They are making great progress on the new houses being built on Euclid Ave where the Lizzie Chapel parking lot used to be. Even with all the rain things are going great as you can see from the photos. I'm looking forward to seeing the finished product!

Euclid Ave - Inman Park

It's been a long time coming but the new build on Euclid Ave is finally underway. Thrive Homes is building 3 new Inman Park style homes where the Lizzie Chapel parking lot used to be. They did a great job on other homes they worked on in the neighborhood so this shouldn't be any different. I'm looking forward to seeing the progress over the next few months.

Well the new build continues in Inman Park. The photos above and below show a new build that is currently happening on Hale Street in Inman Park. Looks like they are doing an amazing job with great attention to detail. It definitely is a huge step up from the old delapidated eye sore that was there before!

Cameli's Little 5 Points

Cameli's just opened their new location on Moreland Ave in Little 5 Points about a week ago. The restaurant is right next to Front Page News and Tijuana Garage. They offer specialty pizzas and other Italian delights. Parking is easy. They have their own lot behind the building and there is an overflow lot right next to that.

The servers were all super friendly and great with answering any questions. They have seating on 2 different levels and there is also outdoor seating upstairs which is awesome. Everything is new and squeaky clean. The food was fantastic. I had the Papa C specialty pizza and it was just bursting with flavor. All in all a great addition to the neighborhood and I'll definitely be going back. For more info click here.

Springvale Park Alligator

Yes, there's an alligator living in Springvale Park located in the Inman Park neighborhood. Of course it's not real. Some of the nice residents put the alligator in the pond to scare off the Canadian Geese that have been harassing our nice neighborhood goose Lucy. As you can see from the photos below there are still some Canadian geese on the pond but hopefully they will be behaving themselves.

The Beltline is a 22 mile network of public parks and multi-use trails surrounding Atlanta. It's going to take some years to get everything completed but it's coming along and starting to shape up. For more info click here.
