<title>Which of Your Selves Is More Sacred to You </title>

Are we meant to choose one or the other?
&lt;br&gt;
&lt;br&gt;Society tells you that it is the authority about who you are and how you can define yourself  It tells you what you deserve based on its material-world view  It tells you what you can have and what you have to do to get it  Basically, society &amp;quot;allows&amp;quot; you to be, do, and have based on its viewpoint that changes with the wind  And that wind blows in a circumscribed area  This means society decides, describes, and defines limitation for you  It convinces you that validation comes from outside you; that it comes from society, which is comprised of far too many others to know whom to please and in what ways 
&lt;br&gt;
&lt;br&gt;Your spiritual self recognizes there is a divine order at work at all times, and that the Divine is without limitations  It recognizes that this divine order means there is a divine purpose in and for all things  The more engaged with your spiritual self that you are, the more these aspects resonate within you and ripple outward into and through your life experience  
&lt;br&gt;
&lt;br&gt;Your spiritual self is aware of and uses  -  to the degree you allow it  -  intuition  This means you can tap into, flow with, divine order and purpose, as often as you allow yourself to do this  In this state of Mind and Being, you don&amp;#039;t always need to understand what the Divine is doing, or why, when, or how  -  until you do  
&lt;br&gt;
&lt;br&gt;In the spiritual world, you have experiences that are personal and valid  -  and validated by Spirit, experiences that many in society wouldn&amp;#039;t validate as &amp;quot;real&amp;quot; or worth pursuing  But, kindred others who follow a spiritual path would understand 
&lt;br&gt;
&lt;br&gt;Each of us always has a choice as to whether the material or spiritual world is more sacred to us  This doesn&amp;#039;t mean we are to shun the material world  After all, we live in it  We use it and contribute (hopefully) to its existence  The material world is part of our sustenance just as we are part of its sustenance  
&lt;br&gt;
&lt;br&gt;But, which world nurtures you first and most? Which one encourages you first and most to be, do, and have in the ways you desire? Which one encourages you first and most to be your authentic self? Which world is the source of your authority? Which one do you usually choose as your source of authority in and of all things?
&lt;br&gt;
&lt;br&gt;Society is like your body  And though the body is an amazing compilation of cells performing specific tasks in order to support the &amp;quot;whole,&amp;quot; it is nothing  -  it cannot exist  -  without consciousness  It performs and functions even better with conscious awareness  
&lt;br&gt;
&lt;br&gt;One of these worlds holds the frequency of love in greater, natural abundance and asks you often, What is sacred to you? The one that is more sacred to you is the one you will nurture first and most 
&lt;br&gt;
&lt;br&gt;We too often hold onto what keeps us unhappy or discontent or unfulfilled, because we may have to really look at ourselves and change something  Society has predominantly taught us to value and rely on the known, according to its definitions of acceptable &amp;quot;knowns &amp;quot; This is why the unknown frightens us so much  -  more than it needs to, more than it was meant to, especially when it comes to knowing ourselves 
&lt;br&gt;
&lt;br&gt;When you&amp;#039;re clear that your spiritual self is more sacred to you, you can let go of some of that fear, or at least explore the unknown knowing you can rely on divine order, divine purpose, and on yourself as an integral part of that larger aspect you come from and return to  This also means the energetic frequency you transmit as a result of your expanded Knowing, to others and to Law of Attraction, will create more experiences you desire, as well as allow you to experience all of life and yourself more in the way you desire 
&lt;br&gt;
&lt;br&gt;Albert B  Simpson said one of the signs of a spiritual life is enthusiasm  This makes sense  If you feel connected to and in flow with your spiritual self and the spiritual universe, how could you lack enthusiasm, at least a good deal of the time? Trying to appease society or even ego only, can drain or deplete enthusiasm  You can be enthusiastic about what you do in the world, but that feeling is amplified if inspired and supported by enthusiasm that springs naturally from spirituality 
&lt;br&gt;
&lt;br&gt;Harmony is meant to exist between the two worlds, but this is to be a result of your spiritual development that allows you to contribute authentically to society, not by you or your spirituality being dictated to by society  Your spiritual self gives you your voice in your life and in the world  It encourages and inspires head-and-heart alignment in decision making  It leads you into integrity 
&lt;br&gt;
&lt;br&gt;Through the sacredness revealed through spirituality, we can extend sacredness to the Earth and those we share it with  We open the doorway of the future we desire when we realize and take ownership of our spirituality in the now  Inner guidance is the most profound and effective tool, method, or system you could ever use, especially as the foundation of your Mind and Being  Spirituality is the keeper of these ways 
&lt;br&gt;
&lt;br&gt;If you want your experience of both worlds to keep you in a state of appreciation, make your spirituality the world you nurture first, then bring the result of how this influences you into the world  This allows you to make both worlds a sacred experience, in the way this was always meant to be for us 
&lt;br&gt;

