Take Ownership of a File or Folder on Windows 7

1. Open Windows Explorer, and then locate the file or folder you want to take ownership of.
2. Right-click the file or folder, click Properties, and then click the Security tab.
3. Click Advanced, and then click the Owner tab.
4. Click Edit, and then do one of the following:
a) To change the owner to a user or group that is not listed, click Other users and groups and, in Enter the object name to select (examples), type the name of the user or group, and then click OK.
b) To change the owner to a user or group that is listed, in the Change owner to box, click the new owner.
5. (Optional) To change the owner of all subcontainers and objects within the tree, select the Replace owner on subcontainers and objects check box.

Additional considerations
An administrator can take ownership of any file on the computer.
Assigning ownership of a file or a folder might require you to elevate your permissions by using User Access Control.
To open Windows Explorer, click Start, point to All Programs, click Accessories, and then click Windows Explorer.
You can transfer ownership in two ways: The current owner can grant the Take Ownership permission to others, allowing those users to take ownership at any time. A user granted the Take Ownership permission can take ownership of the object or assign ownership to any group that the user is a member of. A user who has the Restore files and directories privilege can double-click Other users and groups and choose any user or group to assign ownership to.
The Everyone group no longer includes the Anonymous Logon group.

install windows 7 from usb drive

Step 1 – Let’s create a bootable USD Drive!
•Clearly, the first thing you need is a USB drive and the one I used was an 8GB Seagate model.
•Plug the drive into your PC.
•Open a command prompt as administrator.
•Get the drive number by typing:
•diskpart
•list disk
•On my machine the USB disk was number 1.
•Format the drive by typing:
•select disk 1
•clean
•create partition primary
•select partition 1
•active
•format fs=NTFS
•assign
•exit
•Mount the Windows 7 beta iso using Daemon Tools or similar.
•Navigate to the boot directory
•cd E:\boot
•Using bootsect, we’ll make the USB drive a bootable NTFS drive, ready for a Windows 7 image (my drive was labeled G):
•bootsect /nt60 G:
•We are finished with the command prompt now, so you can close it.
Step 2 – Copy the installation files from the mounted Windows 7 iso to the USB drive.

Step 3 – Install on the computer
•Plug in the USB drive and turn on computer
•On start up press to select the bootable drive
•Select the USB drive and press return
•The computer will boot from the USB drive and the installation will begin
•Install as normal.

Sometimes when you search on Google you might not get the desired results or you might need to search a lot by changing the keywords you are searching for. These tips may helpyou in getting the desired results. Read them carefully and apple them while searching on Google to get best results.

1. The “+” Sign :

Google ignores some words like the, how and many other digits and words which actually slow down the search speed. Now if a common word is essential for you and you want google to look for it the just give a space, put the “+” sign and type in the word. By this google makes sure that, that word is actually included in the search as well. I came to knew of this as i was searching for a book, but google was not showing the desired results, i used this technique and was able to get the details I was looking for.

2. Synonym Search with “~”(Tildy) Sign:

If in case you want to search for the term as well it’s synonym, then in that case just add the “~” sign just in front of your term, you will then see the links for the same terms synonym. This can be really helpful in case you are searching for some specific results

3. Use of Keyword “OR”:

In case you want the Search results to show two different categories then in that case you can use the Keyword “OR”. This will make sure that you will get the results accordingly. Similarly you can also use “AND”, but in this case google will show you pages where both the parameters are met, whereas in case of keyword “OR”, any parameter that matches up, those links will be displayed.

4. Getting links of Specific Site:

Sometimes you might visit a site but not able to find the links or accurate pages in that site. What do you do? Just click on links to get the specific page? Well a simple answer is search through Google. Suppose you want to search for groups site in google.com, then simple type in “groups site:google.com”. You will see op tins coming for the google groups. This is a pretty old method is very useful to get to a specific page of a site. The code for this would be “site:”

5. Search within a Range:

You can search in Google within a desired range be it be Money, Weight, Age or any thing else, you just need to define the range and you will get the results you require. You need to type in the range as separated by “..”. But make sure you specify the unit as well like for money, weight, length or any thing else. Like, for Example:- TV 21..32 inches.

