Kālidās was a Classical Sanskrit writer, widely considered the best poet and dramatist within the Sanskrit language of India. His plays and poetry are based on the Vedas, the Ramayana, the Mahabharata and therefore the Puranas.

He concluded that Kalidasa was born in Kashmir, but moved southwards, and sought the patronage of local rulers to prosper. The evidence cited by him from Kalidasa's writings includes:

सहस्त्रार्जुन का वास्तविक नाम अर्जुन था। उन्होंने दत्तात्रेय को प्रसन्न करने के लिए बहुत तपस्या की। दत्तात्रेय उनकी तपस्या से प्रसन्न हुए और उनसे वरदान मांगने के लिए कहा, इसलिए उन्हें दत्तात्रेय से 10,000 आशीर्वाद मिले।

इसके बाद उनका नाम अर्जुन से सहस्त्रार्जुन पड़ा। इसे कार्तवीरवीर भी कहा जाता है क्योंकि यह राजा स्वामीनारायण और राजा कार्तवीर्य का पुत्र है।

ऐसा कहा जाता है कि महिष्मती राजा सहस्त्रार्जुन ने अपने अभिमान में सभी को रोक दिया था। लोग इसके अत्याचार और अनाचार से त्रस्त थे।

महर्षि जमदग्रि ने आतिथ्य सत्कार में कोई कसर नहीं छोड़ी क्योंकि वे आश्रम के अतिथि के रूप में माने जाते थे। कहा जाता है कि ऋषि जमदग्नि के पास कामधेनु नाम की एक अद्भुत गाय थी, जो देवराज इंद्र से प्राप्त दिव्य गुणों से युक्त थी। महर्षि ने उस गाय की सहायता से ही पूरी सेना के भोजन की व्यवस्था की।

कामधेनु के ऐसे असाधारण गुणों को देखकर, सहस्त्रार्जुन ऋषि के सामने अपने राजसी सुख को कम महसूस करने लगे। उसके मन में ऐसी अद्भुत गाय पाने की लालसा जागी। उसने कामधेनु को ऋषि जमदग्नि से माँगा। लेकिन ऋषि जमदग्नि ने कामधेनु को आश्रम के प्रबंधन और जीवन के रखरखाव के लिए आवश्यक कामधेनु को देने से इनकार कर दिया।

इस पर सहस्त्रार्जुन क्रोधित हो गए और ऋषि जमदग्नि के आश्रम को तहस-नहस कर दिया और कामधेनु को ले जाने लगे। उस समय कामधेनु सहस्त्रार्जुन के हाथों से छूटकर स्वर्ग की ओर चली गई।

जब परशुराम अपने आश्रम में पहुँचे, तो उनकी माँ रेणुका ने उन्हें सारी बात बताई। माता-पिता का अपमान और आश्रम की स्थिति देखकर परशुराम क्रोधित हो गए।

पराक्रमी परशुराम ने उसी समय धर्मयुद्ध, सहस्त्रार्जुन और उसकी सेना को नष्ट करने का संकल्प लिया। परशुराम अपने परशु अस्त्र के साथ विशाखदन्नाम शहर पहुंचे।

जहाँ सहस्त्रार्जुन और परशुराम का युद्ध हुआ। लेकिन बल के सामने परशुराम की बहादुरी एक बड़ी बौनी साबित हुई। भगवान परशुराम ने दुष्ट सहस्त्रार्जुन की हजारों भुजाएं और धड़ काटकर उसे मार डाला।

सहस्त्रार्जुन के वध के बाद, पिता के आदेश पर, वह इस वध का प्रायश्चित करने के लिए परशुराम के तीर्थ यात्रा पर गए।

तब, सहस्त्रार्जुन के पुत्रों ने मौका पाकर, आश्रम में अपने सहयोगी, क्षत्रियों की मदद से, तपस्वी महर्षि जमदग्नि का सिर काट दिया और उन्हें मार डाला। सहस्त्रार्जुन के पुत्रों ने आश्रम को जला दिया, जिससे आश्रम के सभी संत मारे गए।

यह देखकर परशुराम बहुत क्रोधित हुए और उन्होंने शपथ ली कि वे न केवल हैहय वंश को नष्ट करेंगे बल्कि उनके सहयोगी 21 बार सभी क्षत्रिय वंश को नष्ट कर देंगे और क्षत्रिय भूमि को नष्ट कर देंगे। पुराणों में वर्णित है कि भगवान परशुराम ने भी अपने संकल्प को पूरा किया।

After this, his name was Sahastrajun from Arjuna. It is also called Kartairavir because it is the son of King Swaminarayan and King Kartwarya.

