Final Fantasy XIII

The mighty-long-delayed awaited Final Fantasy XIII Japanese PS3 game has finally arrived at my doorstep in Melaka. (Bloody Fedex delivered it early in the morning 8 a.m. and I have to wake up to retrieve the parcel...) This copy of FF XIII is my cousin's but I helped him order from Play-Asia and addressed to my hometown house. It's not a copy with Final Fantasy XIV Bonus Item Code but who cares, it's not mine anyway :p

These photo is taken at night using my Xperia X1 with only ceiling lights. As you can see in the picture, the box is still wrapped with plastic wrapper and I'm told by him not to open it until it reaches his hand first back in KL... (deng)

As for the last picture, I'm pretty surprised the words behind the box still can be seen with my crappy X1 camera lol 8D

Can't wait to try out this game actually but I'm afraid my study will go down the river if I play now D:

From Tokyo to TOA: Akiba*Doujin Documentary by ahbonk

A few days ago, we had a online video conference conducted by Hazmer aka ahbonk in my college, he talked about the Doujin Game Culture in Japan (he's currently in Japan XD ).

He mentioned about some famous doujin works like The Voice Of A Distance Star, 5cmpersec, Supercell, Mikumiku Dance (my favourite... XD), Meltyblood by Type-moon, Ragnarok Battle Offline and etc etc...

He also showed us the documentation about Akihabara desu~

From Tokyo to TOA: Doujin Game Presentation (on that day)....

Phew, finally the presentation has finished. It was nice to see familiar faces in The One Academy again, no matter how pixelated they were :P Man, I miss teaching! Once it was all done, can't help but feel a little lonely (this is where you go "awwwwwwwwwwwwww...")

fyi, I was invited to give a live video feed presentation to The One Academy students, talking about doujin culture and how you can be part of the ever-growing independent spirit.

Thanks to Sook Chiung, Wei Peow and the rest of the team, the session went on smoothly, though there were a few disconnections here and there. Super big arigatou to them!

Before the pressie, Yee Lean enthusiastically showed the V sign to me, hehe. It was as if the students were in Tokyo themselves, considering how common the V sign is here! Pictured also are Benjamin and Sora, otakus themselves I'm sure :P

Poor Joanne. She had to carry that camera so that I could see the audience and my own slides. And look at Sook Chiung's worried face lol. I'm sure this is where she went "Talk S-L-O-W-E-R". Thanks so much, you two. Will you both marry me?

We started with a little exercise session to test the Internet lag. Even from Tokyo, I could control their arms bwahahahaha. Pictured are Aurelia (o rly ah?), Zheng Hong aka "Lechaoz the Level 80 Paladin" xD and Wahyu, the dude who likes to take videos in female toilets.

I talked a little bit about myself, and this is where my /IF/ pictures come in. Nerds rule!

When I showed a pic of some japanese girls (aka my girlfriends) wearing some Tokyo Fashion, Kellie the fashionista seemed to be in awe. "Wah where can I get that skirt..."

My boss Sweii was there, and so was her boss! Beside her is Tatsun, The One Academy's principal. Yikes *nervous*

This is either Wahyu fully paying attention to my presentation, or he's just acting cool in front of Reuben's camera. I'm betting the latter lol

Wow some students DO pay attention. I'm surprised :P

My intention was to make the presentation have a lot of lawls, which turned out to be a success :D Love the laugh on this dude! Diana and Tanyus behind showed everyone their beautiful teeth, and Ifa seemed puzzled "Eh what's so funny?"

Selvia, on the other hand, was bored. Aiyoh Selvia, sakit hati aku tengok gambar ni!

The moral of the story is that you guys have talent, and a whole lot of tools out there are free, so go out there and do great stuff! Thanks so much for coming guys!

Just an additional note, I would like to congratulate two of my favourite students in The One, Yiwei (Hey where's Yenn?!) and Chen aka Mak Datuk. They did so well in their games that they were also invited to give a presentation. You both make me and The One Academy proud!

Seriously, this presentation REALLY OPENED my eyes towards the 'Power Of Doujinshi'...

Hi all, I'm back...

... as a foundation student in The One Academy LOL...

And guess what,

IT IS FUN TO HAVE ALL FRIENDS THAT SHARE THEIR SAME INTEREST AS MINE! OH mommy i love you for putting me into this college...