<title>Who said you Need to   Stop Drinking Alcohol   to Beat Alcoholism </title>

<description>Author : David Roppo&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;Of course you want to overcome your alcohol addiction  But, if you&amp;#039;re like most, you probably don&amp;#039;t want to give up drinking either  Well, you don&amp;#039;t have to! Sure, Alcoholics Anonymous (AA) professes that complete abstinence is required  However, I disagree! AA claims that alcoholism is a disease caused by chemical dependency, yet others believe it&amp;#039;s a failure of restraint or merely a matter of willpower  In my opinion, it&amp;#039;s neither  Truthfully, it&amp;#039;s an emotional dependency  And, when you attempt to deny yourself a drink without correcting the root cause of that emotionally charged craving, failure is eminent  You will either indulge or transfer your behavior to another substance or activity  The later occurs quite frequently in AA  Most participants trade one behavior for another by becoming addicted to religion, antidepressants or AA itself  This behavioral transference is generally ignored and completely overshadowed by an ideological veil of abstinence and attendance  AA philosophy dictates that every alcoholic is only one drink away from relapse  And, if they even so much as sniff a beer cap or a wine cork, it&amp;#039;s all over but the crying! According to AA, life-long abstinence and attendance is the only way  I say, that&amp;#039;s completely absurd and categorically false! I have spent the past 6 years coaching and surveying addicted individuals  When most were questioned, in detail, the vast majorities acknowledged using substances and/or compulsions as an emotional escape  That doesn&amp;#039;t sound like a disease or chemical dependency, does it?
&lt;br&gt;
&lt;br&gt;According to the National Institute on Alcohol Abuse and Alcoholism&amp;#039;s 2001-2002 National Epidemiologic Survey on Alcohol, 1 5 out of every five participants, who have struggled with alcoholism, were able to return to and maintain moderate, healthy drinking levels  Bottom line, Abstinence is not required! And, in my opinion, if the other 3 5 weren&amp;#039;t fed false information, they could learn to drink moderately as well  Alcoholism is not a chemically induced or dependent phenomenon  It is an emotional one  Therefore, the key to beating alcoholism and achieving moderate drinking is the elimination of emotional issues that cause it  When accomplished, this all but nullifies destructive drinking and renders it repulsive in the eyes of the addicted  Consequently, moderate drinking is absolutely achievable  In fact, I&amp;#039;ve had many clients, who&amp;#039;ve struggled with alcoholism, go on to drink moderately  
&lt;br&gt;
&lt;br&gt;In my opinion, alcoholism or destructive drinking is not a disease  It&amp;#039;s a choice! And, comprehending the basis for this is paramount to achieving both recovery and moderate drinking  In simple terms, emotional escape is the foundation  In my coaching practice, I have confirmed, empirically, that a direct connection between alcoholism and emotional escape does, indeed, exist  I have also confirmed that the emotional issues responsible always originate in family dysfunction  Additionally, my findings revealed that destructive drinking is used as a coping mechanism by those who ignore feelings of anger, resentment, depression, anxiety, shame, guilt, regret and blame  For example, Bill suffers from severe anxiety  The basis for his angst is a deep seated fear of failure which is directly related to low-self-esteem  Bill&amp;#039;s feelings of unworthiness originated in patterns of verbal abuse that he experienced as a child  Instead of facing and correcting those issues, he chooses to suppress them with alcohol  This is the basis for Bill&amp;#039;s destructive drinking  Once again, the only thing that separates moderate and destructive drinking is the need for emotional escape  Let me elaborate further  If you decide to have some wine with dinner and can limit your consumption to one or two glasses, then that would be considered moderate drinking  If you can not limit your consumption and you drink destructively, then you are using alcohol as an emotional escape  Bottom line, there are emotional issues driving your addiction  So, what issues are you avoiding or suppressing? And, the bigger question is; what are you going to do about them? Are you going to continue to run from them and escape via alcohol, or are you going to stand up and correct them? Plain and simple, &amp;quot;You can run, but you can&amp;#039;t hide!&amp;quot; If you want to achieve moderate drinking, the running must end  -  period!
&lt;br&gt;
&lt;br&gt;So, would you like to beat alcoholism, and learn to drink moderately, without ever leaving home? What if you could overcome your destructive drinking and still enjoy an occasional bottle of beer, glass of wine or mixed drink? Well, you can! And, I have proven it time and again! The key to moderate drinking is the elimination of toxic issues that cause anxiety, depression and emotional distress 
&lt;br&gt;