It is said that Mahishmati king Sahastrajun had stalled all pride in his pride. People were stricken with its atrocities and incest.

She asked Kamdhenu with sage Jamadagni. But Rishi Jamdagni refused Kamdhenu to give Kamdhenu as the only means of managing the ashram and the maintenance of life. On this, Sahastrajunj became angry and devastated the ashram of the sage Jamdagni and started taking Kamdhenu. At that time, Kamdhenu departed from the hands of Sahastrajun and went towards heaven.

When Parshuram reached his ashram, his mother Renuka told him all the details. Parashuram got angry after seeing the disrespect of the parents and the condition of the Ashram.

LORD PARSURAMA ON MISSION

Mighty Parashuram resolved to destroy the crusader, Sahastrajun and his army at the same time. Parashuram accompanied his Parshu weapon and reached the city of Visakhadnam.

Where the battle of Sahastrajun and Parasurama occurred. But the bravery of Parasurama proved to be a great dwarf in front of the force. Lord Parashuram bitten the thousands of arms and trunk of the wicked Sahastrajun and killed him.

After the execution of Sahastrajun, on the orders of the father, he went on a pilgrimage to Parasurama to perform the atonement of this slaughter.

Then, after getting the opportunity, sons of Sahastrajun cut the head of Maharshi Jamdagni, the ascetic, with the help of their collaborator Kshatriyas, in their own ashram and killed them. The sons of Sahastrajun burned the ashram, killing all the sages of the ashram.

Mother Renuka cried called his son Parashuram. When Parashuram heard the call of the mother and reached the ashram, the mother saw moaning and near the mother saw the father’s cut head and 21 wounds on his body.

ANGRY LORD PARSURAMA

शबरी श्री राम की परम भक्त थी जिन्होंने उन्हें झूठे बैर खिलाये थे, शबरी का असली नाम “श्रमणा” था, वह भील सामुदाय के शबर जाति से सम्बन्ध रखती थीं इसी कारण कालांतर में उनका नाम शबरी पड़ा । उनके पिता भीलों के मुखिया थे, श्रमणा उनका विवाह एक भील कुमार से तय हुआ था, विवाह से पहले कई सौ पशु बलि के लिए लाये गए जिन्हें देख श्रम बड़ी आहत हुई. यह कैसी परंपरा जिसके बेजुबान और निर्दोष जानवरो की हत्या की जाएगी इस कारण शबरी विवाह से 1 दिवस पूर्व भाग गई और दंडकारण्य वन में पहुंच गई।

दंडकारण्य में मातंग ऋषि तपस्या किया करते थे, श्रमणा उनकी सेवा तो करना चाहती थी पर वह भील जाति की होने के कारण उसे अवसर ना मिलाने का अंदेशा था। फिर भी शाबर सुबह-सुबह ऋषियों के उठने से पहले उनके आश्रम से नदी तक का रास्ता साफ़ कर देती थीं, कांटे चुनकर रास्ते में साफ बालू बिछा देती थी। यह सब वे ऐसे करती थीं कि किसी को इसका पता नहीं चलता था।

1 दिवस ऋषिश्रेष्ठ को शबरी दिख गई और उनके सेवा से अति प्रसन्न हो गए और उन्होंने शबरी को अपने आश्रम में शरण दे दी। जब मतंग का अंत समय आया तो उन्होंने शबरी से कहा कि वे अपने आश्रम में ही भगवान राम की प्रतीक्षा करें, वे उनसे मिलने जरूर आएंगे।मतंग ऋषि की मौत के बात शबरी का समय भगवान राम की प्रतीक्षा में बीतने लगा, वह अपना आश्रम एकदम साफ़ रखती थीं। रोज राम के लिए मीठे बेर तोड़कर लाती थी। बेर में कीड़े न हों और वह खट्टा न हो इसके लिए वह एक-एक बेर चखकर तोड़ती थी। ऐसा करते-करते कई साल बीत गए।

