High Construction is currently serving as design-builder for the 18,000 sf expansion to Bar Harbor Seafood’s existing 21,000 sf facility in Orlando. The facility’s addition will support Bar Harbor’s burgeoning business based on growing demand from Florida’s restaurants as consumers begin to dine out more often.</p><p>The new addition will feature a zero-degree freezer, new 40-degree cold dock, vestibule, receiving office and two state-of-the-art large live lobster float tanks in a separate holding room. Construction will include a continuous concrete foundation, concrete stem wall, slab on grade and pre-engineered metal building structure with insulated wall panels and standing seam roof. The design-build project, designed by Orlando Architect Anthony L. Lepore, will also include four new dock pits/levelers with insulated doors. Sitework includes 41 parking spaces, trucking area with heavy-duty concrete and asphalt pavement and new site lighting. The project consists of the renovation of an existing 71,800 sf milk bottling facility and construction of a new 14,000 sf 34° cooler. H. J. High is currently serving the School Board of Volusia County as Construction Manager for the Starmer Ranaldi Architecture designed Master Plan Redevelopment of Ormond Beach Middle School. The project will essentially replace every building on campus while maintaining full student occupancy throughout. As of May 1, 2011, the project has started the third phase of construction. The first phase (June 2008-December 2009), included renovations of the gymnasium building and new construction of a two story classroom building and two story Administration/Media Center. It was completed on time and under budget. The second phase which was completed March 14, 2011 was 5 weeks ahead of schedule and under budget. The savings from the previous phases of construction have allowed the third phase to include a new Career Education Building as well as the originally planned 2-story classroom building. Completion of the final phase of the redevelopment is currently planned for Fall 2012.</p><p><strong>Phase 1:<br