<description>Author : David Roppo&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;Anxiety is an emotional state characterized by not only psychological effects, but also physiological effects as well   Feelings of fear, worry, concern, dread and uneasiness can, and often do, cause physiological changes in the body such as trembling, heart palpitations, chest pain, stomach aches, headaches and inflammation  Additionally, other phenomena such as nightmares, paranoia, and panic attacks may also occur  Anxiety is often described as &amp;quot;future-oriented thinking&amp;quot; because it&amp;#039;s primarily driven by future-based, hypothetical and speculative events  Occasional feelings of angst are considered to be a normal response to stress, however, when anxiety becomes chronic, then, the root cause or causes should be addressed 
&lt;br&gt;
&lt;br&gt;Anxiety, in essence, is the inability to trust the flow of life  It is future-based thinking that is rife with worry, concern, dread and fear  Personally, I believe that fear is a component of anxiety, although, some clinicians tend to differentiate it  They often describe anxiety as a perception of situations being uncontrollable and fear as being related to specific behaviors of escape and avoidance  This theory suggests that fear is directly related to behavior and anxiety to perception, but, in my opinion, the two are inseparable  Let me explain  If you do not trust the future or the flow of life, surely, you are afraid of the future  That is fear, is it not? And, if you&amp;#039;re afraid of the future, certainly you&amp;#039;ve attempted to escape and avoid it  Generally speaking, fear is attached to the future  For example, if you have a fear of failure, you are dreading, worrying and concerning yourself with a hypothetical, future event  Similarly, if your experiencing angst over finances, love or loneliness, your anxiety is being generated by a fear of unfulfilled, future needs  Consequently, anxiety and fear are closely entwined  Fear that occurs in response to danger or an immediate threat would be the only exception  Anxiety is not generally present with this type of fear since it is temporary in nature  On the other hand, anxiety and fear in response to a future event is usually chronic  
&lt;br&gt;
&lt;br&gt;Generalized anxiety disorder is mainly treated with medication and/or Cognitive Behavioral Therapy  Common medications prescribed are Xanax, Ativan and Valium  While these psychoactive drugs may provide some temporary relief, they don&amp;#039;t offer a permanent solution  As they say, &amp;quot;you can kick the can down the road, but you&amp;#039;ll never kick it far enough to avoid impending disaster!&amp;quot; The other alternative is Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, which is based on stoicism or disconnecting from emotional issues  -  especially in the face adversity  I believe this approach is completely counterproductive  Remember, anxiety and fears are directly related to escape and avoidance, so why would you teach someone to disconnect from their emotional issues? 
&lt;br&gt;
&lt;br&gt;Left unchecked, the fire of anxiety will continue to grow until it totally consumes the mind and/or affects the body as a result of inflammation  Therefore, ignoring it or continuing to suppress it with alcohol and/or medication is unwise  When a chronic condition is suppressed, it usually grows stronger and eventually resurfaces in another area, unexpectedly  I believe this rule applies to anxiety as well  If you want to eliminate anxiety rather than suppress it, you must put out the fire by choking it off at its base  So, I am not going to suggest that you combat your anxiety with relaxation techniques or meditation  That would be equivalent to throwing ice cubes on a bonfire! Meditation is an integral part of the &amp;quot;5 Steps to Addiction Freedom,&amp;quot; however, it is not the primary tool required for overcoming anxiety  
&lt;br&gt;
&lt;br&gt;Overcoming both anxiety and fear on a permanent level begins with action  The only way to convince your self that a situation is controllable is to take the steps required to change it  This begins with the principle of liberation, which I address in step one of the &amp;quot;5 Steps to Addiction Freedom &amp;quot; Liberation is defined as the act of freeing someone from socially imposed constraints  Who in your life is controlling, oppressing, mistreating or abusing you? If you wish to rid yourself of anxiety, you must eliminate the toxic behaviors and relationships that are undermining your emotional health  This is where it all begins 
&lt;br&gt;
&lt;br&gt;The goal is to eliminate anxiety and destructive drinking permanently, however, if you&amp;#039;d like some short-term relief in the mean time, try the following technique:
&lt;br&gt;
&lt;br&gt;As you feel anxiety mounting, rather than fueling it, switch your mindset to attack mode  Locate the area in your body in which you are experiencing distress and hone in on it  Next, in your mind, envision yourself moving towards the area one step at a time with the intent of pursuing and attacking the distress  Finally, step into the center of the area and imagine that you are controlling the distress  Suddenly, you&amp;#039;ll realize that you&amp;#039;re in control of how you feel and the anxiety is not  Watch your angst dissipate 
&lt;br&gt;
&lt;br&gt;