शबरी धाम से लगभग 7 किमी की दूरी पर पूर्णा नदी पर स्थित पंपा सरोवर है। यहीं मातंग ऋषि का आश्रम था।

एक दिन शबरी को पता चला कि दो सुन्दर युवक उन्हें ढूंढ रहे हैं, वे समझ गईं कि उनके प्रभु राम आ गए हैं. उस समय तक वो वृद्ध हो चली थीं, लेकिन राम के आने की खबर सुनते ही उसमे चुस्ती आ गई और वो भागती हुई अपने राम के पास पहुंची और उन्हें घर लेकर आई और उनके पाँव धोकर बैठाया। अपने तोड़े हुए मीठे बेर राम को दिए राम ने बड़े प्रेम से वे बेर खाए और लक्ष्मण को भी खाने को कहा।

मतंग ऋषि के शाप के कारण ही वानरराज बालि ऋष्यमूक पर्वत पर आने से डरता था। इस बारे में कहा जाता है कि दुंदुभी नामक एक दैत्य को अपने बल पर बड़ा गर्व था, जिस कारण वह एक बार समुद्र के पास पहुँचा तथा उसे युद्ध के लिए ललकारा। समुद्र ने उससे लड़ने में असमर्थता व्यक्त की तथा कहा कि उसे हिमवान से युद्ध करना चाहिए। दुंदुभी ने हिमवान के पास पहुँचकर उसकी चट्टानों और शिखरों को तोड़ना प्रारम्भ कर दिया। हिमवान ऋषियों का सहायक था तथा युद्ध आदि से दूर रहता था। उसने दुंदुभी को इंद्र के पुत्र बालि से युद्ध करने के लिए कहा। बालि से युद्ध होने पर बालि ने उसे मार डाला तथा रक्त से लथपथ उसके शव को एक योजन दूर उठा फेंका। मार्ग में उसके मुँह से निकली रक्त की बूंदें महर्षि मतंग के आश्रम पर जाकर गिरीं। महर्षि मतंग ने बालि को शाप दिया कि वह और उसके वानरों में से कोई भी यदि उनके आश्रम के पास एक योजन की दूरी तक जायेगा तो वह मर जायेगा। अत: बालि के समस्त वानरों को भी वह स्थान छोड़कर जाना पड़ा। मतंग का आश्रम ऋष्यमूक पर्वत पर स्थित था, अत: बालि और उसके वानर वहाँ नहीं जा सकते थे।

लाॅकडाउन का उल्लंघन करने वाले सावधान हाे जाएं। जिन लोगों के खिलाफ पुलिस लाॅकडाउन उल्लंघन का केस दर्ज करेगी वे न ताे पासपाेर्ट बना सकेंगे और ना ही उनकी सरकारी नाैकरी लग सकेगी। पुलिस अब ऐसे लाेगाें के खिलाफ चालान पेश करने जा रही है। ऐसे लाेगाें के बारे में भी जानकारी मांगी गई है जिनके खिलाफ मामले दर्ज हुए हैं और सरकारी नाैकरी में हैं ।

लाॅकडाउन से अब तक 556 केस दर्ज हुए हैं। इनमें
830 से ज्यादा लाेगाें काे आराेपी बनाया गया है। सरकारी
कर्मचारियों के खिलाफ संबंधित विभाग काे लिखा जा रहा है।
830 आराेपियाें में से 570 की उम्र 20 से 40 के बीच
हैं। यानी अधिकतर या तो किसी काम की तलाश में हैं या प्रतियाेगी परीक्षाओं की तैयारी कर रहे हैं।

कैसे कोरोना के डर ने ब्रिटेन में मचाई तबाही :

