December was not the greatest month for listings but it does seem to be the same every year. We now have 1,207 listings world wide of which 971 are home exchange listings and 236 rental listings we were hoping to have 1,000 home exchange listings by the end of the year but were 29 short.

We now have 1,156 listings world wide of which 925 are home exchange listings and 231 rental listings by the end of the year we anticipate we will have approximately 1,275 with the current listing rate. This has been achieved without google ads, but once we have paying members we will promote the website using google ads as well, which should add around 1,000 listings per year using current advertising methods and google ads.
All listings are currently Free and will remain so until the end of December 2012 by which time we hope to have between 1500-1600 listings in total, home exchange is a great way to travel and saves you a lot of money on your accommodation costs and in some cases car hire costs. Once we have paying members we will be improving the website and using google ads to increase our membership, we have trialed google ads and found that you could increase listings by about 75 new listings a month so we should be able to increase the listings by 1,000 new listings a year.

Late in making a new post due to gaining access to blogger, the total number of listings world wide is 1,105 of which 885 are home exchange listings and 220 rental listings the website will remain Free until December 2012 this has been achieved with out google ads.
Once we have paying members we will be using google ads to promote the website, we have trialed google ads and this should increase our new listings to about 1,000 new listings a year.

The trend has continued so far this year with around 25 sign up,s per month we now have 1,072 listings world wide of which 860 are home exchange listings and 212 rental listings so we should be close to 1,300 listings by the end of the year. We have tested out the effects google ads would have on our sign up rate and it is pretty impressive but still very expensive roughly for every £100 spent we got 5 sign up,s but it would increase our sign up,s to 100 a month giving you well over 1,000 a year.

once we do have paying members we will be using google ads and improving the website for the members
and increasing our membership by around 1,000 members per year. Meanwhile do enjoy our website

An excellent start to 2011 we now have 1,046 listings in total of which 842 are home exchange listings and 204 rental listings world wide, the cost of listing on home exchange websites has increased considerably in the last few years with companies charging £100-£200 a year listing fee.
We are still keeping our website FREE until we have over 1,000 home exchange listings world wide, we believe that this gives the individual a chance of trying this type of vacation before having to pay for a service they might not like,I am sure in most cases they will but it does give you the option of try before you buy which we think is a great concept.

Once again a New Year is upon us, I hope everybody had a great Christmas and New Year, we did just break the 1,000 listings barrier but only just, we now have 1001 listing in total of which 803 are home exchange listings and 198 are rental listings, but we did make the total we were hoping for.

by sending mainly un-targeted traffic to the website and some targeted traffic from search engines and our blogs also some directories, we have not used expensive google ads to achieve any of our listings so it proves it is possible to promote your website without using the google ads network.

We now have exactly 950 listings world wide of which 766 are home exchange listings and 184 are vacation rental listings both the Simply Home Exchange website and our blog are ranked highly on google search engines which is getting us free organic traffic but the bulk is purchased un-targeted traffic.

The total number of visitors to our website so far this year is 355,608 of which most is un-targeted traffic we have had 211 new listings so far this year we are hoping to achieve 1,000 listings by the end of the year, the website will still remain Free until we have over 1,000 home exchange listings which we hope to achieve by December 2012.
