Haha it's true if you look at like say...A wave swim suit figure you'd wonder that, but you can get figures like this that go the extra mile. :p

Ah you my friend need to look at more boobies then! But yea they are borderline, but everything else is so nice I can forgive it.

I'm always skeptical about how much detail can actually go into figures that bare it all, but I'm surprised at how much you find in this one. Her shoes look great, and the same goes for the painted nails.

I can't say I'm an expert on boobies, but I would've thought those were fake if I saw them on a real girl :P

I'm with you, dude -- Max Factory would be wise to heed the saying "strike while the iron is hot".

I'm scared of the Tony Luka. On one hand, I don't have any Tony figures, so I'm actually not too sick of seeing his designs. On the other hand, I have a feeling that a GSC Luka in the same vein as the original Miku and Len/Rin figures will appear sooner or later. They've been taking their sweet-ass time, but hell, if I've been able to hold out for this long, a few more months/years wouldn't hurt!

Yea I was intrigued too when she first popped up but the delays has not been kind to her for me...If I didn't like LiW Miku so much I'd be afraid the same thing would happen with her. (But seriously GSC can you please stop dicking around with her...please!). Plus like you said with things like Lat Miku coming it's like "Why the hell would I want this version of her when an infintely cuter one is coming soon?".

Haha I probably will too, but I'm just so tired of Tony figures...Variety is the spice of life and all that so seeing yet more flipping Tony figures, and for a character I've been waiting ages for especially, makes me want to hurt someone. >_>

Yea from some angles the face is bearable, but...meh not worth it for a figure that only occasionally looks ok. :p

Yea a fighting stance or seeing her jumping excitedly would have been nice...I know you linked that Eris figure a few times I hope she turns out ok. ~_^

I think part of my desire to see her wear shoes is how much I like the Phantasy Star Online/Universe games. Giving Append Miku some shoes and a techno-weapon and she'd be a great PSU stand-in!

I know the Japanese aren't as bad as their American counterparts when it comes to official pictures, but I'm starting to wonder if there's not some photoshopping going on in more of these pictures.

Append Miku is really weird for me. About a year ago when photos were leaked of her original sculpt, I was all over that figure. Then we were all let down that it was a one-off thing Asai Masaki had made for kicks or something. Now that it's finally coming out... I don't want it anymore. The face doesn't look quite as ethereal and its lost quite a bit of charm after a year of 'haha, we were just messing. Oh you actually wanted it? Lets drag our feet about it'. And with other awesome Mikus ordered or coming soon: Nendo Support Miku, Nendo Snow Miku, figma Append Miku, Lat Miku, Love is War Miku (maybe someday), and 2011 Racing Miku, there are lots of choices and limited funds.

And Tony Taka Luka! I don't care if the sculpt is even so-so, as a Luka fan with limited choices, my wallet is primed xD

Append Miku has a stylish and interesting outfit and from frontal view her face looks ok. Unfortunately from other angles it doesn't look even ok anymore ^^. Seems like lat Miku will be my only preordered Miku figure, well Im no big Vocaloid fan to begin with.

This Makoto Squirrel girl has a cute face in the close up picture, but the pose is a bit boring and overall the sculpting could look more furry. I have no experience with Freeing as a figure manufacturer, but Im interested in their upcoming Eris figure.

I wonder how much return Crypton is getting out of all these Vocaloid figures -- now THERE's a statistic I'd like to see!

Haha I honestly didn't know what to think when I first saw her redesign...I've managed to warm up to it over time, but it defiantly doesn't have the same appeal as her original design or hell even most of her costumes in Project Diva (I can has PD prize figures PLEASE Sega?!?)

Makoto has a pretty big following surprisingly enough (Guess it's the power of underboob and a delicious mid-driff!). It still doesn't explain why they would make her before Noel though who is pretty much the female lead of the series. Not that I'd want them to make one of her as I doubt they'd do her lovely back justice. :p
