Australian duo The Presets have released the video for their latest single ‘Fall’.

The track, taken from their 2012 album ‘Pacifica’, was directed by Clemens Habicht.

The video comes in tandem with the release of the group’s ‘Fall – Remix EP’, which sees a range of artists, from Hook N Sling, Erick Rincon and Tomas Barfod to Ta-Ku, Alan Braxe & SymbolOne lend their talents to the track.

In light of Cannes Film Festival, Hit The Floor have decided to compile a list of what we believe are the Top 10 Foreign Language/ Foreign films of all time. But before all you film buffs get your He-Man panties in a twist, we are fully aware that there have been so many decent foreign films over the years but alas, we could only pick 10! We’re sure we would be able to very easily compile a list of the top million but who would want to read that?? So, take a look below at our suggested top 10 foreign films and let us know what you think!

10. The Motorcycle Diaries (2004) - Walter Salles

Based on true accounts by the real Che Guevara whilst travelling around Latin America on a motorcyle; young Ernesto goes on a massive trip to self discovery and finally finds his calling in life.

What Makes It ‘Top’:- A tale about one of the most controversial revolutionists of Latin America. This film gives the audience an insight into the humanity of Che Guevara.

9. The Good, The Bad, The Weird (2008) - Jee-Woon Kim

Tells the tale of two outlaws and a bounty hunter in Manchuria. The film follows the trio’s fight to obtain an elusive treasure map, whilst being hunted down by the Japanese government and Chinese criminals.

What Makes It ‘Top’:- An endearing Korean western with just enough silliness to make The Hangover look like a serious documentary on Stag Dos Gone Wild!

8. Amelie (2001) - Jean-Pierre Jeunet 

A quirky and lighthearted film about a young innocent woman who lives in a small cosy apartment in Paris. Amelie makes it her mission to help everyone around her and along the way discovers what it means to be loved.

What Makes It ‘Top’:- The iconic and beautiful location shots of Paris and Audrey Tautou‘s innocent aura makes this film extremely cute and a must see.

7. Metropolis (1927) - Fritz Lang

A science fiction adaptation of Shakespeare‘s Romeo and Juliet (sort of!) A futuristic city is divided between the working class and the rich bourgeois who rule them. When the city’s mastermind falls in love with a working class prophet, it is predicted that a saviour will come and save the working class from this slavery.

What Makes It ‘Top’:- Silent cinema’s most expensive and extravagant film. The riot scene is extremely mesmerising and embodies the legacy of Lang.

6. City Of God (2002) - Fernando Meirelles

Focusing on the drug culture in Rio de Janeiro, two young boys are trying to make something of themselves but get sucked into the criminal goings-on in order to survive.

What Makes It ‘Top’:- No Hollywood film will allow a long scene showing hundreds of kids getting massacred. Shocking but ultimately very well dealt with.

5. The Skin I Live In (2011) - Pedro Almodovar

A plastic surgeon, damaged by his past, creates a new type of skin that can withstand anything. This skin is tested on a mysterious young woman who is kept captive in his mansion. But why is the there?

What Makes It ‘Top’:- A far cry from his normal heroic protagonists, Antonio Banderas plays an obsessive homosocial character who is ruthless as he is romantic. With a massive twist, The Skin I Live In is not one to be missed.

4. Battle Royale (2000) - Kinji Fukasaku

You know The Hunger Games? Well, it looks like author Suzanne Collins had to get her inspiration from somewhere and it seems to be Fukasaku‘s Battle Royale. Under the revolutionary “Battle Royale” act, the Japanese government kidnap a class of students and force them to fight to the death.

What Makes It ‘Top’:- The fact that one of the best selling teen books and film franchises is based on this narrative means it has got to be good right?

3. Oldboy (2003) - Chan-wook Park

An incredible mysterious drama, which finds Oh Dae-Su who is randomly released after being imprisoned for 15 years. Dae-Su has just 5 days to find out who is captor is. This leads to some horrible truths.

What Makes It ‘Top’:- Well if it’s not a man eating a live octopus, or the single-shot corridor fight scene, then the ending twist will blow your brains out.

2. Nosferatu (1922) - F. W. Murnau

Back when vampires were not your overly romantic, sparkling teenagers; but your cold-blooded killers. Nosferatu, based on Bram Stoker’s Dracula, sees Count Orlok as he expresses an infatuation with a real estate agents wife.

