In this podcast series, I aim to tell you a detailed history of the Catholic Church from its foundations up to the present day.&nbsp; We've got about two thousand years of history to go over.&nbsp; And, man, some of it has GOT to be the most fascinating stuff that ever happened.&nbsp; I mean, come on.&nbsp; The Cadaver Synod?&nbsp; You can't get much more strange and unique than that, the body of a pope was put on trial!&nbsp; What about St. Lawrence?&nbsp; When he was martyred by burning on a spit, he told his executors, "Turn me over, I'm done on this side."&nbsp; He's now the patron saint of comedians, roasters, and firefighters.&nbsp; A little on the nose? Maybe, but come on, it's kinda funny, you have to admit.]]></description>