Well I should not be adding this post but I am still adding to help you. Anyways I am not providing any links to pirated softwares :)

So how many of you have tried to find warez on google? Maybe not many, but now its easier for you to do so after reading this post.

1. Go to Google, Google China to be exact (http://www.google.com/intl/zh-cn/)
Note: The trailing forward slash is important.

2. Now, there are 3 buttons on the bottom (see in the image), but what do they mean? I also have no clue. Just click the third one.

3. Last step, just type in you program (we're going to use Adobe PS) and at the end, type cracked and download at the end, so it would be like this:

Google hacking is considered to be divided into 2 distinct categories. The first category is called ethical Google hacking, which means that people who conduct these hacking ventures on Google only aim to improve the quality of their searches in terms of results. For instance, there are additional syntax and character strings that can bolster the chances of your Google searches to provide you with the results you need.

On the other hand, unethical hacking is the process of entering private networks or sites on the Internet and offline in order to access confidential information and the like. The data that is retrieved from hacking into these sites and networks are then used for criminal activities. These criminals oftentimes use the confidential information they gain to extract passwords, banking details, credit card accounts, and even personal data that can be used to further support their criminal activities.

There is a Google hack that makes use of the filetype syntax followed by any file format directed towards a domain extension as well as the particular type of information. For instance, you can do a search on Google for all file types related to the data you want to acquire by keying in: filename:xxx site:yyy zzz where xxx is the file extension, yyy the domain extension, and zzz the type of information. In more general terms - if you wanted to have access to the confidential documents of any government, you can key in filetype:doc site:gov confidential.

Do you want to download a bunch of free videos for your cellular phone? This technique will show you how to search Google to find tons of open directories containing free cell phone videos. No P2P or torrents required. Start your collection from the open collections of others.
I know I beat this poor search technique to death; however, I always enjoy finding new uses for it.

This time we will be using a Google search to find people’s open directories of 3GP videos. This is a common video format used to view videos on cell phones.

1. Open Directories of 3GP files:

Google: -inurl:htm -inurl:html -inurl:asp intitle:”index of” 3gp

2. Specific Searches for 3GP files:

Google: filetype:3gp inurl:3gp

Now this search is not nearly as sexy as it brings in a ton of junk. However, this search casts your net wider. The magic here is the filetype and inurl filters telling google to only include these video files in your search. By leaving these filters in place, you can add more search terms to narrow your search.

For example, to search 3GP video files that are associated with rock.

Google: filetype:3gp inurl:3gp rock

Google Search Tricks

*Tip Number One:

The first thing you must do to generate a productive search is think. You need to think about what it is you really want. You really have to search Google for the words or phrases that will be *on the page you want, not for a description of the page or website. So if you are looking for a comparative review of wireless telephones, you will probably get more results from a list of names such as SmartPhone, Audiovox, Motorola, and so on, than the words "comparative review of wireless phones".

*Tip Number Two:

Use Quotation marks to force finding a specific phrase. When you surround your phrase with quotation marks, the search engine will only return results exactly matching the entire phrase. This is an extremely powerful search technique, and yet it is not used by the majority of web searchers. If you search on the two words George and Washington, you will get over 8 million results. If you put quotation marks around the entire name, your results will be restricted to about 3 million. And if your search is on "George Washington" "Cherry Tree", you will only get about 12,600 results. You get the picture. This is especially important if your search contains what are called "stop words" - words that Google is designed to ignore, such as "and" "of" and "the". By including these inside your quoted phrase, you will get more targeted search results.