What Makes It Good:- Silent, terrifying and the iconic use of chiaroscuro lighting makes Nosferatu a perfect blend of old school horror.

And Number 1 is…..

1. Pans Labyrinth (2006) - Guillermo del Toro

Probably THE most watched sub-titled film! Set during the Spanish civil war, young Ofelia is forced to stay with her sadistic army leader stepfather. Wanting to escape the horrors of war; Ofelia seeps into a fantasy world. But, not even fantastical lands can escape the reality of death.

What Makes It Good:- Brilliantly acted, perfectly toned and unlike any other fantasy we have seen; Pans Labyrinth is beautifully devastating. Featuring that iconic hand-eyed monster, which will still be the most terrifying villain to date!

When talking to Larry King Now, actor and writer Dan Aykroyd gave a small insight into the narrative behind Ghostbusters 3. Aykroyd stated that the plot will include, “new research that’s being done in particle physics by the young men and women at Columbia University…. I can say that the world or our dimension that we live in, our four plans of existence – length, height, width and time – become threatened by some of the research that is being done. And Ghostbusters, new Ghostbusters, have to come and solve the problem”.

Four new Ghostbusters? Hmm… we are a bit wary of this. Murray’s Venkman was such a timeless character that nobody could possibly live up to his standards…right? But this is all we know for now! When we find out more, you will be the first ones to know!

Madonna is the latest star to have announced she will be joining Beyoncé Knowles and Jennifer Lopez on stage during Gucci’s Sound of Change concert in London. The signer will also be joined by a line of high profile presenters including the likes of Jessica Chastain, Blake Lively, Freida Pinto, Zoe Saldana and James Franco at Twickenham Stadium.

The  four hour event, which consists of performances from Beyoncé and Lopez as well as Florence and the Machine, Ellie Goulding, Rita Ora and HAIM, is in aid for Gucci’s Chime for Change charity – with all proceeds going towards highlighting women’s issues globally, calling for better education, health and justice..

 Speaking out about joining the line up, Madonna said: “60 per cent of the children in the world not in school are girls. Two thirds of the world’s illiterate are women! I do not accept this. We need to change this and we will change this!”

The Sound of Change concert takes place on June 1 at Twickenham Stadium. You can buy tickets here.

Keen shoppers could be treated to a second Calvin Klein Collection high street collaboration. Creative director Francisco Costa has hinted that he is working on an up and coming partnership to b debuted in the near future.

Having previously collaborated with high street store Macy’s it seems the designer is eager to do more. “I just did this line for Macy’s,” he said. “I’m in the process of doing another line for somebody else, with another company, through Calvin.” 

With designer clients, such as Katie Holmes whom he dressed for the recent Met Ball, Costa’s new collaboration is highly anticipated. Talking about Miss Holmes in a recent interview, he said:

“[Katie Holmes] had fitted the dress, loved the dress and I said, at the last minute, that I had another dress I’d like to try. She says, ‘Oh my God, I like this dress better,’ and she really brightened up. So I said, ‘That’s the one we have to go with’. The original dress was beautiful, very much like the spring collection that’s in the [Costume Institute] exhibition – it’s a beautiful bustier, deep green with a peplum and separate skirt.”

The Brazilian also shared with the press that his favourite red carpet moment was dressing Jennifer Lawrence for her first Oscars appearance in 2011:“I think Jennifer was amazing just for the fact that she came out of nowhere and her image was so different that how she had been portrayed and it made such a statement – I thought she was so beautiful. Everything worked, the hair, everything was amazing.”

British fashion label Burberry has seen profits soar within the last year having breaking last year’s company record of £428 million. The increase is said to be due to the brand entering Asia, with the region now representing 35% of the label’s sales.

Total full-year group sales are said to have risen by 8%, while retail revenues were up 12%. Burberry are also doing well in their more established markets with sales in Europe and the US having increased by 6%.

Following the news, Burberry chief executive Angela Ahrendts released a statement, which read: “Finishing the year with a strong retail performance both online and offline, Burberry achieved record revenue and profit in 2012-13. Looking ahead, although the macro environment remains uncertain, Burberry is well positioned with opportunity by channel, region and product. With the integration of beauty in April, we have added another exciting growth platform. Our brand momentum, proven strategies and closely connected global team provide confidence in Burberry’s future performance.”
