Guy Denning ,Self-Taught Artist From Occupied Wall Street

I have found this amazing artist when I am watching that Wall Street occupy protests,, I always think that United states is pretty safe and prosperous place, I have never seen United States guys while protesting , I suppose they were happy with their insurance and health care systems.As an European citizen I always thought that United States people are lack of protest culture,but time is changing I have never been there but I did not see any molotov cocktail throwing anarchists in United States. I think Greece is more cooler place than United States when you think about politic struggle, they know what they want.But it seems
Americans are not happy about their life insurance, health care system and colleges.

By the way this artist draws on newspapers cardboards , and other homeless stuffs it reminds me Jean-Michel Basquiat . Basquiat was homeless African artist. But Basquiat was different he choose to live in street because of his bohemian life style ,instead of have to live in streets like %99 .

Guy Denning is self -taught artist, it means he did not go to art college never studied art. he is pretty good for self-taught artist .Generally I don not like self taught artists, they end like street portrait painter with generally boring paintings on giclee prints.

His figures and portraits are decent there is no clue for any mistakes.Yeah I know
I should not be too harsh to these uneducated artists. I guess it suits concept of Wall Street demonstration thing, he was too poor to go art college but he is still rocks, like 99 percent. Actually going art school is waste of money if you live in United States , I have never heard good art school in United States, all is money based businesses.

To sum up guy denning is a good guy and artist, I wish luck him on his art performance

"Work Of Art : The Next Great Artist",Winner Abdi Farah

I recently watched T.V show Work Of Art: The Next Great Artist 1 st season ,it is a pretty decent show and it is really fun for arty people .Sometimes I have lost my temper for some judges choices, especially choices about this Miles freak.His artworks are useless and nonsense. and he acts like weird crazy artist, but he is just a ordinary guy with skills of plumber. And instead of these perks he is the number one douche bag in all time , I hated him.I can punch him face .Lots of people hated him too.

I am quite happy for the winner of first season. Abdi Farah is a good and talented artist, his figurative paintings and sculptures are really amazing.But my opinion he has some issues about being creative.

I had really had fallen in love with his "A Shock to the System" sculpture ,it is very successful piece ,when compare with other works.As I mentioned he is not very creative he is quite religious black male , his religious references on his artworks are annoying and cliche .I guess his religious nature his weak part,being conservative catholic in art world is not best thing I suppose, this kind of religious things can block his creativity.

By the way I am really happy for the winner , maybe he is the one of the most deserving person that 100.000 $ prize and Brooklyn Museum exhibition. He is hard working good artist.Instead of Miles douche bag , I can not believe that kind of person can be so popular by doing crap like these. Social capabilities have to be really works in these T.V shows .That douche try to act like obsessive compulsive while facing with judges.But in real life he has a very good socials skills which serves him well in show.

To sum up he is just paid actor of art world.

Amazing A song of ice and fire illustrations by toerning, i could not find lots of information about artist but his works look decent. Artist using both acrylic and watercolour , he is good at digital drawing too.
Use of brushes traditional, and my opinion lack of style. But colour theory , form , shape and value is fine.
And the theme of artworks are cool, I mean cool for me. I like the Game Of Thrones tv series.I try to read the book too , but i am quite lazy to this, i am sure that book would cooler than series.

As you know , in 21 century in the age of contemporary art. Well educated decent artists have to improve themselves in another ways too.
Nowadays we are living in the age of changes, everything changes, politics, economics, social issues.Furthermore art means change and improvement . Artists have to be fresh and new, we have to improve ourselves both in ideas and technics.And of course every art student have to work hard and study basic art principles and traditional art. But also artist have to invert new things for life and culture.
To sum up meet with Kris Trappeniers and her tools of trade and have really interesting series of portraits. She do not use pencils ,oils and brushes any more .But she can still create really impressive works of art...

Disneys characters always inspiring for me since when i was younger.

I remember that I drew Disney characters on my own, while watching them.

Lion King and Pocahontas was my favorite.Then after joining art school

like all artist candidates all is about nude girls and boys, I don not bother about it

.I really like comic style illustrations, and mashing up Disney and Marvel(western)

style is really cool idea.Although sexier Disney princess is fine for me as well.

But I don not know what Disney thinks about this, you know Disney has a strict

policies about copyright and adult content.

As you know nowadays in architecture industry traditional renderings are not very popular.

all presentation stuff made by 3d real-time rendering and modelling software and engines like 3dsmax,

vray,skecthup,blender,mental-ray.

But I were a customer I am sure that i will be more fascinated by presentation ,if it would rendered

by hand. maybe this is my choice or this my eyes.Industry is ruling by full of rich fat rich rats. And the most

important thing for them is making money, and right investment. I can understand this but day by day

architectural design goes bad . This is the lack of talent . 3d rendering softwares can only imitate

real life, cold unemotional real life by cold machines. And as I see that in design and architecture education

nobody cares about traditional arts, they suppose that talent and being creative is another thing

and do not requires drawing skills.Then please could someone tell me what is that talent thing.

I trained my eyes with my drawing skills in tons of years .And what i except what I got.

Frigging bloody industry which is running by rich fat hipster rats.

After this anger tantrum,I want to introduce you architectural illustrator and photographer

Evan Wakelin, Canadian artist has fantastic illustrations,having lots of details makes his artworks really rich,

colour scheme is naive .It looks like he used ball-point pen and watercolour but I am not sure maybe

there can be some computer touching as well.In old good times watercolour and ballpoint pen was really popular in architectural illustrations.
