Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes call it quits!

2012-06-29T13:22:00.001-07:00

In a sudden and cruel twist of fate, we have lost Hollywood's famous identity TomKat forever. Yea friends, TomKat is no more. After five years of marriage, Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes have finally decided that they cannot fake their relationship anymore. They have already split and the next logical step is divorce. No points for guessing that the move was initiated by Katie Holmes.

People reports,

"This is a personal and private matter for Katie and her family," says Holmes's attorney Jonathan Wolfe. "Katie's primary concern remains, as it always has been, her daughter's best interest."

Cruise's rep tells PEOPLE: "Kate has filed for divorce and Tom is deeply saddened and is concentrating on his three children. Please allow them their privacy."

Ok, so the dice has been rolled and you are invited to rattle your brains and come out with the best possible explanation/reason/guess for this hot and upcoming divorce. My guess is Tom's elevator shoes are no more capable of elevating him to Katie's level and hence, Katie was forced to take the golden decision that she has been postponing for so long. To be honest, I don't know how to react to this news, but I feel sorry for Suri.

Game of the day - Lucy Mecklenburgh

2012-06-28T14:14:00.001-07:00

I don't know much about Lucy Mecklenburgh, but thankfully, lack of info has never been a constraint for our Game of the day post. If the catch is worth gawking at, then there should be no questions about anything else. What say? Anyway, for people who find it a bit difficult to drool over complete strangers, let me add that this babe is on British TV show The Only Way Is Essex. Is that enough? Now hit the jump and start with the drooling drill.

Katy Perry wants a long break

2012-06-28T13:38:00.000-07:00

Katy Perry has some sad news for her fans. The singer says that she wants to go into major hiding and take a long break from the limelight right after her movie, Katy Perry: Part of Me, hits theaters. The real reason behind this announcement is still unknown, and going by Katy Perry's reputation to create waves in still waters, we might never even know the reason.

ShowbizSpy reports her as saying,

I’m going to go into major hiding. I think I’ll have to after this movie comes out! I’m completely overwhelmed. Be careful what you wish for, you just might get it! No, I’m very excited, very proud.

I'm hundred person sure that her critics will arrive at a consensus that she's going into hiding because she's afraid to face the fate of her movie, but you know what, Katy will still have the last laugh. Don't believe me? Just wait and watch. Meanwhile, wishing you all the best, Katy!

Game of the day - Chris Hemsworth

2012-06-27T17:14:00.001-07:00

Chris Hemsworth is such a rage nowadays that the very first result that pops up if you Google search wildfire, without adding Colorado, is the wikipage of this hunk. Well, OK, I made that one up, but I've heard girls whisper into each other's ears that Chris Hemsworth is hot as wildfire, and all such stuff. So here's the beefy hunk featuring as our Game of the day. I do care for the families affected by the damn Colorado wildfire, but I also care for all those girls out there. What's wrong with LiLo?!

2012-06-27T15:32:00.000-07:00

Finally, I got a few photos of my favorite wild child Lindsay Lohan on my new blog, but I'm not exactly satisfied. Firstly, because I was under impression that LiLo had ditched her bad phase for good and these pics remind me of those trying times. And secondly, because she doesn't have a smile on her face in a single shot. Anyway, the good thing about this photoshoot is Terry Richardson is as classy as ever and LiLo is looking as hot as ever! So thumbs up for both of them. Keep it up, Terry! Nicely done, LiLo! Hit the jump for more pics.

R.I.P. Nora Ephron

2012-06-27T13:44:00.000-07:00

Celebrated screenwriter and author Nora Ephron died last night in New York. The three-time Oscar nominated maestro of romantic comedies, and author of several bestselling books and essays, was suffering from acute myeloid leukemia and succumbed to pneumonia brought about by it. She was 71.

The Telegraph reports,

"It is with great sadness that we report that Nora Ephron has died," her publisher Alfred A. Knopf, said in a statement. "She brought an awful lot of people a tremendous amount of joy. She will be sorely missed."

