While most faces from Bollywood announced their Cannes visit almost weeks before the actual event started, actor Jacqueline Fernandez preferred to keep mum about her appearance at the film festival . On the last day of the event, the Shri Lankan beauty was spotted in Cannes. A source close to the star says, "Jackie was invited by the Monaco Grand Prix organisers as a guest. Since Cannes is just half-an-hour from Monaco, she thought it would be great to meet people from various fields at the festival. She wore a short dress that suited the Reviera setting. As Jacqueline has been a world cinema fan, she also wanted to get up close with the filmmakers and actors that she has grown up watching. Also, since she was there on her own, she did not want to make a hue and cry about her presence at Cannes."

       Sisters and actors Riya and Raima Sen are as much friends as sisters, says Riya. "Ever since we moved out from Kolkata, both of us have been living together in Mumbai.
So today we share such a thick bond, which I am sure we wouldn't have if we didn't stay together,away from home. Though Raima is just one year elder, she always behaves like a mom to me and keeps a tab on me. Even my parents hold her responsible if I do anything wrong." laughs Riya.
        Ask Riya if the two share a similar nature and she quickly says, "We do, despite many people thinking that our natures are poles apart. However, not many know that I'm an introvert and prefer being in my own space while Raima is an outgoing person. May be that is why the roles that we choose to play on screen are so opposite to what we are in real life -I am the shy one but in films I play more outgoing glamorous kind of characters. And Raima, who is extrovert, portrays roles that have depth and is shown to be shy and reculse, which is so unlike her. Guess that's why we love being actors."
         Talking about their rapport with their parents, Riya says Raima is an obedient daughter and when their father told them not to buy an expensive car Raima obied while Riya splurged on a luxury car. Singer Rihanna said that she wants Cheryl Cole to replace Jennifer Lopez on American Idol.      Singer Katy Perry already did her bit for Fleet Week by slipping on a patriotic American flag dress and performing in a concert. But the pop star went one step further to salute the sailors at a special event at Brooklyn as she passionately kissed a marine on stage while performing her hit song Part Of Me.

         Actor Shruti Hasaan is in a happy space with her films in the South being widely appreciated. The actor has also just gotten a place for herself in Bandra and is thrilled to bits about being back in Mumbai.
"I have done my graduation from here and lived here for four years. Besides, my mom also lives here so I have been shuttling between Hyderabad, Chennai and Mumbai and finally it is good to have a place to myself," says the actor. Shruti, who has been extremely tied up with work and travel says it has been a while since she took a day off to just unwind. "It has been so long since I took a holiday or a vacation. Forget a vacation; it has been a while since I actually took a day off. In a profession like this, we don't get a dedicated day off.          While she continues to juggle films and music, Shruti is also very clear that she won't give up either of them. She has been working in films for a couple of years now and if reports are to be believed, younger sister Akshara too is set to make her debut in bollywood. When asked Shruti about this she retorts,"You will have to confirm that with her.In our family we have a voice of our own and as a rule, we do not talk, deny, confirm anything about either of us. Akshara is an independent person and can make her own choices. She doesn't need me to deny or confirm the news." Being an elder sister, would Shruti be happy to if Akhara decides to do films? "Sure",she says ," I'd be happy with whatever she decides to do though I don't think I'd give her any advice. When I decided to do films, my father never gave me any advice as to what movies I should do or what should be my next career move.       Actor John Abraham will be seen in action scenes in Race 2. He had been shooting in Istanbul for the movie. Sources say that he had been training very hard for the sequences for over a month even before the shooting had begun.

Sources say that Salman was with Katrina in her vanity van chating with her. But soon it turned into a slight quarrel. The quarrel was about Katrina's costume.
