A friend of mine just went to the same bank that he's been going to for years, and this girl comes up to him and asked if he's J. He says yes and she says: "I'm Shay, your sister" and starts crying. They have never met, his dad kept denying him as a son and kept lying to his siblings. Turns out that his sister has been working in that building for years as well. What an incredible moment. What a leap year. You tell me what that is?

Insanity Workout - Day 11 (Cardio Power & Resistance)

I am now on day eleven of my Insanity workout and I feel great. My body started to change already after the first week. The first week was tough, but I did push myself to the limit. I am half way through the second week and the workout routines starts to get kind of boring, since I am doing the same videos over for the second or third time already. Knowing the routines may also give me an advantage of being able to quickly set up for the routines and get through them without thinking if I'm doing them the right way. I can't to enter some new territory though. Tomorrow is the first day I will be powering through two videos in the same day, Pure Cardio and Cardio Abs. I am also super excited about doing the fit test again on Saturday and I can't wait to see my progress in numbers. Let's do this!

Insanity Workout - Day 2 (Plyometric Cardio Circuit)

Alright. Day 2 is over and I am incredibly proud of myself. Again.

My body was aching after yesterday's workout so I was questioning what my body would be able to handle, especially since this workout lasted for 45 minutes and was twice as hard.

I handled it extraordinarily! (haha). I did the entire workout and I feel so good now. Don't think that you will be so exhausted that you'll get discouraged to go on--you will get more inspired. I am not wishing for the two months of Insanity to be over, instead I am motivated for tomorrow's workout and I can't wait to see what else my body can do. How great is that?

I didn't tell you this, but my boyfriend is doing it as well. We decided to start at the same time so that we can push and encourage each other. However, we are not doing it at the same time. I think that we both can be a lot more focused doing it independently, and it really works. I love doing it together, independently.

Insanity Workout - Day 1 (Fit-Test)

I got the suggestion that I could write about my experience with the Insanity Workout on my blog, so here I am.

First off, let me tell you--there is a right and wrong time to start. I really started yesterday but since I had a bad day yesterday I gave up before I even started. The workout whopped my ass. Today I felt like a fighter again and decided to begin the fit-test. And yes, it truly is a test. I though I was bleeding from my inner organs, so hard it was. I thought I would throw up and faint, never to wake up again. Thanks for the coaching Shaun, I wouldn't have done half as well without it.

Now it sounds really bad, but it really wasn't (I have a tendency to exaggerate). However, it was hard for me since I haven't be working out regularly for about 3 months so I am really out of shape.

But I am incredibly proud of myself and today's results with the fit-test, which means that I am really looking forward tomorrow, the day when the real workout begins. Let's see if I feel as positive about the next two months of Insanity Workout. Shaun T, you got nothing on me!

Reading this book. Mostly because my man loves it and I love learning more about other cultures. Sorry for not updating. I would want to update at least once a day, don't had the time for it though. I'm getting ready to take on a new adventure real soon and we need to get prepared for it. Exciting, but creates a lot of pressure and work. Pjuh!

My new baby turtle

Our roommate came home with two turtles for us. I asked for name suggestions on Facebook and ended up with "Lil Princess of Sweden" for the girl. P is gonna do the same thing for the boy so he doesn't have a name yet. Super cute.

It's a great day today, even though it's raining in Hollywood. I have an online event to attend and lots to think about. Love being busy.

Our roommate just brought us back some cool cookies from China town. He also informed us that they have tiny turtles downtown and he's going back tomorrow to get some. We're thinking about getting two turtles ourselves. Why not.

Next week will be full of changes so I need to rest this weekend. My Boo is not, he's been in the studio for the last days and recorded 4 new songs. And more will come. Everything is good.

We had P's family come over for Christmas. His mum brought food, gifts, and silly string. We had a great time! I also got my first American stocking that his sister made. His sister is having a baby in March so now I have to find the perfect gift for the baby shower in February. Any suggestions? I am dying to buy a baby gift basket, but I want something more personal as well. Something to think about.