Jacob Bernstein, her son, said she died of pneumonia brought about by acute myeloid leukemia. New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg issued a statement calling the loss "a devastating one" for the city's arts and cultural community.

Born in Beverly Hills to screenwriter parents, Nora started her career as a journalist but shifted to movies quickly. Some of her work include When Harry Met Sally, Sleepless in Seattle, You've Got Mail, Julie & Julia and the drama Silkwood with Meryl Streep. Nora was married three times and is survived by her husband of more than 20 years, writer Nicholas Pileggi, and two children with her previous husband, The Washington Post's investigative reporter Carl Bernstein.

R.I.P. Nora Ephron. You will always be missed.

This booty won't rest on just any ordinary toilet!

2012-06-26T16:25:00.000-07:00

Yes, I'm talking about Jennifer Lopez's million dollar bum. And before you start drawing out inferences, let me tell you that the keyword here is hygiene, and not dimension. Apparently, J.Lo is a hygiene freak and simply refuses to put her bum on any toilet unless it is fitted with her own custom-made seat. Wow, that's some unusual but legitimate star tantrum!

ShowbizSpy reports,

“Jennifer is a clean-freak and doesn’t like putting her bum on any toilet unless it’s on her own custom-made seat,” a source said.
“It’s a cover made to fit any loo.”

There we go, with a brand new ~~fable~~ FACT attached to J.Lo's million dollar booty. I'm totally loving this new development! What about you?

Blake Lively tames the Savages

2012-06-26T14:58:00.001-07:00

Blake Lively always emerges as one of the hot favorites whenever I sit down with the intention of updating my list of beautiful and gorgeous Hollywood actresses. Though she has that bad habit of disappearing for weeks, and sometimes months, from the scene, I don't know how she manages to stun me with that perfect appearance right before that updation ritual. No, seriously, I've studied the situation so many times and she never fails. Maybe she can read my mind. Read my mind?! Wait, in that case accept my apologies in advance. BTW, here's the magical beauty stunning everyone at the premiere of Savages last night. Check out more pics of the beautiful Blake Lively right after the jump.

John Travolta sued for alleged sex attack

2012-06-25T16:16:00.001-07:00

John Travolta seems to be acting like a sort of magnet for sex scandals these days. We are still busy evaluating the previous one in our mind, and Travolta has given us a fresh case to burden our little brains. As per reports, Fabian Zanzi, a former Royal Caribbean cruise room attendant, has accused John Travolta in a federal lawsuit of stripping off his robe and making advances. Zanzi has also alleged that Travolta later offered him $12,000 to keep quiet.

People reports,

Fabian Zanzi alleges the actor said, "Take me, I will take care of you, please," during a food delivery to his cabin in June 2009, according to the U.S. District Court lawsuit filed June 21 in Los Angeles. Zanzi, who first made these allegations to the Spanish-language news outlet 24 Horas, is seeking unspecified damages for assault and battery and emotional distress.

I'm not sure if Travolta seriously needed to offer himself to Zanzi, but Travolta's lawyer has strongly rubbished this allegation by saying the accuser is just trying to get his 15 minutes of fame. He reasons that Zanzi had never mentioned any sexual contact when he reported the matter in writing to his employers. On the other hand, Zanzi claims that he wasn't allowed to write anything about the sexual contact when he reported the incident to his supervisor.

Anyway, let the genuine guy win this battle. We will just wait and watch this whole episode with utmost sincerity and interest.

Kim Kardashian's booty all set to conquer Bigg Boss

2012-06-22T17:10:00.000-07:00

I've never been good at formal introductions and the related formalities, so let this big post announce the start of this amazing journey - the Hollywood Safaree, a daily walk through the celebrity jungle. And this post is big in more than one ways, cuz it brings together two big elements together. First one is, of course, the Bigg Boss and the second one is an easy guess for anyone who can view the above image.

Whether or not Kim Kardashian enters Bigg Boss' house as a contestant/guest is not the question here. I'm just trying to figure out who will be the winner if we pitted these two against each other - Bigg Boss' over-inflated ego or Kim Kardashian's magnificent booty?!