&lt;br&gt;Learn, but do not obsess 
&lt;br&gt;Being fearful sometimes means that you need to educate yourself  It&amp;#039;s like turning on a light in a dark room  Sometimes you need to consult an expert, read, or enroll in a class to tackle your fears  But always remember that balance is key  When we find ourselves asking "Dr  Google" for so much information that we become overwhelmed, confused, or even more fearful, it&amp;#039;s time to take a step back 
&lt;br&gt;
&lt;br&gt;Get a better script 
&lt;br&gt;Negative self-talk is an ingrained habit that&amp;#039;s hard to change  If your routine is to constantly blame, berate, or insult yourself, you need a new speech model  Need a few examples?
&lt;br&gt;
&lt;br&gt;The old tape: "Figures this would happen to me  I have no luck "
&lt;br&gt;The new message: "OK  It&amp;#039;s all a test and now I know where I stand "
&lt;br&gt;
&lt;br&gt;The old tape: "It was only a matter of time before I blew it again "
&lt;br&gt;The new message: "There&amp;#039;s no failure--it&amp;#039;s just information to use for the future "
&lt;br&gt;
&lt;br&gt;The old tape: "Nice, but what&amp;#039;s the catch? Good things don&amp;#039;t happen to me "
&lt;br&gt;The new message: "I am deserving of the good and abundance that the universe has to offer me " 
&lt;br&gt;
&lt;br&gt;With practice, your new script will become second nature 
&lt;br&gt;
&lt;br&gt;Know that there&amp;#039;s only one you 
&lt;br&gt;That&amp;#039;s good news! Although having a mentor to guide you is beneficial, you alone are responsible for and the captain of your ship  It&amp;#039;s what you think about and apply life&amp;#039;s opportunities that really counts  Comparison to others will drag you back down to that "not good enough" place again, but the reassuring truth that you are doing your best and taking slow but steady steps is your ticket to success 
&lt;br&gt;

&lt;br&gt;Goal: to get a promotion

&lt;br&gt;Logically, we know those devastating outcomes are unlikely  Even the likely ones are probably not catastrophic  Yet we shouldn&amp;#039;t ignore such fears because they can stop you in your tracks  Worse, they can keep you in a state of perpetual denial, self-sabotage, and frustration--where you&amp;#039;re always dreaming but not achieving 
&lt;br&gt;
&lt;br&gt;Note: Recognizing your underlying fears is not easy to do yourself  You might ask a trusted support person to guide you in seeing what your real obstacles are 
&lt;br&gt;
&lt;br&gt;2) Be a possibility expert 
&lt;br&gt;Once you&amp;#039;ve identified your fears--and lessened their grip on you--visualize the payoff of reaching your goal  Imagine the rewards, the good work that you&amp;#039;re sharing with others, and the fun that may be awaiting you 
&lt;br&gt;
&lt;br&gt;It&amp;#039;s important to do this early on  There will be times when your goals seem impossibly far away  In fact, they may be just around the corner  As a mentor often tells us, "Don&amp;#039;t quit before the miracle " Maintain your motivation to succeed by always refocusing on the positive outcomes