Ok now, back to my life...
Seriously thousand assignments isn't a joke at all, and all activities (limteh yamcha anime gunpla...) have to reduce to minimal or else i can fail my subject sobzzzz....

I got lots of friends in TOA, and they are great! Got joker la, lenglui la, la-las la...
I will go into more details about them tomorrow... (get their pictures, as well as think some description for them... lol)

5 days of classes per week (sucks for me) and saturday also got morning class (fainted...), I cant go back to hometown (Melaka) that often at all... as i said, assignments is killing...

I'm currently staying at USJ11, my cousin's house. At 1st i plainned to rent a room at PJS9 (just a residential beside my college) but if i do so, no more car for me during 2nd year... Deng!

Lol, nowadays I'm freaking obsessed with photographing. I don't know why myself, but I suddenly interested in it and started taking my hobby collection items to shoot. Although I'm not equip with decent camera (Digital SLR), I still use my cell phone camera (SE K800i) for that purpose. Will this interest develops and become a part of my hobby? Who knows...

I do have a few friends on net and forums who willing to share their photographic tips and tutorial with me beside those tutorial pictures and tips from Deviantart. I think I will start collecting money and get myself a more decent camera for this hobby. After some market research, I found out that Nikon D80, Nikon D300, Sony Alpha 350, Sony Alpha 700 is quite a good bargain for a decent DSLR camera. They all range more than RM3K lol...

Figma For Christmas Present

Hehe my brother came back from Singapore today and guess what, he got myself a present! It's Hatsune Miku from Figma, Good Smile Company. Hatsune Miku is the first installment in the Vocaloid 2 Character Vocal Series released on August 31st, 2007. She is the main character in the software besides Kagamine Rin and Ren.

There's a Bandai Fair currently running at Dataran Pahlawan Mall Melaka. It is situated at the stage area (center of the mall). This fair started since 1st of December and will end at 31st December. Gundam model kits, Ben10 toys, Powerranger toys and etc are being displayed at the fair.

GFF M.C.#1005 Z Plus [Red] & SDX Knight Gundam

^Very awesome pictures taken on this beautiful yet epic giant Gundam. The details are suprerior and surpassed many older GFF.M.C gundam? It's going to be a big hit putting side by side with an EX-S... I guess so... ^^;

This GUNDAM FIX FIGURATION METAL COMPOSITE #1005 Zplus[RED] is going to be one of the most popular G.F.F.M.C. Gundam ever produce to me. Although there are no action pose for this kit provided yet but i guess the articulation should be comparable to the MG kit.

^The proportion is sure tempting to all giant-type Gundam fans ^^

^The details for the Zeta itself is fantastic too.

^The size is surely equivalent to HGUC EX-S.

^Plane mode. All I can say is... AWESOME!! ^^

This toy is not going to be cheap to own. It's still in prototype form so there might be changes made in the future before it's official release.

1/100 GN0000 00 Gundam Pelvis Mod!!!

New mod found to increase the articulation of 1/100 gundam 00.

Recently, a modeler named Aya Tamabo has separated the pelvis of 1/100 Gundam 00 that is said to be molded together with the stomach of it! This action has enabled the 00's pelvis and stomach to be able to rotate independently (although it still cant bend forward and backward, it's still better than the original... ^^;)

Let's have a review.

^Wow, a really fine clean cutting work to me ^^ The centre part of the seperated pelvis is filled with putty and pla-plate. The part below the stomach is also moded using putty and pla-plates. The injection part below the stomach is made by using the runner material i think (it looks like blue to me so i just guess it ^^;)... It has to be putty and pla-plated to let the shape maintain and able to hold the weight of the body...

^Notice that the right arm shoulder joint's hole has been covered using pla-plate. It looks pretty nicer to me but I wonder this mod will reduce the ability of the arm to turn and bend forward?

^Yea the part is closed completely by the pla-plate. What would happen? I don't know honestly...

^The joint part for the GN drive and the back thruster has hole and is covered using putty too. Well there's still a hole beside there and I wonder he/she will cover that too?

Holiday plans finally came out~!

