Many people assume I only build websites, but my website management service goes beyond the initial launch. Most months, I help clients with everything from design updates and SEO to content creation, technical fixes, branding, and improving their online customer connections. Here are a few of the projects I worked on this month:

• Edited a podcast episode for a client, submitted it to Substack and social media, then turned the podcast into a blog article using Substack transcribe and ChatGPT. I also used the content to help with SEO siloing on her website so the podcast episode could continue helping her visibility on Google long after it aired.
• Worked on two new website builds this month, including a new custom logo design. Interestingly, both clients found me organically – one through ChatGPT and the other through Google search. I have been consistently working on my own website SEO for about six months now, so it has been cool to see that effort paying off. I do this for my regular clients with great results, too.
• Updated a therapist’s homepage to better connect with potential clients. Instead of mainly listing modalities and techniques, we focused more on the actual problems people are experiencing and how she can support them.
• Continued ongoing website maintenance and updates for clients, including content updates, troubleshooting layout issues, improving mobile responsiveness, and search engine visibility.

I genuinely enjoy the variety of this work, which is really a website management service. I have ongoing client work and new tasks/projects each month that make it really interesting.

Edit & Manage Your WordPress Website

Yay! It’s done! I started this guide a couple of months ago and finally finished it last weekend. Life and taxes sucked up all of my free time, things cleared, and I finished.

This is an 18-page Canva guide on how to edit your own Divi website. It’s very comprehensive and includes a table of contents in the beginning, so you can quickly skip to any section you need at the moment. I know nobody wants to search endlessly for the information they need — they just want the answer right now when they’re stuck.

I created this guide after seeing there was a real need for it. I would build a website for a client, or someone would purchase a theme, and then I’d get emergency calls or emails asking for help. I saved all of the common questions and used them to create this guide.

One of my favorite recent projects was redesigning the homepage for Johanna Mosca, PhD of Sedona Spirit Vortex Healing. Johanna came to me feeling like her website had become overwhelming, difficult to navigate, and visually too heavy for visitors trying to understand her services.

Her goal was:

• Create a simple, welcoming homepage
• Feature her and her healing work more clearly
• Organize her offerings into an easy-to-follow experience
• Reduce clutter, excessive text, and too many photos
• Make the site feel lighter, more professional, and easier to navigate

The transformation completely changed the flow and energy of the website.

BEFORE

The original homepage contained large blocks of text, crowded sections, and too many competing visuals. While it held valuable information, visitors had to work too hard to understand what Johanna offered and where to go next.

The redesigned homepage focuses on clarity, balance, and user experience while still honoring the spiritual and healing nature of her brand. The new layout creates a calmer visual flow, stronger hierarchy, cleaner calls-to-action, and a much more polished presentation of her vortex journeys, healing work, books, and teachings.

AFTER

Johanna shared this with me before the redesign:

  This existing trust significantly accelerated ranking speed, allowing the new page to gain traction much faster than a brand-new website would.

The Result

The page reached #1 ranking for “biofield tuning in Jupiter.”

This means when potential clients search for:

I have been pivoting.

Over the past six months, I’ve been doing some different things other than just website and design. Did you know that ongoing search engine optimization gets real results for visibility? I have been doing something called “siloing” for myself and some of my clients. Siloing is organizing content so that Google and AI can more easily find your website in search results. I used to be number one for one or two keyphrases, which actually brought me a good amount of business. Then, competition came in, and I lost those spots, as well as potential clients. That hurt. So I learned something new. Over the past three months of diligent work, I am now within the top three for my favorite keyphrases again. I have been able to do this for my clients as well. Results take from three to six months, so just letting you know, it is not an instant fix. This is a big part of what effective wellness marketing looks like behind the scenes.

I’ve also started offering more support beyond just website design. A lot of people don’t just need a website and branding – they need help keeping up with content. So I’ve been helping people with things like:

• Getting their website organized so it’s easier to find in search
• Setting up and managing podcasts
• Editing videos into shorter clips for social media
• Creating simple content for YouTube and Instagram
• Regular social media posting

I still do web and graphic design, but I am offering more ongoing help instead of just one-time projects. Instead of just building a website and walking away, I help clients keep growing their online presence so they can stay visible and keep attracting new people over time. This kind of consistent support is what makes wellness marketing actually work long-term.

It took me a long time to let go of the guilt of stepping away from hustle culture. I used to believe that working harder meant caring more. Now I know that working smarter, with boundaries and self-care, not only keeps me sane but directly improves the work I deliver.
