Avatar Star Zoe Saldana Helps an Elderly Woman from a Vehicle Accident

The Avatar movie star, Zoe Saldana, recently helped an elderly woman from a wrecked vehicle along Culver City, California. Reportedly, Saldana witnessed the accident involving an elderly woman whom she assisted.

According to people who witnessed the incident, Saldana rushed to the elderly woman who sustained personal injuries from the vehicle accident. Saldana accompanied the injured but conscious woman from the car to the curb and immediately called 911. Witnesses have added that Saldana looks so genuinely concerned at the old woman.

Saldana even managed to return to the woman’s car to pick up the latter’s hand bag and sweater.

After Saldana and a by-stander sat with the bloodied woman at the sidewalk the Good Samaritan actress waited for the paramedics to arrive and made sure that the woman was alright before getting back to her car and leaving the scene.

Witnesses have further added that Saldana was so nice and caring to the old woman. A spokesperson from Saldana didn’t give any comments regarding the incident.

No further information has been given about the accident but definitely, an investigation regarding the same is under way. And since the old woman looks helplessly injured, she may consider consulting an accident lawyer to determine if she has the right to file for a personal injury claim.

Preza further states in her lawsuit that she has suffered disabling condition, serious personal injuries, physical and emotional pain and sufferings. Also, Preza is seeking for damages for all her medical expenses and her lost time at work.

According to Lohan’s spokesperson, neither Lohan nor her lawyers has been served with the lawsuit. Therefore, no comment coming from Lohan’s side was made.

Both automobile accidents that resulted in the two consecutive lawsuits against Lohan happened in 2007 and in 2010. She has been arrested twice for her drunk driving. Until now, Lohan is still under probation from the said driving violation.

Mankato News Anchor Arrested for DUI Charges

The Mankato CBS – Annie Stensrud, a Fox affiliate reporter, gained fame on YouTube for her “drunken broadcast” earlier this month. Recently, though, she got involved in yet another alcohol-related incident; this time, a car accident.

An anonymous person called the North Mankato Police Department Wednesday morning last week and reported an intoxicated person leaving a Roe Crest Drive residence in a vehicle. The person later on described the vehicle to the authorities.

Police officers immediately responded to the area and stopped the said car as described by the anonymous person. The County Sheriff Deputy recognized that the car’s driver they were hunting down was that of the news anchor, Annie Stensrud. She was arrested for allegedly driving under the influence where she was taken custody at the Nicolette County Jail. She refused to take a breath test and was instead given a urinalysis test, which resulted into a .23 BAC (blood-alcohol concentration). However, hours later, Stensrud was released from the county jail.

In her statement, Stensrud said that she was not drunk but rather ill. She stated that her body was having a bad reaction to her medication for her illness. Since it is a personal matter, the station did not give any further comment on the incidents.

Stensrud was really steadfast on stating that she did not commit any traffic violation that’s why she was not eligible for any DUI charges.

Stensrud was famous for her “drunken broadcast” that trended on YouTube where she mumbled and stumbled while covering the news. She even slurred her way through some stories until the KEYC Mankato network cut her news broadcast off immediately. However, neither she nor the network ever formally confirmed whether the news anchor was drunk or not, but everyone speculated that she was indeed drunk because of her blurry eyes and mixed-up words.

“Teen Mom” star Amber Portwood is in great trouble yet again and more likely to spend holidays in jail after a vehicle accident.

In a news reports, Amber was caught in a vehicle accident at Anderson, Indiana last December 16. She struck into a 2003 Saturn as the other driver was pulling into his driveway.

Apparently, Amber was tailgating and her mind was off the road. Under the federal law, drivers must stay behind in a safe distance. Reports state that she was unaware of that law that a driver must keep distance from the vehicle ahead.

Amber’s defense to the apprehending police officers was that the other driver slammed on his brakes and made a swift turn.

Police report said that Amber was at fault. She admitted that she was driving while under medications when the accident happened. However, she refused to submit a drug test.

Last year, Portwood spent the holidays on jail for domestic battery charges and this year, she will be celebrating the holidays once more in jail without bond until the hearing next year.

Amber has been in rough circumstances over the past months. She was convicted in June for assaulting her ex – fiancé Gary Shirley to whom she has a 3 – year old daughter, Leah.

In November, she was accused of battery, failing other terms of her probation and public intoxication in connection with her previous brawl.

The worst part is that she just officially lost custody of her daughter – Leah after the Indiana’s Child Protection Services had closed its investigation about whether or not Amber was a fit mother.

Portwood’s Vehicle accident was her latest offense from a series of violations.This serves as a wake-up call for her and to the authorities that she is slowly being a threat to herself as well as to the society.

Hudgens’ first accident occurred last September, 2010 at a CVS Parking lot in Studio City, California. As she was backing out in her black Audi, she slammed into an approaching vehicle which resulted into a fender bender and a large dent to the other driver’s side door. Hudgens’ car sustained minor scratches at the back bumper. Fortunately, she was not injured.

Now, for the second time, Hudgens was driving her brand new Audi when she got involved again in a car crash.

According to reports, Hudgens’ brand new car was spotted into a parking lot of a Halloween store in Los Angeles.

Witnesses have seen the damages at the back portion of the celebrity’s vehicle. Though his expensive car has been damaged, Hudgens still managed to put a smile on her face as if nothing happened and walked away from the accident scene.

Though, no information about star’s recent car accident has leaked, it’s very obvious in the appearance of her car that it has gone through another minor accident since the damage was not serious but just simple scratches and minor dents.

Well, the show must go on. Hudgens is now filming her upcoming movie, the “Frozen Ground”, a true story of a rape victim who escaped from her abductor and then helped the authorities to capture the criminal.

Nancy Barry Killed in a Tragic Truck Accident in a Harvard Yale – Football Game

The Enterprise Solutions to Poverty founder and President Nanvy M. Barry tragically died in from a truck accident at the Harvard Yale Game.

According to reports, Nancy Barry was tailgating at the Harvard – Yale football game in New Haven, Connecticut when U – haul truck loaded with beer kegs struck Barry and two other women.

Barry and the two other women were immediately brought to the hospital. Barry was declared death upon arrival. The other 30 – year old woman was seriously injured but now in a stable condition while the third woman only sustained minor personal injuries.

The U – haul truck driver was identified as Brendan Ross, 21 – years old. According to witnesses, Ross was driving the truck by a tailgating area before the game began. When the vehicle turned a corner he sped up and hit the three women and then crashed into another U – haul truck.

It’s still unclear why the driver did this. However, one witness claimed that Ross pressed the pedal in annoyance because the women were not moving fast enough.

Ross underwent a field sobriety test after the collision. He has been cooperative and test result shows that he is not intoxicated. At this moment, Ross was not yet charged and there is a huge possibility that he wouldn’t be if proven that the accident was caused by something other than his mistake.

Ross together with his personal injury attorney is claiming that the accident is obviously as a result of vehicle malfunction. He also sent his condolences to Barry’s family.