कोरोना वायरस के फैलाव के बीच सोशल मीडिया पर 5 जी टेक्नोलॉजी

के खिलाफ जमकर अभियान चल रहा है। फेसबुक ग्रुप, व्हाट्सएप संदेशों और

यूट्यूब पर यह गलत प्रचार हो रहा है कि 5 जी टेक्नोलॉजी की रेडियो तरंगों

से लोगों के शरीर में परिवर्तन होते हैं इसलिए वह वायरस का शिकार हो जाता

है। ब्रिटिश अधिकारियों ने बताया कि देश में इस माह वायरलैस टॉवर जलाने

की 30 से अधिक घटनाएं हो चुकी हैं। टेलीकॉम टेक्नीशियन को परेशान करने

की 80 से अधिक घटनाएं हो चुकी हैं। ब्रिटेन के बर्मिंघम, लिवरपूल सहित

कई स्थानों और उत्तर आयरलैंड के बेलफास्ट में ऐसी घटनाएं हुई है।

23 मार्च को ब्रिटिश सरकार ने 5जी उपकरणों की खास सुरक्षा के आदेश जारी

कर दिए हैं। इन घटनाओं से पता लगता है कि वास्तविक दुनिया में कोरोना वायरस साजिश का कैसा अंधा प्रचार किया जा रहा है। गलत प्रचार अभियान पर रिसर्च करने वाले विशेषज्ञों का कहना है, कोरोना वायरस से पहले कभी ऐसे अभियान ने इतनी जल्दी बहुत नुकसान नहीं पहुंचाया है। ब्रूसेल्स स्थित यूरोपियन यूनियन डिसइंफो लैब के डायरेक्टर अलेक्सांड्रेअलाफिलिपे कहते हैं, साजिश रचने वाले ऐसे अधिकतर अभियान ऑनलाइन सीमित रहते हैं लेकिन यह वास्तविक दुनिया में पहुंच गया है। उन्होेंने इसे नई समस्या बताया है।

5जी कोरोना वायरस प्रचार के 10 सबसे लोकप्रिय वीडियो को यूट्यूब पर

58 लाख बार देखा गया। स्विटजरलैंड, उरुग्वे, जापान सहित 30 देशों में

फेसबुक पर यह अभियान देखा जा सकता है। कोरोना वायरस से संबंधित

ऑनलाइन गलत सूचनाओं की जांच करने वाली समिति की सदस्य ब्रिटिश

सांसद जूलियन नाइट का कहना है, फेसबुक, यूट्यूब को स्थिति पर नियंत्रण

पाने की कोशिश करनी चाहिए।

इंस्टाग्राम, व्हाट्सएप की मालिक फेसबुक का कहना है, उसने कोविड-

19 फैलाने में 5 जी टेक्नोलॉजी की भूमिका होने के दावों को हटाना शुरू

कर दिया है। यूट्यूब ने कहा है, वह ऐसे वीडियो कम करेगा। टि्वटर का कहना

है, उसने बीमारी के बारे में भ्रामक और नुकसानदेह कंटेंट के खिलाफ कार्रवाई

की है। 5 जी टेक्नोलॉजी के खिलाफ राजनीतिक स्तर पर चले अभियान को

इंटरनेट ट्रोल्स ने पकड़ लिया है।

जनवरी में वुहान, चीन में वायरस का प्रकोप बढ़ने के साथ 5जी विरोधी

ट्रोल शुरू हो गए थे। 19 जनवरी को टि्वटर पर एक पोस्ट में बीमारी को

5जी से जोड़ने की अटकल लगाई गई। मीडिया इनसाइट कंपनी जिगनल लैब्स

के अनुसार इस साल 7 अप्रैल तक ऐसा प्रयास 6 लाख 99 हजार बार किया गया। ट्वीट में कहा गया, वुहान में पांच हजार से अधिक 5जी बेस स्टेशन हैं। 2021 तक 50 हजार हो जाएंगे। यह बीमारी है या 5जी। बेल्जियम न्यूज

वेबसाइट पर एक डॉक्टर के हवाले से बताया गया कि 5जी जनता की सेहत को नुकसान पहुंचाता है।

इन सब के डर से लोग टावरों को जलाने का कदम उठा रहे हैं।

ब्रिटिश राज के दौरान 13 अप्रैल 1919 को बैसाखी के दिन हजारों लोग जलियांवाला बाग (अमृतसर ) मे इकठ्ठा हुए थे ।

ब्रिटिश सरकार के अधिकारी में जनरल डायर ने
अपनी सेना को आदेश देकर निहत्थे व निर्दोष लोग जो धार्मिक त्यौहार के लिए एकत्रित हुए थे उन पर गोलियां चलवाई।

इसमें लगभग 400 से अधिक लोग मारे गए तथा हजारों लोग घायल हुए हैं।

मिथिला नरेश राजा जनक के गुरु अष्टावक्र :

मिथिला नरेश राजा जनक के गुरु का नाम अष्टावक्र था। अष्टावक्र कि एक अद्भुत कहानी है जो इस प्रकार है....

