Hildon will be joining the ShipNet staff as partner consultants on the Shipbuilding, Machinery & Marine Technology international trade fair in Hamburg. Hildon will represent ShipNet.The ShipNet stand can be found in the Hamburger Messe, Hall 12, Floor OG, Booth 12.OG.500With 40,000 visitors from all over the world and more than 1,400 exhibitors, SMM Hamburg is with no doubt the leading international trade fair for this sector. How to get management information out of ShipNet?
On Monday June 14 2004, Hildon Consulting organised its first seminar, covering Business Intelligence. Amongst others a standard tool that can be used on top of the ShipNet database was presented. The seminar was organised together with Getronics at their office in Gouda, Netherlands.Representatives of six leading Dutch shipping companies (who use ShipNet) were present.
The overall response was very positive.During this seminar Mr. A.A. Eggink of Fluvia AG (http://www.fluvia.ch) presented an interesting theory on management reporting in the Shipping Industry. Mr. M. Dekker of Getronics showed the standard tool that was developed together with Getronics, which can be used on the ShipNet database.

ShipNet User Conference 2004

We attended the 8th annual ShipNet User Conference held from 26 through 29 April 2004 in Geiranger Norway. A total of 167 persons of 65 companies from Europe, USA and Asia attended the meeting. Hildon Consulting was introduced as the local Benelux Partner.

On April 15th 2004 we attended the KVNR seminar on maintenance systems in Zwolle Netherlands, where we promoted ourselves. Over 80 dutch shipping companies were present.