**These is just rough plans and they are not according to order... just splits out whatever that crossed my mind at the moment ^^;

1) Find a part time work to earn some money...
2) Sell gundam and figurines related stuff in net...
3) Buy Air Brush Set...
4) Get those tools needed for 'complete serious model kit modeling'
5) Get myself a self-build booth for AB...
6) Get my driving and motor license...
7) Go KL to celebrate Christmas and Comic Fiesta 2008...
8) Get myself a Xbox360/PS3 and a HD TV too (still not sure whether to get it so soon yet)...
9) Decide which course to take next year

Kinda lots of plan actually for just a 4 months holiday ^^; busy busy busy~ Gotta ganbatte for it, yo~!

Oh by the way, i have started to build my HG gundams. Well i planned to snap fit it 1st, sand and cement it, then surfacer, sand if needed, surfacer again and paint after i got my air brush set ^^

Right now, im still in cut, trim and sanding process.

^Bandai use quite much clear parts recently... all started since 00 series HG is released...
Clear green or UV green paint would be nice for it...

EDITED: Finish cutting and trimming the parts already.

While waiting for my Air brush set to arrive, i will go on with the other kits 1st. This will be kept back into box until then. Next will be....

Yea SPM over~!

11 subject all over... and my life is going to change at last. World of History, Biology and Chemistry has just ended and world of Gunplas, plamos, figurines, animes, mangas and university is just started.

Updates for this blog will be frequent from now onwards as i got more time to look for news and also typing ^^;

A lots of my gunplas building progress will be updated here as well starting from now. So in the middle of the process i will like to get comments from all my blog readers.

Next upcoming post will be about my plans during this holiday before i get my result on next march.

Oh by the way, i will also be selling gundam kit too during this holiday as part time work. All range of gunplas are included as well as Revoltechs and Figmas. Gundam tools are included too...

1/100 00 Gundam and HG 1/144 Seravee are officially out in Japan!! Some maniacs managed to get them on hand and did some previews on them ^^; check' hem out ^^

^Having lots of same features (lesser actually T.T) as the HG version when the lighting effect of the Twin Drives is not included in the picture.

^The "engine" of the GN Drive is revealed.

^In terms of parts, 00 (top) is one runner less of 1/100 Exia (bottom), and I included PC-7 (the runner with just six polycaps) into the calculation for 00. The price of 00 is 500 Yen more than Exia. 00 has lesser weapon than Exia but LED is included though.

According to the pictures below, i do believe that the launching platform (provided in the ordinary ver. 2.0 kit) will not be provided in these kit.

Add Maths exam over today!!!

Lol just a small update on my exam paper today (add maths and moral)... We don't have any problem with our moral paper. All we need to study is the definations of the moral values and how to apply it in the questions given and that's all...

Then went it goes to Add maths... ... ... Add maths paper 1 kinda easy to me but paper 2 killed everyone in my class T.T

According to my friend, half our my class had BIG problem with the paper 2 questions and these is what happened...

1. Enter exam hall.... (all started to panic...)
2. By looking at the question only... (>.<')<(die...)
3. Hard to understand what the question wants...
4. Forgot the methods to solve the problems...

LOL..... therefor, B3-A2 is possible for it but A1.... (T-T)

1/100 GN0000 00 Gundam Downgrade...

A very disappointing news to tell u guys who are interested to get the 1/100 00 Gundam...

^The waist has no joint at all... only the chest part can rotate to the left and the right thanks to the P.C. part... (T-T)
So there will be no forward and backward bending for 1/100 anymore like the HG... I think this is due the the weight support for the O-riser that going to get released after 00? I guess O-riser is kinda heavy and Bandai worries that 1/100 00 might tilt backward after equip with O-riser, therefor no joint is used at the waist...

For guys who cant accept this, kindly wait for the MG release...

^The head and the chest's connection is kinda interesting... you can display them seperately once in a while don't u think? ^^;

^All the components for the light-up part are pre-assembled, so the only thing for you to do is to slot in the battery and fasten the screw.

^A different design for the Action Display Base's connector as well. Normally it's at the groin area..

^You can bet that it has a worst articulation compared to the 1/144 HG version. The leg isn't going to be able to spread as wide as the 1/144 HG's... Things that are attractive about this kit is only the shield and the lightning mechanism that cant be found at 1/144 HG and that's all...
