One of my least favorite chores is of course bathroom cleaning. There is nothing dun about xleaning and scrubbing toilets and tubs. NLAH! I recently had the chance to try out the new Purex detergent with Crystals fragrance. Now, I am not usually someone that uses fabric softener, but previously K tried out the Purex crystals and really liked them. Because of this I was excited to try out a detergent that already included crystals. Let's face it, I truly dislike doing laundry so I want to get in there and get out. Any extra steps that I can cut out is wonderful to me. Now if only Purex could get my laundry to fold itself!

A new laundry detergent does make laundry a bit more exciting...just a bit! I'm always curious on if I will like the smell and if it really will get our clothes clean and get rid of the dirt. The first load of laundry I tried Purex with crystals on included my hubby's work clothes. Now with his job, his clothes can get smelly and dirty easily. Does anyone have any tips for morning/all day sickness. lol. I usually have it the worst at nightime. I would prefer natural ways as I don't want to have to take meds. It's mostly nausea, I can keep most things down except at night.

What are some items that you loved during pregnancy? I know there are a lot of products that really aren't *necessary* but are great to have around! Do you have any favorites that you would reccomend?

It's been a bit quiet around here lately, but it is about to get busy. I have been coming home lately from working and taking long naps and of course spending a lot of time with my friend the toilet.... YES! That's right. I am FINALLY pregnant.Woohoo! We are so thrilled. Thank you God! Our second frozen transfer worked and I am 10 weeks pregnant with a beautiful little gummy bear, pictures to come! We have had three amazing ultrasounds so far and been able to hear our baby's sweet heartbeat. Words can't even describe how happy I feel. The first time I saw those pretty pink lines I thought I was going to faint. It's unbelievable and brings me to tears just thinking about it. I am praying for a healthy pregnancy and baby. It is still hard to believe that at the end of April I will be snuggling my own baby. Such a miracle!

Dry Idea Advanced Dry Deodorant Giveaway

I learned early on that not all deodorants are the same. I have tried many kinds. One of the most important things to me is how long it lasts. It doesn't need to have a special scent or anything amazing about the design. I just don't want to have to reapply more than once a day. The last thing on my mind when I am at work and busy or at the gym is putting extra deodorant on. And I do not want to be *that* woman. I was given the opportunity to review the new Dry Idea deodorant. I really like how long the Dry Idea works for protection from odors.

I was able to review the roll on, but I also bought the clear gel form. I was really excited to try out the new Dry Idea in the clear gel form. I'm not a huge fan of most solid deodorants. They tend to feel chalky, and nothing is worse than getting the residue on your clothing. That always seems to happen when I wear a black shirt. So for me a gel was great to try, even though there are some solid form deodorants that are great.

I haven't tried the invisible solid yet, but I'm sure it's great, since it is similar to the gel, and leaves nothing behind.

The roll on is of course easy to use. There is no white residue to be left behind on your skin or on your clothing. When you put it on nothing is left for the eyes to see. It contains no water.It is time released for longer lasting odor protection. It really works well for preventing sweat. Just roll on and go!

No roughness to the gel, like some cleansers have. It also smelled AMAZING. Such a gentle, relaxing smell. It removed my makeup easily and gently and left my skin feeling silky smoothe.

They really do have a large line of skin & body care products, so I am sure you can find something that will fulfill your needs. A week from today my life could be changed forever. Actually, it will. No matter the results, I know I will be affected. Next week I will be having my frozen embryo transfer. A few months ago I went through the process of Invitro Fertilization. It's not something I ever imagined needing to do. I'm young and healthy, I should be glittering fertility. Unfortunately, it's not always like what we are told in school. It's not always that easy to get pregnant, and I have learned that over the past couple of years of trying to conceive and having a miscarriage.

Never in my life did I think I would be so used to giving myself injections that I would do it as naturally as breathing. Over the last 2 years I have been poked, prodded, choked down meds, gave myself injections, and showed my "hooha" to more doctors than I'd like to admit. After several rounds of clomid, iuis, injectables, IVF gave us hope. I've cried myself to sleep...heck I've broken down in hysterics for no apparent reason at all. I've thrown a plate at the wall and fallen apart more times in the past 2 years than I had my entire life. There were so many times that I felt like a failure. Every negative pregnancy test was like a slap in the face. Month after month passed and each time I was so certain I was pregnant, only to be let down. I went through so many pregnancy tests, that I'm sure Clearblue and First Response's stock was sky high;) Apparently, I enjoyed torturing myself as I used test after test.

Trying to conceive is EXPENSIVE. We spent our entire savings + some on infertility treatments. I knew raising a child is expensive, but never imagined that making a baby could get so costly!

Thankfully, I connected with people online who are going through similar things and have struggled the same way I have, some for so many more years than I. Some of my closest friends are people I have never met, but someday hope to. They are the women, in addition to my amazing husband, who have showed me the light at the end of the tunnel and kept my hope alive.

My IVF transfer was canceled in March due to my blood levels fluctuating. 5 embryos made it for us to be able to freeze. The wait began again and the days seemed to creep by, but it's FINALLY almost here. Next week I could be pregnant. I am so excited, nervous, and scared. All of these struggles, heartache, and pain has been no picnic, but has been so worth it to even have the chance at getting pregnant.

I'm trying so hard to be optimistic and think positively. DH and I have had wanted and waited for this so long. It just has to work. I don't want to be let down. I just want to be a mother.

Quick & Easy Chicken Recipe

I found this recipe online at allrecipes and I LOVE it. Mine doesn't come out as pretty as the picture, but it is so delicious. It is really easy to make.

Ingredients

2 tablespoons olive oil
1 onion, chopped
4 skinless, boneless chicken breast halves
3 tablespoons ketchup
2 tablespoons soy sauce
3 tablespoons white sugar
2 tablespoons lemon juice
1 teaspoon ground black pepper

Directions

Saute onion in oil until translucent.
Add chicken, and brown lightly.
Combine ketchup, soy sauce, sugar, lemon juice, and pepper; mix well. Pour over chicken, and bring to a boil. Cover, reduce heat, and simmer for 25 to 35 minutes.

I love that the margaritas are SO easy to make. Just put the mix, ice, and some tequila (if you like) into a blender and you are ready to drink it up. I did my margaritas on the rocks so I just skipped over the blending.

Vacation!

Anyone going somewhere exciting for vacation this year? Last year we went on a cruise and it was amazing. This year we have nothing big planned. I hope that changes! We have a family wedding to go to in June, but we will only be there for a couple of days. It's will be great to see family. I'm hoping that dh and I can go somewhere even just for a weekend and be pampered and relax! Until then, I'll be dreaming about the beach and warm weather.