&lt;br&gt;Goal: to lose weight
&lt;br&gt;Success motivator: How fabulous will I feel in those new clothes after I&amp;#039;ve dropped the weight? How will my energy soar? Imagine having less pain and pressure on my back and knees     
&lt;br&gt;
&lt;br&gt;Goal: to get a promotion
&lt;br&gt;Success motivator: How empowering will it feel to have a checkmark next to all my tasks, to move up the career ladder rung by rung, to have pride in my achievements? Imagine moving ahead fearlessly   
&lt;br&gt;
&lt;br&gt;3) Prepare for liftoff 
&lt;br&gt;Now that you have begun to reframe your approach, look ahead to how you will continue of the journey to success  What is your vision? Does it reflect balance, self-compassion, and vitality?
&lt;br&gt;
&lt;br&gt;Ask yourself what comes next  What steps will move you forward and let you reclaim your right to happy, fulfilling relationships, work, and life? Plot them out  One way to manage your action plan is, when you hit a bump in the road, to say "This is a test " Even when we give our best along the way, we sometimes discover that we need a course correction  Don&amp;#039;t lose hope; just choose a new action--knowing that this time, it just may be the right one 
&lt;br&gt;
&lt;br&gt;Look at your journey without absolutes  Abandon the notion of one perfect, black and white plan  Allow flexibility in your thinking  Now is the time to set priorities and delegate the excess on your plate  Commit to small achievable goals  Enlist support: Try to think of yourself as part of a larger success team 
&lt;br&gt;
&lt;br&gt;Can you taste and feel that you&amp;#039;re on your way? &lt;br&gt;In my face-to-face patients and in my telecoaching clients across the country, I hear stressed, puzzled, and worn-out voices that reflect two opposing ideas: the continuing desire to move ahead, and an expectation of no real gratification or reward at the end  Instead, it&amp;#039;s a frustrating and defeating cycle of wanting  -  failing 
&lt;br&gt;
&lt;br&gt;Whatever it is you hope to achieve--a raise, a trim body, a new or better relationship, more clients, improved health, etc --you might think fear of failure is what&amp;#039;s making it unattainable 
&lt;br&gt;
&lt;br&gt;Surprisingly, the actual culprit may be fear of success  Fear of success is evident in those nagging negative background thoughts, quietly yet persistently sabotaging your efforts to move ahead  These notions force you to play small, effectively keeping the big wins out of reach 
&lt;br&gt;
&lt;br&gt;To beat those sneaky success thieves, you&amp;#039;ll need to look closely--and gently--where they hide  These exercises will help you root those fears out, give you a panoramic view of the journey that you are on, and show you how to plan for staying on course for success 
&lt;br&gt;
&lt;br&gt;1) Be honest 
&lt;br&gt;Grab a pen and paper  It&amp;#039;s time to identify what you really, truly want to accomplish 
&lt;br&gt;
&lt;br&gt; - List each facet of your life--friendships, career, health, family, sports, any area you care about  Leave plenty of writing space around each area for more notes later 
&lt;br&gt; - Next, rank each area according to how important it is to you 
&lt;br&gt; - In each area, list your goals  It&amp;#039;s okay to dream big!
&lt;br&gt;
&lt;br&gt;Seeing all these competing ideas in front of you should help you focus on the big picture  Unless you identify that ultimate goal, you might be avoiding or dismissing some key worries, confusion, and self-destructive thoughts or actions  Believe me, we all have them, so be courageous 
&lt;br&gt;
&lt;br&gt;2) Be brave 
&lt;br&gt;Under the goals that you listed above, write down what you imagine would be the boldest, best case scenario for each  Be specific  Here are some examples:
&lt;br&gt; - to meet a soulmate who is   
&lt;br&gt; - to feel and look better so I can   
&lt;br&gt; - to get promoted to   
&lt;br&gt; - to lose weight so   
&lt;br&gt;
&lt;br&gt;Keeping a spotlight on those ultimate goals helps smooth the way over speed bumps like fear, worry, and uncertainty  By mapping this out on paper, you make a commitment to those goals  You also identify which crucial ones have inadvertently fallen to the bottom of the list  (Is shopping for that perfect handbag really going to bring you closer to success than spending the same time and money on some much-needed self-care?)
&lt;br&gt;
&lt;br&gt;3) Be real, but be kind 
&lt;br&gt;Look back at how you reacted in the past when you were unsuccessful with your goals  What self-talk did you use when you looked in the mirror, stepped on the scale, or reviewed your bank balance? Were they useful observations, or do you find yourself using harsh words--even insults--you wouldn&amp;#039;t think of saying to a friend?
&lt;br&gt;
&lt;br&gt;If self-recrimination has been your default mindset, it&amp;#039;s time for a change  After all, what you think about yourself and your progress can determine your results 
&lt;br&gt;
&lt;br&gt;Check that negativity  Instead, be objective about your progress by analyzing why things went wrong  Ask meaningful questions  Could it be that you didn&amp;#039;t really want to reach that particular goal? You felt overwhelmed? You didn&amp;#039;t feel you deserved success? You were not sure what steps to take?
&lt;br&gt;
&lt;br&gt;Now, look at your paper again  Under the goals you jotted, write down what you think of the actions you&amp;#039;ve taken so far  Remember, this is not a self-bashing exercise, so please refrain from going there  Instead, dive a little deeper into why--and arm yourself ahead of time to meet those known challenges head-on 
&lt;br&gt;