*Tip Number Three:

Use the Plus (+) and Minus (-) Signs. The plus sign just before a search term means "This MUST be found in the search". Conversely, if you find a lot of search results that include a specific product, word, phrase, or item that you do not want to see, you can put a minus sign before that word or phrase, and those results will be excluded from your search. You can even exclude domains or top-level domains from your search - see the site: command below.

*Tip Number Four:

Use the Asterisk (*) As a WildCard search term. Yes, you can insert an asterisk in your search phrase and it will act as a wild card matching any word in that place in the phrase. Not only that, but you can insert more than one asterisk in place of more than one word in your search phrase, up to the limit of ten search words - and the wild card markers are not counted toward this ten word limit.

*Tip Number Five:

Use the site: command. If you are interested in finding examples of the term XMLHttp, but only on eggheadcafe.com, then you can create a search like this: site:eggheadcafe.com XMLHTTP This will restrict your search to only pages belonging to that web site. You will notice that in regular Google searches, if there are more than two results from that site, the second result will be indented and there will be a link "More results from ..." - this automatically uses the site: qualifier. Also, you can search or exclude whole domains. For example, you can search for tampopo dvd site:co.uk or tampopo dvd -site:com (Tampopo is a wonderful Japanese noodle western spoof by director Juzo Itami that is sure to be enjoyed by Americans. If you really want to get educated IMHO, try to avoid watching films out of Hollywood, as they generally stink).

*Tip Number Six:

Use the operators. Besides the site: command, Google understands a range of operators that include filetype: (eg doc, xls, or pdf), intext: and allintext:, intitle: and allintitle:, inurl: and allinurl:, author: (in Google Groups) and location: (in Google News). Google also understands a logical OR, provided it is upper case. This means you can search for a bar in Orlando OR Miami for example. It is useful when targets of searches have alternative or variable spellings: outsourcing bombay OR mumbai. The OR command can be shortened to a vertical bar (|), as in outsourcing bombay | mumbai. Another way of adding alternatives is to use a tilde character (~). Thus if you search for ~food, Google also searches for cooking, cuisine, nutrition, recipes and restaurants. You have a lot of power and flexibility; you just have to make some notes and learn the language that the search engine understands so that you can speak to it. The search engine doesn't get mad or take offense - provided that you know its language, it will do exactly what you tell it to!

*Tip Number Seven:

Use the Advanced Search Page. Fortunately, you don't need to memorize all of the above tricks, since they are conveniently offered to you in various combinations in the Advanced Search option which is always available from the main Google search page.

*Tip Number Eight:

Use Google Groups. Google has the most complete archive of usenet and other news posts going back over 20 years. By simply switching tabs from Web to Groups, your search term(s) will be repeated on the Groups archives. I cannot stress how valuable this can be- many, many times when I have not found a proper result on the web, by simply switching to Google Groups I've been able to find exactly what I was looking for.

*Tip Number Nine:

Use new advanced search features. Google has a number of new features including Google Local, Google News (news items from newspapers and other publications around the globe), Froogle - which searches for the best prices on products, and the Dictionary - to get the spelling and / or definition of a word. In fact, if you may have misspelled a word in your search, Google's dictionary will remind you with a link that says "Did you really mean XXX?" and clicking that link will correct your search. Google also provides an Images search facility that brings back results filled with actual images on web pages that match your search terms. One of the lastest new offerings as of this writing in October, 2004, is a mobile SMS search that allows you to send an SMS message to google with your search terms for a restaurant and zipcode, somebody's name and address, or whatever, and get back the results to your cellphone in seconds.

Recover Your Deleted Orkut Community

First if your community still exists and in your control, better add a co-owner for your community.

Next comes scenario where your community is deleted by mistake or by someone who has access to your account.

There is a form on Orkut which you can fill up for mistakenly deleted communities. I am not sure if this still works as it is quite old. Also I am not sure if it will work if someone first transfer your community to other account and then delete it

Please note the difference, if someone with access to your account deletes your community directly, it can count as a mistakenly deleted community.