पिता के शाप के कारण उनका शरीर आठ जगह से टेडा-मेड़ा था। इस वजह से उनका नाम अष्टावक्र पड़ा ।Click here

पिता के इस शाप के बावजूद अष्टावक्र पिताभक्त थे। जब वे बारह वर्ष के थे तब राज्य के राजा जनक ने विशाल शास्त्रार्थ सम्मेलन का आयोजन किया। सारे देश के प्रकांड पंडितों को निमंत्रण दिया गया, चूंकि अष्टावक्र के पिता भी प्रकांड पंडित और शास्त्रज्ञ थे तो उन्हें भी विशेष आमंत्रित किया गया। जनक ने आयोजन स्थल के समक्ष 1000 गाएं बांध ‍दीं। गायों के सींगों पर सोना मढ़ दिया और गले में हीरे-जवाहरात लटका दिए और कह दिया कि जो भी विवाद में विजेता होगा वह ये गाएं हांककर ले जाए।

संध्या होते-होते खबर आई कि अष्टावक्र के पिता हार रहे हैं। सबसे तो जीत चुके थे ‍लेकिन वंदनि (बंदी) नामक एक पंडित से हारने की स्थिति में पहुंच गए थे। पिता के हारने की स्थिति तय हो चुकी थी कि अब हारे या तब हारे। यह खबर सुनकर अष्टावक्र खेल-क्रीड़ा छोड़कर राजमहल पहुंच गए। अष्टावक्र भरी सभा में जाकर खड़े हो गए। उनका आठ जगहों से टेढ़ा-मेढ़ा शरीर और अजीब चाल देखकर सारी सभा हंसने लगी। अष्टावक्र यह नजारा देखकर सभाजनों से भी ज्यादा जोर से खिलखिलाकर हंसे।

जनक ने पूछा, 'सब हंसते हैं, वह तो मैं समझ सकता हूं, लेकिन बेटे, तेरे हंसने का कारण बता?अष्टावक्र ने कहा, 'मैं इसलिए हंस रहा हूं कि इन चमारों की सभा में सत्य का निर्णय हो रहा है, आश्चर्य! ये चमार यहां क्या कर रहे हैं।'

सारी सभा में सन्नाटा छा गया। सब अवाक् रह गए। राजा जनक खुद भी सन्न रह गए। उन्होंने बड़े संयत भाव से पूछा, 'चमार!!! तेरा मतलब क्या?'

अष्टावक्र ने कहा, 'सीधी-सी बात है। इनको चमड़ी ही दिखाई पड़ती है, मैं नहीं दिखाई पड़ता। ये चमार हैं। चमड़ी के पारखी हैं। इन्हें मेरे जैसा सीधा-सादा आदमी दिखाई नहीं पड़ता, इनको मेरा आड़ा-तिरछा शरीर ही दिखाई देता है। राजन, मंदिर के टेढ़े होने से आकाश कहीं टेढ़ा होता है? घड़े के फूटे होने से आकाश कहीं फूटता है? आकाश तो निर्विकार है। मेरा शरीर टेढ़ा-मेढ़ा है लेकिन मैं तो नहीं। यह जो भीतर बसा है, इसकी तरफ तो देखो। मेरे शरीर को देखकर जो हंसते हैं, वे चमार नहीं तो क्या हैं?

