Tip 1: Store Pens and Pencils
Pens and pencils storage. Use a coffee mug for neat and easy storage of your pens and pencils. Everyone has a coffee mug and this is a great way of storing your writing utensils.

Tip 2: Recipe Holder
Organize your favorite recipes in alphabetical order. How? Using note cards and a note card box or with a binder and alphabetical separators.

Tip 3: Organize CD’S, DVD’S, Tapes, VHS
Do you collect VHS or DVD movies? Neatly store your collection.

Tip 4: Tote Storage with Clothes Separated By Seasons
Time to store seasonal clothes? Purchase a large plastic lidded storage tub and place your seasonal clothes neatly inside. Alternative to folding, try rolling your clothes as this will reduce wrinkles and fold lines. In addition, it will save a lot of space. Place the storage tub in the floor of your closet and label the tub according to the clothing inside.

Tip 5: Silverware Trays
Use a flatware tray in your kitchen drawer. Keep every utensil separate. Now it easy to find your kitchen utensils.

Tip 6: Magazine and Newspaper Basket
Discard old magazines and newspapers. For storage use a basket next to the sofa. Clean this unit regularly in order to avoid any unsightly clutter.

Throw away mail. This may include credit card offers. Remember - throw them out without first shredding the letters ;-). Identity theft is a huge problem and using a paper shredder on any bills or credit card offers prevents anyone from ever gaining access to your private financial information… so be sure to avoid this so you can have a chance to be on T.V. as the next dummy to be ripped off!

Tip 10: KITCHEN ORGANIZATION
Make sure that your kitchen is neatly organized with all appliances close to an electrical outlet to avoid power cords running across the countertop. You will find that the microwave, toaster and coffee maker all in one location will also be very convenient.

When you are lying in the hospital with three months off work, or worse yet incapacitated or brain dead for life from something as silly as not having proper ventilation perhaps then (:-) If possible) you will reconsider reading up on safety.

Read labels for solvents, cleaners, paints, and provide proper ventilation.

Read tool manufacturers instructions and WARNINGS!

Use Push Sticks for table saws and joiner planers.
(Many, many Fingers Lost! Eventually an accident will happen!)

Silly Serious Mistake - Remember to remove key from drill press and drills before starting.

Let the tool do the work.

Check if adjustments are needed on tools before using Example: (Table Saw Rip Fence).

Clamp small pieces to a bench or to another piece of wood before sawing or drilling.

Wear the right gloves and protection for chemicals and construction.

Wear Eye Protection! (A MUST for working with power tools, especially concrete, and metal)

Keep Hands Away

Hold Circular Saws with both hands (You know where the second hand is as well as creating a straighter cut)! Common Finger Removal Problem !

For Large Drills- Use the handle option. (I learned personally - Snapped my wrist with a 1/2" Milwaukee Drill)

Verify local building codes.

Stay away from Power Tools when you are tired or under the influence of alcohol or drugs.

Cut small pieces off of larger pieces instead of trying to re-cut a small block of wood or small piece of pipe.

Unplug Power Cords when changing a blade or bit! (Is 5 Seconds really worth your hand?)

Good Lighting

Avoid Loose Clothing

Avoid dull tools. Keep tool blades, bits, and edges sharp.

Have workpieces firmly supported and clamped securely.

Avoid sawing between sawhorses (Kick Back Horror Stories)

Supporting workpieces with your leg when sawing

Remove sharp and pointed tools from your pocket.
(Use proper tool belts or tool buckets for such items)