Also for filing request to undelete your community you will need to specify a link to it. So please save a link to your community at some place which you can easily access.

You can get link to your community by opening it in a browser. When its opened, address bar will show community link only.What if I do not have community link ?

The only think matters is your community ID. Rest URL is always same like http://www.orkut.com/Community.aspx?cmm=[SOME_NUMBER]

* So do you remember a number after cmm in its link like 19587001 in above example?
* Or have you ever posted any link related to your community like link to a topic, poll, etc in any scrap or on web. Then try to find that link and find number after “cmm=”.
* Or used orkutfeeeds to subscribe to your community or any topic from it? In this case you can find cmm=ID in your feed reader. Just go through read items.
* Or just try searching your community using Orkut’s search feature. If it has recently deleted then it may show up in search results there.
* Have your ever saved your community logo on your PC? If yes then try to find that image. If you haven’t renamed it, it will have name like .jpg (ex: 19587001.jpg)

Rapidshare is the most popular site in File sharing but it restrict the free user by applyingdownload limit on daily bassis. Therefore I decided to find a trick or two to bypass the Rapidshare download limit and waiting time.

Trick No 1:
Request a new IP address from your ISP server.
1. Click Start
2. Click run
3. In the run box type cmd and click OK
4. When the command prompt opens type the following and hit enter after every new line.

Trick No 2:
Use Javascript Method
1. Goto the page you want to download
2.Choose FREE button

4.Hit OK

7. Download Your File

Trick No 3:
Erase your cookies and cache in browser you are using and try again to download the Rapidshare file again.

Trick No 4:
Use a bookmarklet to stop your wait times (Only in Internet Explorer):
1. Open IE
2. Right Click On This Link
3. Choose Add to Favorites
4. Select Yes to the warning that the bookmark may be unsafe.
5. Name it “RapidShare No Wait”
6. Click on the Links folder (if you want to display it in your IE toolbar)
7. Click OK
8. You may need to close and reopen IE to see it
9. Go to rapidshare and click the bookmarklet when you are forced to wait

Request a new IP address from your ISP server
Here's how to do it in windows:
1. Click Start
2. Click run
3. In the run box type cmd.exe and click OK
4. When the command prompt opens type the following. ENTER after each new line.

ipconfig /flushdns
ipconfig /release
ipconfig /renew
exit
5. Erase your cookies in whatever browser you are using.

Frequently you will be assigned a new IP address when this happens. Sometime you will, sometimes you will not. If you are on a fixed IP address, this method will not work. If this works for you, you may want to save the above commands into a batch file, and just run it when you need it.

How to optimize the Windows performance by removing unwanted programs from startup using windows registry. Applicable to Windows XP, Vista, Windows 2000, windows 98 and windows server.

I will start hacking tips with a very useful and easy to do job. Most of us face this problem of computer slowing down; windows operating system takes ages to load when started, windows explorer hangs up and also how to find out whether your computer is infected.
Follow these steps:
Start and click on run in case of windows XP, Server, windows 98, and 2000 but in vista type directly in search box

2. Type Regedit in the run box to open registry editor

3. Go to file menu and click on export to create a back up of registry, save it on your drive other than your default windows directory.

Find out the current programs which are starting up with windows
After opening Registry editor click on HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE
Software\
Microsoft\
Windows\
Current Version\
Run
You will see something like this on right hand pane in your registry editor

4. Now it’s time to get rid of the programs those slow down your operating system and possible may be a Trojan horse hiding in your hard disk.
Right click on any program to delete the entry, which you don’t want to be loaded during startup; personally I would only keep anti virus program entries.

now you can repeat the same process with HKEY_LOCAL_USER entries and keep only Cftmon.exe for your computer sound to be working

After deleting the unwanted program registry entries, restart the system and feel the difference in speed

The process of Hacking anyone’s id using fake login pages is known as Phishing

Now let’s learn how to create your very own fake login page.

