A lightweight jacket is a wardrobe essential during warm weather months, and what I really want now is a white-hot blazer to keep me from freezing in the chilly indoors.  It will be my main go-to topper from now to late fall.  I’m especially loving the look of a crisp white blazer teamed with playful and bright shorts – a great mix of chic summer style!

The combo of vibrant white and pastel is incredibly summery.  I would also pair the blazer with a cute sundress and these coral pumps for a girlie date look.

This years Met Gala theme is punk.  Love that… bring on the studs, chains, killer stilettos and everything else edgy and sexy, but most importantly, a rockin’ bod to flaunt.  And here are the best dressed beauties at the Met Gala fashion extravaganza!

Best Dressed Models – Chanel Iman, Anja Rubik, Cara Delevinge, Gisele Bundchen.  No surprise that these ladies are looking ultra fab… they are models after all.  The side-swept hairdo on each model is definitely punk-appropriate. HOT!  Totally obsessed with Cara’s outrageously sexy Burberry dress.

Best Dressed Celebs – Anne Hathaway, Kate Beckinsale, Rooney Mara, Kate Bosworth.  What smashing dresses on these ladies.  Although, I’m not too fond of the shoes on Rooney & Kate Bostworth.  Anne Hathaway (unexpected pick) nailed a punk-glam look without looking juvenile like Miley Cyrus.  And Rooney’s accessory choice – the lack there of – is perfection!

My glam-rock ensemble inspired by Met Gala.  The summery mint dress and black/white pumps are on my must-have list as they are actually affordable.

Bold, eye-catching coral heels give a colorful upgrade to any outfit making them perfect for the spring/summer season.  I’m loving the peep-toe style to showcase my pretty pedicure at the same time.

I’m wearing the Jessica Simpson Carri (in tomato red).  The color is rather orangey-red much like hot coral in person (not as reddish as appears in photos).  So pretty, so vibrant! Jessica Simpson’s shoes are girlie while sexy (many with platform heels) and affordable as well!

Bring on your sexy strut by pairing the coral pumps with shorts, mini dress or skirt.  And of course, I would wear these shoes with skinny jeans any day (sorry boyfriend jeans… I’m just not into saggy types).  Let these bright heels pop by keeping the rest of the outfit neutral.  I up the summery vibe with Essie nail color in Lapis of Luxury (lavender-blue).

I’ve got can’t-miss coral platform pumps for every budget.  A cheery nail color is a must for the look that echoes summer!

Melissa + Karl Lagerfeld collaboration has created some fun pairs of jelly shoes.  Among the collection, these ice cream cone heels (Melissa Incense + Karl Lagerfeld) win my vote hands down.  They are chicly delicious and fun.

I find this particular pair (off white with pink glitter ice cream… yum) is perfect for summertime and a great way to give an outfit some pop.  Yum!

The heels would look so cute with a mint peplum tank, crochet shorts, and chandelier earrings in pretty pastel tones.

How about in black jelly with purple glitter ice cream?  Too dark in my opinion.  Plus, scratches and scuffs are more noticeable on black plastic.

I can’t believe it’s May already!  I’m feeling a beach trip coming on this month… it’s the best time to visit the beach before the sweating season takes over.  Time to shape up hard, and get me some new bikini sets.  Yay!  Sunday is Cinco de Mayo so I’m having a little Mexican fiesta at home (with homemade margaritas).  Hope you all have something fun planned as well.  Be safe and stay fashion fabulous everyone!

A classic trench is a must have for any lady’s wardrobe, and this pale pink trench coat from Topshop wins my vote for one to own for spring & summer 2013!  The classic style is destined to keep you looking chic in a delightful shade of pastel pink.

And pairing with black stilettos along with a set of red lips, how could you resist?

With amazing weather and nature in full bloom, spring is the perfect season to celebrate all sorts of events and parties.  There are a slew of invitations going out this time of the year, and not surprisingly mostly being outdoors.  As I’m thoroughly enjoying a gorgeous spring day, I couldn’t resist putting together a fanciful look that is ideal for all sorts of affairs including weddings, cocktails and outdoor parties.

First on my list is this pink taffeta dress (perfect for a warm outdoor wedding).  The style is deliciously pretty while the solid color keeps it chic.  And what lady would say no to a Jimmy Choo pair especially these crystal-embellished heels.  I think the shoes and the dress are perfectly chic together.

Now the fun part… let’s breakout some major bling.  I would love to add a new set of sparkles to my hand with a dazzling eternity band – a single row of diamond/gold to wear with my wedding ring.  That would be sweet.  Or, even better, a stack of eternity rings (talking about mad sparkles!) would make a brilliant statement no doubt.  For now, I must opt for gemstones or cz’s since it will take eons to acquire diamond bands.  Not into rings?  You can go for a similar style on a bigger scale with bangle bracelets.

More sparkles?  Yes, please!  A clutch bag with shoulder chain is your best party accessory – and this small box clutch is jewelry in itself.  Lastly, add a swipe of shimmering pink tint across your lips for a kissable pout.
