For those who haven’t heard of TEDx, you are missing out! Go Google or YouTube videos, as there are MANY great topics and amazing and inspiring speakers whom share their thoughts in all arenas of life.

This past weekend’s TEDx event was no different.

Filling Sunbeam Theater in North Point on a Saturday afternoon, Crafthouse LLC & Creating Life were the organizers and with an array of sponsors including DFS, Invest HK, Peroni, Harbour City, and many more. The theater was quite a gem, in itself- nowadays everything is about a theater is surround sound, super reclining chairs, and digital everything… it was a treat to find a traditional stage to set this TEDx event.

Supposedly over 100,000 runners signed up… and though there seemed to be some chaos at the beginning due to people taking photos with their phones, it was a gorgeous day for a run. A very long run at that. And as the runners were able to enjoy the scenery and run safely around the barren streets of HK, including Causeway Bay– they ran past the Yee Woo Street tram shelter and may have spotted themselves actually on the tram shelter!

That’s because the weekend prior, at the Marathon Expo, POAD sponsored a booth and invited us to participate in their festivities! All the runners collecting their numbers were able to take a Photobox pic possibly ending up on the wall! A crazy 2 days, we reached a new record at almost 1900 photos!
