getting to the end of the level.

Special edition

A "Special Edition" of the game was released for the Sega Genesis add-on, the Sega CD, and Windows 95. It was based off the Genesis version, contained all of its levels, plus some extended section to the levels and a single completely new level, titled "Big Bruty", a new remixed CD audio soundtrack, as well as around 1,000 more frames of in-game animation.These versions were also the only ones to contain alternate endings when winning on the "Easy" or "Hard" difficulties, in which a narrator rambles on about many (false) facts about worms or congratulates the player in a similar absurd manner respectively.

Another special edition of the game was released exclusively through the Sega Channel, a subscription game service for the Sega Genesis, for a contest dubbed The Great Earthworm Jim Race. This version included a secret room which, when reached by the first 200 players, would display a password and a toll-free telephone number. Those that called the number were awarded special prizes.

Dustforce es un juego de plataformas desarrollado por Hitbox Team. El juego se lanzó el 17 de enero de 2012 para Microsoft Windows en Steam y se planea lanzarse a en Mac Os X.

En este juego el jugador controla a uno de los cuatro barrenderos que tienen como misión limpiar un mundo lleno de suciedad. Los personajes tienen habilidades más propias de un ninja que les permitirán cumplir su cometido, limpiando distintos rincones y liberando de la suciedad a las criaturas que ahí viven.

El juego se compone de más de 50 niveles donde se púntua según el tiempo y la cantidad de suciedad limpiada.

La manera de jugar a este juego es parecida a Super Meat Boy, ya que se basa en la habilidad del jugador de avanzar caminando por las paredes o usando saltos dobles en pantallas.

Al acabar un nivel se muestra la puntuación del usuario y se dan dos notas que puede ser, de menor a mayor, F, E, D, C, B, A, S. Las dos notas se basan en:

Completion. Valora el porcentaje de suciedad eliminado del nivel.
Finesse. Valora el tiempo con el que se ha acabado el nivel y las veces que se vacía el "combo meter".

El combo meter es una barra que se llena según se limpian más cosas seguidas y multiplica la puntuación. Si se pasa mucho tiempo sin limpiar se resetea.

A los niveles de Dustforce se accede a través de unas puertas que encontramos en la pantalla de inicio, que es como un nivel más grande. Algunas de estas puertas tienen cerraduras que pueden abrirse con llaves que se obtienen al acabar un nivel con una puntación de doble S.

X-Men: Mutant Apocalypse es un video juego de acción de desplazamiento lateral (side-scrolling) publicado por Capcom para la consola casera Super Nintendo Entertainment System en 1994. Esta basado en la serie de cómics X-Men y basa principalmente en la serie animada que fue emitido durante la década de 1990.

El jugador toma el control de cinco X-Men que debe rescatar a sus compañeros mutantes de su cautiverio en el complejo isla Genosha. Cada personaje tiene una misión específica que deben cumplir. Al comienzo de cada etapa, el Profesor X emite una orden que los X-Men deben completar para terminar sus misiones, pero los niveles se pueden jugar en cualquier orden. Después, Apocalipsis (y más tarde, Magneto) aparece con la intención de destruir Genosha. En este caso, las misiones son compartidos por todos los personajes que el jugador puede elegir qué personaje es el más adecuado para la misión actual.

Villanos

Magistrados de Genosha - Los enemigos comunes Algunos están armados con armas tales como granadas, cuchillos y armas de fuego.

Centinelas – Otra clase de enemigo que el jugador tiene que enfrentar, son robots de distintos tamaños. Hay tres centinelas jefes: Wolverine lucha contra un centinela gigante que está todavía sin terminar. Psylocke lucha contra un centinela en un ascensor al final de su etapa, y Bestia combate contra tres centinelas en un combate de cuerpo a cuerpo.

Brood - Una raza como parásitos, son insectos extraterrestres que poseen alas, colmillos dientes y una cola de picadura. Tienen una mentalidad de colmena y solo piensan en seguir su reina.

Brood Queen- - El líder de los Brood y uno de los jefes que los X-Men que deben enfrentar.

Tuskettes – Son los secuaces del Tusk, atacan aferrándose a sus víctimas de manera violenta.

Tusk - Un poderoso mutante que tiene una fuerza sobrehumana y la capacidad de crear pequeñas copias de sí mismo que obedecen sus órdenes, llamado "Tuskettes".

Apocalipsis - La mente maestra detrás de la supuesta eventos en Genosha.

Omega Red - Él aparece como la simulación de realidad virtual para probar a los X-Men sus habilidades en la Sala de Peligro.

Juggernaut - Al igual que Omega Rojo, su figura como una simulación de realidad virtual en la Sala de Peligro.

Acolytes - Sólo aparece en el último nivel del juego, pueden teletransportarse alrededor de la habitación lanzan fuego de energía en contra del jugador. Tienen una gran resistencia a los golpes.

Éxodus - Guardian de Magneto a bordo del Avalon. Éxodus puede teletransportarse por la sala y lanzar rayos láser por sus ojos. Éxodus también puede convocar Acolytes para ayudarle en la batalla. Cuando la mitad de su salud se ha ido, Éxodo se retirará de la batalla.