यह सुनकर मिथिला देश के नरेश एवं भगवान राम के ससुर राजा जनक सन्न रह गए। जनक को अपराधबोध हुआ कि सब हंसे तो ठीक, लेकिन मैं भी इस बालक के शरीर को देखकर हंस दिया। राजा जनक के जीवन की सबसे बड़ी घटना थी। देश का सबसे बड़ा ताम-झाम। सबसे सुंदर गाएं। सबसे महंगे हीरे-जवाहरात। सबसे विद्वान पंडित और सारे संसार में इस कार्यक्रम का समाचार और सिर्फ एक ही झटके में सब कुछ खत्म। जनक को बहुत पश्चाताप हुआ। सभा भंग हो गई।

रातभर राजा जनक सो न सके। दूसरे दिन सम्राट जब घूमने निकले तो उन्हें वही बालक अष्टावक्र खेलते हुए नजर आया। वे अपने घोड़े से उतरे और उस बालक के चरणों में गिर पड़े। कहा- 'आपने मेरी नींद तोड़ दी। आपमें जरूर कुछ बात है। आत्मज्ञान की चर्चा करने वाले शरीर पर हंसते हैं तो वे कैसे ज्ञानी हो सकते हैं। प्रभु आप मुझे ज्ञान दो।'

तब राजा जनक ने उस बालक से विधिवत दीक्षा लेकर ज्ञान की शिक्षा ली। सबसे पहले अष्टावक्र ने कहा... 'जो जो अज्ञान है उसे जान लेना ही ज्ञान की शुरुआत है।... अष्टावक्र और राजा जनक के बीच जो संवाद उसे 'अष्टावक्र महागीता' के नाम से जाना जाता है। कुछ पन्नों की इस किताब में दर्शन, जीवन और धर्म से जुड़े प्रश्न और उसके उत्तर सम्मिलित हैं। इस पुस्तक में 10 अध्याय हैं।

Maharshi (sage) Agastya : Hindu sage , scholar , teacher and a great spiritual leader

Maharshi Agastya was the great sage , scholar of Vedic period of Hinduism. He also written some part of rig Veda along with his wife.
According to Hindu religious texts it is said that once he stop the upward growth of haughty mountain Vindhyanchal (in south India ) that's why he is called as Agastya i.e. the stopper of mountain.

Once sage Agastya drank all the water of seven oceans of this world to help gods to kill demons which were hiding in the oceans.

Lord Vishnu himself gave him the knowledge of Tamil language that's why Maharshi Agastya is known as originator of Tamil language he also developed early Tamil grammar.

He also played a leading role in the development of science and medicine in Vedic times.

According to Ramayana (a Hindu religious text ) during exile in forest (Vanvas) lord Rama along with his wife Sita and brother Lakshman visited the monastery (ashram) of Maharishi Agastya.

Maharshi Agastya gave a bow to Lord RAMA which was made by Vishwakarma for Lord Vishnu and cannot be destroyed by any weapon of any foe. He also gave Lord RAMA and Lakshmana divine quivers that he had from lord Indra these quivers can never be empty of arrows. these four arrows of quivers destroy the enemy and vanish to reappear in the quiver. He also gave devine sword to Lakshmana which has power to to conquer all three worlds by this sword Lakshmana cut the nose of Surpankha (sister of demon Rawana). He gave a divine Arrow to Lord Rama by which lord Shiva killed demon Tripura.

It is said that if all the spiritual power of north put on one side and Maharshi Agastya on another side. Then the side of Agastya will won. Maharshi Agastya is well known figure in whole South India , South Asia and Southeast Asia.

महर्षि अगस्त्य :हिन्दू ऋषि , महान तेजस्वी , शिक्षक , आध्यात्मिक गुरु , लोक कल्याणकारी

महर्षि अगस्त्य वैदिक काल के एक महान , ज्ञाता और आध्यात्मिक गुरु थे |उन्होंने अपनी पत्नी के साथ ऋग्वेद का कुछ अंश भी लिखा था | उनके आध्यात्मिक विकास के कारण एक दिव्य ज्योति हमेशा उनके चारों और रहती थी | हिंदू धार्मिक ग्रंथों के अनुसार उन्होंने विंध्यांचल पर्वत को पैरों से दबाकर बढ़ने से रोक दिया था और इसी कारण उन्हें अगस्त्य कहते हैं (अग + स्तंभ) |

एक बार देवताओं की सहायता के लिए अगस्त्य नेअंजुल में समस्त सातों समुंदरों को पी लिया था ताकि देवता समुद्रों में छिपे राक्षसों का विनाश कर सकें |