{1} Open www.jotform.com and Sign Up.
{2} then Login there with your newly registered account.
{3} now click on ‘ Create your first form’.
{4} Now delete all the pre-defined entries, just leave ‘First Name:’ (To delete entries, select the particular entry and then click on the cross sign.)
{5} Now Click on ‘First Name:’ (Exactly on First Name). Now the option to Edit the First Name is activated, type there “username:” (for Gmail) or YahooId: (for Yahoo)

now login to your account then click on “File Manager”, then click on “upload files” or just “upload”. Then select the file which you want to send to the internet and click on upload. And you are done.
Now you can access you file on the net by just typing the url ofthe file.
And you will receive password of the users that login to your site through email-id which you’ve entered while creating the form.

If you want to change a password on your computer all you have to do is follow these directions very carefully.

1.) Go to start.
2.) Press “run”
3.) Press “cmd”
4.) After cmd.exe comes up, type “net user” and press enter.
5.) It will show all users on your computer. Pick the user from the list and type “net user (name of person)
(and the new password you want.)”
6.)Enter. It will say “The command completed successfully.”
7.) Test it.

Power Up Google Desktop with Plug-Ins

Google Desktop does plenty, but there's a lot it can't do. Wouldn't it be nice, for example, if it would sort your results by name and date? How about the ability to index and search more file types than Google Desktop can normally do?

Archives plug-in for GDS

One thing that Google Desktop Search won't do is index and search inside archives, such .zip, gz, tar, and rar. So if you have archive files, you won't be able to find what's in them. This plug-in solves the problem. It indexes and lets you search through 7z, arj, bz2, cab, gz, tar, rar, and zip archives. It also will search through nested archives as well, so if you have ZIP files within ZIP files, you'll be able to find them.

Make Firefox Run At High Speed

Follow the given steps and see your Firefox run at a high speed !!

1. In the Address Bar, Type “about:config”. This will bring up a list of commands and variables you can edit.
2. The second step is to put “network.http.pipelining” in the filter and change the value to “true”.
3. After that you will have to put “network.http.proxy.pipelining” in the filter. Similar to the second step, change that value to “true”.
4. Next, locate “network.http.pipelining.maxrequests” and change the value to some number higher, say 10,20 or even 30, it would make up to 10,20 or 30 requests at once.
5. The last step is to right click anywhere and select “New” then “Integer”. Name it “nglayout.initialpaint.delay” and make its value “0″. This will make the browser respond faster on the information of the websites it receives.
6. Close out Firefox (make sure Firefox is closed, by viewing the Task Manager : CTRL+ALT+DELETE) Now restart Firefox and enjoy the new high speed.

Lock Folders Without Any Software

Actually, there is no need to use the HIDE FOLDERS softwares, when one can lock the folders without any software, just by using some practical knowledge about computers. We'll tell you how.

Suppose you want to lock the folder 'Movies' in D drive. The folder has the following path:D:\movies.

In the same drive, create a text file and type in it:
ren movies movies.{21EC2020-3AEA-1069-A2DD-08002B30309D}

Note: Type the above content as it is shown.

Now save this text file as lock.bat
Create another text file in the same drive, and type in it:
ren movies.{21EC2020-3AEA-1069-A2DD-08002B30309D} movies

Note: Type the above content as it is shown.

Now save this text file as key.bat

Double-click on lock.bat and the folder 'Movies' will change to Control Panel and no one can view its contents.

Double-click key.bat and you will get back your original folder.

Creating MS-DOS at school
As I said before there are several ways to create the prompt (which Custard has mentioned in the "Batch File Hacking" section of the site") but most of them are blocked at school or work. The one you want at school is the notepad one (go into notepad and type "command.com", Then save as .bat). Once you've done this you should get an icon, click on it and MS-DOS should open. Congratulations youve created the Command Prompt and are ready to start hacking.There are many commands for MS-DOS (I don't even know them all, lol).
How to unblock websites