&lt;br&gt;Imagine that energy field around you  It&amp;#039;s with you everywhere you go  Picture all those angers and resentments like various sizes and shapes of debris  -  like debris and trash thrown into a stream  -  that snags and hangs up and blocks the flow  We are designed and entitled to feel unpleasant emotions because of the vital messages ALL of our feelings convey, but not to give negative emotions a permanent home in our energy field, which then becomes a field of dramas, past and attracted  Getting stuck in drama keeps you from perceiving, feeling, knowing - a Bigger Picture, a Larger Truth  -  best examined, processed, and integrated from a spiritual perspective

&lt;br&gt;An important part of what you&amp;#039;re here to do is to expand your conscious awareness, which includes changing inefficient thinking and emotions that keep you from living your best inner and outer life experience  The more you do this  -  make these changes  -  the more Law of Attraction can cease to create matching scenarios to what&amp;#039;s negative in your energy field  Think back over the last three to six months, or longer, and ask yourself how many unpleasant scenarios were either repetitions or variations on a theme

&lt;br&gt;If your dramas tend to repeat or drama seems to be how your life experience goes, you can pause and really look at this  You can remind yourself that your thoughts directly contribute to your manifestations, just as your perceptions and interpretations of happenings contribute to how you experience them  You can look at what needs to change  Start with your thoughts and emotions then move this change outward, into your life, based on what you learn about yourself

&lt;br&gt;You may have to release addictions to ways of thinking, perceiving, believing you need to or must feel a certain way, behaviors, and actions you take  You may have to flip what you believe about reality  You may have to see that you create and co-create unpleasantness to get your attention on something within your belief system that needs to change so that you can experience more of the unsullied you that you came here to be, and share what you came here to share rather than live holed up inside yourself,  to choose wholeness instead of holed up in drama 
&lt;br&gt;
&lt;br&gt;Some events and moments in your life will be dramatic (it isn&amp;#039;t about the false belief that if you just do something the right way, you&amp;#039;ll never have a problem ever again  -  it&amp;#039;s about practicing to the point of knowing you can manage yourself well  -  trust yourself to act from integrity - through any such times  -  and learn from them, whether just irritations or truly dramatic)  Maybe your initial reaction will be to respond with more drama or from your conditioned drama response  However, if you practice pulling back to re-vision, re-perceive, and re-frame, you can then approach such experiences from a what-productive-thing-can-be-done-or-learned mode  This may be outward, but it will always be a seed at the inner level first 
&lt;br&gt;
&lt;br&gt;The seed of who you are  -  your best self and best life  -  is inside you, possibly buried under a lifetime of beliefs that misdirect you, which in turn misdirects your energy causing you to &amp;quot;misdirect&amp;quot; Law of Attraction  Begin the practice of noticing this  Appreciate that you can choose to change what&amp;#039;s in your energy field, which will change your life, how you perceive drama, and how you respond to it 
&lt;br&gt;
&lt;br&gt;Understand that what you feel  -  your feelings  -  are messengers and not to be controlled  Your emotions are what you do with or about what you feel, and can be managed  Though some people avoid it, processing negative emotions is necessary, but for the purpose of traveling through the process and arriving somewhere, not processing to the point where it becomes a way of life, with no progress made  People addicted to drama tend to allow identifying with and processing dramas  -  or not processing them at all - to replace healing and living 
&lt;br&gt;
&lt;br&gt;Make an effort to cease anticipating future experiences based on any negativity from your past, or creating, by default, negative experiences that are within your control  Appreciate that every experience holds something for you to see and learn about you  Appreciate positive potentials and possibilities so they become probabilities  Believe in possibilities  -  without a need for drama, and your reality changes  -  starting at the most important, vital place  -  within you 
&lt;br&gt;
&lt;br&gt;Practice makes progress