हिंदू धार्मिक ग्रंथों जैसे रामायण के अनुसार महर्षि अगस्त्य को भगवान विष्णु ने स्वयं तमिल भाषा का ज्ञान दिया था इसीलिए अगस्त्य को तमिल भाषा का जनक माना जाता है और उन्होंने ही आरंभिक तमिल व्याकरण लिखी थी |

उन्होंने वैदिक कालीन विज्ञान और चिकित्सा में भी महत्वपूर्ण योगदान दिया था | महर्षि अगस्त्य कावेरी नदी को ब्रह्मलोक से कमंडल में भरकर पृथ्वी लोक पर लाए थे |

हिंदू ग्रंथ रामायण के अनुसार वनवास के दौरान भगवान श्री राम अपनी पत्नी सीता व भाई लक्ष्मण के साथ महर्षि अगस्त्य के आश्रम में गए थे वहां पर ऋषि अगस्त्य ने भगवान श्रीराम को विश्वकर्मा द्वारा विष्णु के लिए बनाया गया धनुष दिया था जो शत्रु के किसी भी अस्त्र या शस्त्र से नहीं टूट सकता था इसी धनुष से भगवान श्रीराम ने कई राक्षसों का वध किया था | ऋषि अगस्त्य ने भगवान श्रीराम और लक्ष्मण को दो दिव्य तुणीर भी दिए जो उन्हें इंद्र से प्राप्त हुए थे यह तूणीर अक्षय थे इनमें रखे चार बाण कभी भी समाप्त नहीं होते थे यह चारों बाण शत्रु का नाश करके विलीन हो जाते थे और फिर से अपने तुणीर में प्रकट हो जाते थे |
उन्होंने भगवान श्रीराम को एक दिव्य बाण भी प्रदान किया जिससे भगवान शिव ने त्रिपुरा नाम के राक्षस का वध किया था | साथ ही उन्होंने लक्ष्मण को एक दिव्य तलवार दी थी जिससे तीनो लोको पर विजय प्राप्त की जा सकती थी और इसी से लक्ष्मण ने शूर्पणखा (रावण की बहन) का नाक काटा था |
महर्षि अगस्त्य ने भगवान श्रीराम को सीता की खोज के दौरान भी दैवीय शक्तियां दी थी जो रावण पर विजय पाने में सहायक थी |

ऐसा कहा जाता है कि अगर उत्तरी भाग का समस्त आध्यात्मिक बल एक पलड़े में रख दिया जाए और दूसरे पलड़े में महर्षि अगस्त्य को तो दक्षिण का पलड़ा भारी होगा |
महर्षि अगस्त्य समस्त दक्षिण भारत दक्षिण पूर्वी एशिया दक्षिण एशिया एशिया जैसे श्रीलंका इंडोनेशिया में बहुत ही प्रसिद्ध हैं महर्षि अगस्त्य अपने आध्यात्मिक तेज और संसार के कल्याण के लिए जाने जाते हैं |

The first day (EKAM / PADAVA) of sukla paksha of Chaitra month (March / April) of Hindu calendar is the starting of Hindu calendar new year.
On the ninth day (NAVMI) of this month Lord RAMA was born . According to the Hindu religious texts in satyuga on this day Lord RAMA was born to Queen kaushalya wife of Ayodhya (Presently in Uttar Pradesh of India) king Dashrath . रामनवमी का पर्व

हिंदू धर्म में चैत्र मास की शुक्ल पक्ष की एकम् को हिंदू नववर्ष शुरू होता है। चैत्र मास में ही शुक्ल पक्ष की नवमी को रामनवमी का पर्व मनाया जाता है। हिंदू धार्मिक ग्रंथों के अनुसार सतयुग मे इस दिन दशरथ की पत्नी कौशल्या के गर्भ से भगवान श्रीराम ने जन्म लिया था जो धर्मपुरूष के नाम से जानें जाते हैं और श्रीराम ने राक्षस रावण का वध किया था।

इस उपलक्ष में यह पर्व हिंदू धर्म में हर वर्ष हर्षोल्लास से मनाया जाता है।