Magneto - El jefe final del juego. Magneto reside en su colonia espacio personal "Avalon" y utiliza los poderes magnéticos lanzando al jugador pequeños trozos de metal.

Killer Instinct 2 (abreviado KI2) es un videojuego arcade de lucha desarrollado por Rare Ltd., licenciado por Nintendo y manufacturado por Midway. KI2 es la secuela de Killer Instinct (1994), un juego 'arcade', el cual también fue llevado a la plataforma de SNES, pero nunca fue publicado. Como su predecesor, el juego consiste de dos palancas de 8 direcciones, con seis botones cada uno para los ataques (tres puñetazos y tres patada), lo que permite tanto un modo para un solo jugador o dos jugadores en modo 'versus'.

Una versión modificada de KI2 apareció en Nintendo 64: Killer Instinct Gold, en 1996. Las diferencias de esta versión son, entre otras: remoción del movimiento Rigor mortis de Jago, personajes más pequeños y cambios en algunos combos y en los límites de golpes. La versión casera cuenta también con entrenamiento y opciones para habilitar y deshabilitar características como: proyectiles rápidos, barra de supers llena todo el tiempo, mayor velocidad, entre otros.

Los movimientos llamados combos (secuencias de golpes) son más complejos debido a la introducción de super movimientos (supers) que funcionan como un autodouble pero mucho más largos. Además, se puede efectuar un mini-ultra en el primer asalto (round), con un movimiento similar al ultra combo. Como comentaron sus creadores, y, en particular, Ken Lobb, este nuevo juego es más rápido que su antecesor y requiere de una táctica más agresiva.

La historia del juego es sobre un viaje en el tiempo en el que participan los personajes y el jefe final recibe el nombre de Gargos (es una gárgola). Los nuevos personajes son Tusk, Kim Wu y Maya. Estos Personajes sustituyeron a Riptor, Cinder y Chief Thunder, quienes estuvieron en el primer juego de la serie.

Puzzle Bobble (Japanese: パズルボブル Hepburn: Pazuru Boburu?), also known as Bust-a-Move, is a 1994 tile-matching arcade puzzle video game for one or two players created by Taito Corporation. It is based on Taito's popular 1986 arcade game Bubble Bobble, featuring characters and themes from that game. Its characteristically "cute" Japanese animation and music, along with its play mechanics and level designs, made it successful as an arcade title and spawned several sequels and ports to home gaming systems.

Gameplay

At the start of each round, the rectangular playing arena contains a prearranged pattern of coloured "bubbles". (These are actually referred to in the translation as "balls"; however, they were clearly intended to be bubbles, since they pop, and are taken from Bubble Bobble.) At the bottom of the screen, the player controls a device called a "pointer", which aims and fires bubbles up the screen. The colour of bubbles fired is randomly generated and chosen from the colors of bubbles still left on the screen.

The fired bubbles travel in straight lines (possibly bouncing off the side walls of the arena), stopping when they touch other bubbles or reach the top of the arena. If a bubble touches identically-colored bubbles, forming a group of three or more, those bubbles—as well as any bubbles hanging from them—are removed from the field of play, and points are awarded.

After every few shots, the "ceiling" of the playing arena drops downwards slightly, along with all the bubbles stuck to it. The number of shots between each drop of the ceiling is influenced by the number of bubble colors remaining. The closer the bubbles get to the bottom of the screen, the faster the music plays and if they cross the line at the bottom then the game is over.

The objective of the game is to clear all the bubbles from the arena without any bubble crossing the bottom line. Bubbles will fire automatically if the player remains idle. After clearing the arena, the next round begins with a new pattern of bubbles to clear.

The Binding of Isaac is an independent video game designed by Edmund McMillen and Florian Himsl. It was released on Steam on September 28, 2011. Players control a crying naked child named Isaac or one of six other unlockable characters. After his mother receives a message from God demanding the life of her son as proof of her faith, Isaac flees into the monster-filled basement in order to escape with his life.

The Binding of Isaac is a top-down 2D action-adventure game in which the player controls Isaac or one of six other unlockable characters as he explores the dungeons located in Isaac's room basement. The game's mechanics and presentation is similar to the dungeons of The Legend of Zelda, while incorporating random, procedurally-generated levels in a manner similar to many Roguelike games.[4] On each floor of the basement dungeon, the player must fight monsters in a room before he can continue onto the next room. Along the way, the player can collect money to buy equipment from shopkeepers, keys to unlock special treasure rooms, and new weapons and power-ups to strengthen their chances against the enemies. Each floor of the dungeon includes a boss which the player must defeat before continuing to the next level.

Expansion

An expansion to the game, titled Wrath of the Lamb, was released through Steam on May 28, 2012. The expansion adds 70% more content to the original, and contains more than 10 bosses, over 100 items, over 40 unlocks, a new final ending and more.

Ghost Sweeper Mikami: Joreishi wa Nice Body is a side-scrolling platformer where the player controls Reiko through multiple stages. Reiko is armed with a magic baton that can be used to perform several types of melee attacks. The baton can be powered up to shoot various types of projectiles, though these powerups are lost if Reiko takes any damage. It can also be used as a type of grappling hook to access certain platforms. There are also limited uses of magic attacks that hit all enemies on the screen.
