We are planning to re-decorate our kitchen. Nothing super drastic, the cabinets and counters are staying (they’re still good) but the look needs updating and the appliances need replacing. Since the kitchen was actually pretty clean, I decided to get a "before" photo.

I shot this with the lens way stopped down to get the most in foucs. If you don’t know this, when you shoot at really small aperatures, dusty sensors become a lot more of an issue, and mine is no exception. I cloned/healed most out, but there are still a lot of spots.

Time to get a sensor cleaning kit.

Here a (soon to be) co-worker is setting up to DJ an event being held at the studio. How can you not like a place that has a set of 1200’s and a PA system?

The is the main Milwaukee Post Office, as seen from the river. At least it once was the main office, I’ve been told most major operations for the area are in Oak Creek now and that this building may eventually be sold.

My guess is architectually, at one point this building was considered pretty modern, but the rust stained concrete seems to tell more of a story of its age

It’s late, but I wanted to post some shots I did tonight (I’m way behind on project 365 – they are there, just had to move this along quickly) I got to photograph the John Mayer concert at Milwaukee’s Bradley Center tonight. I got the opportunity from my music writer friend, Cal Roach who was covering the concert for Jam Base.

Say what you want about John Mayer. I will say this, he put on an amazing show.

And, yeah, I now know why people like shooting rock concerts.

We are planning on ditching our satellite service and swtiching to watching most TV either over-the-air, or online. To facilitate this, I build a Windos Media Center PC for the living room. Here it is nestled in the AV cabinet.

My parents got me a new fishing pole for chrismas (we we just recently got a chance to celebrate with them). This is replacing one I’ve had since the age of about 14.

I’m getting rid of a bunch of stuff in the house, including my original XBox, I made this shot for the eBay auction.

From a technical standpoint, I got lazy on this one and shot this available light under some flourescent lights. In order to blow out the white and have a decent range of focus, this is a 4sec exposure.

This is my first lens – a Canon EF-S17-85mm f/4-5.6 which was the kit lens that came with my 20D. I’m probably going to be listing it on ebay soon since I never use it any more.
